Ohhh y'all are just kids! Okay yeah this is definitely something I'd've done at 17. I cringe very deeply and occasionally lose sleep when I think back to how awful I was at "flirting". She is probably just trying to get your attention.

When you're dating someone that you're compatible with, good sex is 20% of the relationship. OTOH, bad sex or no sex feels like 80% of the relationship. If your guys' sex drive is that vastly different then you're going to be in for a lot of disappointment. It's best to find someone that you click with who wants to be as intimate with you as much as you want to be with them.

How old are you guys? For me (30F) I use light eye contact and glances as a way to get a vibe from the other person until either he or I approach to cut the sexual tension. If she's glaring at you to the point where it's getting on your nerves and is rude when speaking to you, she either has a lot of inner work to do on how to express to a man that she is interested or there's a very small chance you've offended her in some way and she just doesn't like you.

It bothers me too. I've had a ton of luck dating as a mouthy lil Latina hahaha. I'm not quiet and I swear like a sailor all while being feminine. It's possible. I say whatever works for you, run with that!! Also that is an awesome combo of major and minor. Mine were chemistry and political science! Hahah

Hey, if it works, it works. That's the beauty of individuality! For what it's worth, your look sounds fucking dope.

Holy shit. I'd be out the door yesterday. Holy fucking shit.... "objectively not the kind of girl he would've imagined himself with." Does he know that amanda cerny doesn't even look like amanda cerny? Instagram is so toxic I swear to god

Social media is so fucking toxic, I'm glad to see more and more people stepping away from it.

GIRL. RUN. You saw his true colors. It will only get worse from here. Leave as soon as you possibly can with whatever money you can.

It's not a big deal if more communication and quality time are important to you. Those are completely valid needs. I personally am someone who needs to see their SO very frequently. Don't force yourself to be okay with something you're not. If your bf isn't respecting your needs and at least attempting to compromise than he is not respecting you as a partner.

I am a hairy ass brown girl and I spend far too much time shaving my stupid body, that's how I deal with the hairiness. And now that I'm older I no longer care if I miss a whole ass section, everyone is too obsessed with their own selves to notice a bit of hair. And if they do, who cares we all die anyway! I'm too old to care 😂😂

Love, you know in your heart of hearts that you need to leave this man. Please, for the peace of your soul, go, or you will never be truly happy.

This happened/happens to me all the time. Honestly.... I'm just over it. I'm old enough and desensitized of my thoughts enough to say, "yeah I'm ugly and I just don't give a flying fuuuuuuuuuuuck anymore." I FIXATED on my ugliness for most of my life, it took over everything. My extremely debilitating self consciousness robbed me of my education, of meeting new people, of going outside at all (this quarantine isn't even a bother for me because I had already been isolating myself for 26 years)...…

I'm so happy for you that you've found a man who isn't addicted to porn. Every single man I've dated has been addicted to porn in some form and I'm honestly sick of it and disgusted by it. I agree completely about the horny scumbags of Reddit... I don't even feel the need for partnership anymore because I have completely lost my faith in men. I've wasted soooo much money, time, and effort on men who DID NOT deserve it. I'm ready to be single for a long time, because I know how rare the guys like…

I totally get what you're saying but one of my best friends had a heritable disease and one night we were hanging out and drinking, she told me she wished she had never been born and hates that her parents gave birth to her knowing she'd be disabled. I just think the world is such a cruel place and it places such high emphasis on looks and EVERYTHING in life is harder with a disability. Everything. I've seen it first hand and wouldn't wish it on anybody. Even with a fully functional body and onl…

No because it's highly heritable and I would never put a child in that potential position. It's not fair and extremely unethical to make someone face the world knowing there is a high chance they could get the disorder.

I left my relationship with a guy 10 years older than me because I was sick of feeling like I had to walk on eggshells constantly around him - that is, hiding my expressions, never disagreeing, always taking his side, all because he couldn't handle disagreements. Girl, you're young and this guy very sounds immature. I'd get out if I were you... you should be with someone who can handle your snark and faces.

This needs to be it's own post on r/twoxchromosomes..... every young woman needs to read this. Thank you for taking the time to write this out. Social media fucked my head up beyond belief and I don't know what's real and what's not anymore!

Yeah.... It's a no from me dawg. Why is he so determined to take a major trip with another female? Nobody would be okay with that. You have every right to be upset OP. Y'all should discuss it, and really see if he pays attentions to your concerns. For me, I'd leave if he went on the months long trip... rather not get my heart broken down the road.

Girl I thought the EXACT same things about myself when I was a teen. You need to wait until you're 25 for things to balance out... for us ethnic girls, things take longer to balance out, such as our bodies and hormones and such. It's nice in the long run because when we're 50 we'll look years younger (hopefully hahah) but in the short term it effing SUCKS, especially when you're surrounded with pretty girls. I'm not exaggerating when I tell you... I was a fucking gremlin child... bushy hair, cro…

I tried to do this with my ex as he too was constantly criticizing me for any type of past I might've had.... getting mad at me for having dated other guys that weren't him and calling me promiscuous (and he'd call girls derogatory terms like skanks and sluts and completely objectify all women, like those in movies and tv and even in his every day life). It didn't work and he started saying "I changed" because I was standing up for myself finally. So I left him and I am the happiest I've been in…

Oh my god that would drive me absolutely fucking insane!!!! Sounds like you need to remind him of all the things you do to take care of the house and that you just need him to do this ONE thing. You could sit him down or get him at a quiet moment in the day and say, "darling there's something I need to talk to you about that's been driving me crazy and I just want to address it before I really go crazy." And then explain how you just need him to empty his shit and that you'll take care of the re…

I'm so happy for you!!! Yay!!! It's totally normal to be scared and feeling very lonely and lost. This relationship was a HUGE part of your life and letting that go is not going to be easy. You just need to trust that time will heal the loneliness and it's gonna be tough getting used to being alone but girl you are in such a better place now to start thriving and growing and being comfortable with yourself. Now just stay safe in quarantine and when you're out, start looking for a job.

Babe, don't let the harshly worded comments hurt your feelings but they're right. Sweety you have to get out of there as soon as possible. I am just like you and I wear my heart on my sleeve and am hyper-sensitive to criticism. This situation is only going to get worse, I am speaking from experience. Get the hell out of there babe before it's too late. Please save yourself.

What is STFU? The only thing I know it stands for is "shut the fuck up", which tbh I definitely need to do more of in my relationship hahah

Wow yeah I'm the same way, don't like condoms and do NOT like fake hormones in my body. Hormonal bc ruined my skin and makes me go kind of insane hahah. I've already bled through pants before on my period (at work no less...) because I put off changing my tampon/pad for too long, so the not putting it off is great advice 😂 Thanks a bunch for the response, I feel much better about the iud!!

I just got a copper iud on Thursday January 9th and my bleeding has not stopped since (3 weeks)!! And I keep getting stabs of pain in my uterus area.. please tell me this is normal and that it gets easier? Lol. How long have you had your iud for?
