The merits of MGTOWs grievances are irrelevant. Everyone is entitled to their own decisions and agency vis a vis dating, sex, etc.

You probably act like an asshole. People who complain about having to "filter" themselves frequently act like assholes.

Fair enough, although there's evidence that legalized areas actually see increased illegal trafficking so I'm not so sure that's accurate.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/16 11:10 PM
2

Ok, and? That's a total non sequitur from the fact that right now a "lady of the night" is relatively unlikely to be truly consenting to this.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/16 11:00 PM

It's an actual concept in the same way "solipsism" is - a real phenomenon that has been bastardized by a very specific demographic for a very specific reason and has been overused to the point of being a vague term that just means "bad behavoir people I disagree with do".

"Signaling" is Internet talk for "expressing an opinion I don't think you should hold". Ironically, using the word signaling is a huge signal to a very specific portion of Internet culture. Or are you simply expressing your opinion genuinely?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/16 09:28 PM

I don't believe you. If you are smart, fit, attractive, and have good social skills you will have success with women. If you aren't, one of the above (if not multiple) are not true.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/16 09:26 PM
2

in order to signal Or maybe they genuinely believe it. "Signaling" has become overused to the point of meaninglessness. How can you discern someone's intention that intimately?

If I had to distill TRP into one post that's be it. Allows complete and full projection of all the readers past failures with women and relationships onto some girl you BANGED HARD last night before HITTING THE GYM.

Keep moving them goalposts!

Let's assume you're right. You have it worse. Serious question - so what? What specifically do you want done?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/16 06:54 PM

Swole men and players don't need TRP; you people tell me they're naturals who get 80% of the sex. Why would they be mad? Unfortunately your solipsism seems to cause your projection here.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/16 11:20 PM
3

According to TRP swole/player men are the ones who are getting laid, nearly exclusively. Why do you care if you feel "shamed"? I thought TRP is about sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/16 11:08 PM
15

Bruh if you need a political movement to get some tail you are doing many things very wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/16 10:57 PM
7

I used to post a lot more here on PPD. Then I realized that lots of posters here, nearly exclusively from the TRP side, would talk about their mental illnesses and just general life shitiness and it made me feel...sad. So I stopped.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/16 10:46 PM
3

If it's not core then why sticky it? Furthermore, the question was why women are put off by TRP, not whether or not "core" TRP is right or wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/16 11:52 PM
7

I think it's pretty reasonable for women to be upset by a group that literally advocates removing their right to vote and stickies posts like "99% of single mothers are subhuman scum".
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/16 09:34 AM
2

Let's assume you're right. What does this have to do with sexual strategy? All you TRPers tell us you're apolitical amoral blah blah. What gives?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/16 10:29 PM
6

nobody in 2xc Except, ya know, all the people who've made it literally the top post in the sub. Sick gotcha moment bro! What does this have to do with sexual strategy? I thought TRP was apolitical...
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/16 10:08 PM

TRP ladies and gentleman! Repeat after me: the anger is just a phase. The anger is just a phase. The anger is just a phase.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/16 10:51 PM

I guess I would say this type of masculinity could be harmful to a particular individual if they are hurting themselves in one form or another in order to live up to that ideal. That's how I'd define toxic masculinity, as a man. It's society at larges fault so we all share some blame - if anything feminism seems to try and get rid of gender norms that can be harmful so I don't think you can fairly lay it at their feet.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/16 10:48 PM
3

I'm BP. This type of masculinity is absolutely beneficial - it's all positive traits you've listed. What gives you the idea BP disagrees. We disagree with the wacko shit TRP posts near constantly; not the "no shit" stuff like "being attractive confident and assertive" will benefit you greatly.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/16 09:32 PM
6

Masculinity, in this case, would be defined as physical strength, assertiveness, confidence, courage, and sexual boldness. LMAO uh yes these things are 1000% beneficial qualities for a man to have. Is this supposed to be a gotcha question? I can't imagine anyone disagreeing.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/16 09:17 PM
1

Good for you!
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/15 11:52 AM

I can think of few things less "alpha" than paying for sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/15 01:22 AM
7

I'm highly skeptical of this "dating for men 30+ is easy peasy and all those hot college thots who rejected you will now be begging for it" trope. To me, it's so obviously wishful thinking as to be pretty laughable. Sure, if you get physically attractive and put down the vidya long enough to get a robust social life then yes, you can certainly see improvement. But to think that your average TRP Joe software developer in his 20s is suddenly George Clooney once he's 30 is absurd.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/15 12:51 AM
5

I have. My anecdotes differ than yours. Who's are more right?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/15 10:47 PM
1

Maybe, maybe not. Who knows?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/15 10:42 PM
15

Yep - and you see scores of men on Reddit lamenting women with high partner counts while simultaneously browsing subreddits literally dedicated to raising their partner counts. We can play this game all day friend. People are hypocrites, particularly when it comes to sex and relationships. Not sure what your message here is beyond "something something women BAD" And actually, I see just as many stupid dating memes (if not more) from guys than girls on Facebook. Time to cull your newsfeed dog.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/15 10:19 PM
14

Both men and women enjoy the benefits that traditional gender roles, stereotypes, and expectations give them whilst simultaneously lamenting those that harm them. PEOPLE are hypocrites.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/15 09:55 PM
1

well not all TRP think 50% of the population shouldn't vote cause we hate them!
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/15 12:40 AM
3

I'm TBP and this is spot on. Whining & externalizing blame in the dating world is just so unhelpful.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/15 11:10 PM
3

Lmao one of the grander non-sequiturs I've seen. What's stopping you from starting your own manosphere site?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/15 09:29 PM
7

There is no "truth" when it comes to dating, sex, and relationships. We can trade anecdotes like cannon fire all day long.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/15 09:27 PM
1

I think both TRP & TBP would agree that the more you put women and sex on a pedestal the less likely it is to happen. Develop a robust social life, hobbies, have a modicum of social skills and be somewhat good looking.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/15 04:50 PM

Less than 10 is low IMO
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/15 10:54 PM

TGP is 100% TRP - some dude with a low partner count telling others how the dating world works even though he hasn't been in it for years.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/15 10:27 PM
2

I have plenty of sympathy for "incels". My question is, do male "incels" have sympathy for say, lonely women? Or not because they're higher on the Life Sucks ladder? How about you xenmas?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/15 11:48 PM
3

The comments in this thread are overwhelmingly TRPers saying women can't possibly understand loneliness, lower men have it so much worse, etc. Comes off as incredibly weak to me, and I'm BP. Aren't TRP supposed to be strong? Seems like they want to win the "Most Shit On" prize but I can't understand what that prize is.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/15 10:46 PM
5

No one IRL gives a fuck about your vidya. What does this have to do with sexual strategy? Take your GG shit to KiA.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/15 10:32 PM
1

So do all you incels/FA/beta bros get some medal or cookie for being the Most Worse Off in DatingTM? Because y'all joke about oppression Olympics but holy shit do you go to some lengths to argue about who has it worse. Serious question: so what?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/15 10:29 PM
2

Are you having a manic episode OP? Enough internet.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/15 08:09 PM

Bro I'd watch how you talk to him if I were you - guy trains w a bowflex.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/15 05:03 PM

Lmao I'm sure teeny bopper hearts all across the globe just broke upon hearing that. Who's "they"? The girls who rejected you in HS are....still in HS?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/15 04:59 PM
5

Welp, time to wrap it up BP. We've been definitively proved wrong by this guys anecdote!
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/15 04:56 PM

From what I understand r/MensRights is one of the more liberal forums - the MRM at large is very conservative.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/15 11:18 AM
1

...what does that have to do with sexual strategy? That's what TRP is about, right? Or are you another COMPLAIN ABOUT WOMEN group?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/15 08:57 PM
10

What does this have to do with sexual strategy? Take your WOMEN ARE COMING FOR MUH VIDYA to KiA.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/15 09:12 PM
2

Of course they do - TRP is a safe space for neo-reactionaries who can't stand anything that doesn't center around white upper class men.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/15 09:23 PM
4

That post is fake as fuck - there is no way someone just remembers 1000 social interactions unless they're Rain Man.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/15 09:24 PM

No, they would most definitely not have committed their crimes if they got lots of tail. What's your point?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/15 10:04 PM

The notion of a compulsory abortion is so antithetical to western liberal values that I can't quite articulate how vehemently I disagree. So I'll just say, no.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/15 10:42 AM
4

Tone policing is when TRP objects to the fact that you think a phrase like, say, "99% of single mothers are sub-human scum" is both factually incorrect & simply an awful thing to say or believe. TRP is in Defcon 1 deflection mode after this shooting - man your battle stations! They are gonna toss around every buzzword in the book lest someone call them out on their shit.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/15 09:34 PM
5

Oh come on. You're disregarding the obvious elephant in the room of socioeconomic class. In a poor, urban environment a drug dealer is "high value" in the sense he offers protection, resources, etc. Rich sorority girls aren't dating him - other "lower class" people are.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/15 09:16 PM
11

Holy shit this shooting is bringing the weirdos out of the woodwork. A good portion of you TRPers could use a mental health eval.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/15 09:13 PM
3

Yep, agree 100%. Personal responsibility literally does not exist; Mom not bringing me my tendies is the cause of all of this.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/15 09:10 PM
1

Did you not have any beta friends that struggled with girls? I did. Did you not notice the dudes that would try to talk to girls, but would only end up disgusting them and being the butt of their jokes later? No, nothing that extreme. Do you think that justifies murder?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/15 10:27 PM
6

No one taught me "how to be a man". I figured shit out on my own. I also didn't shoot up schools. Not that difficult. TRP fucks make it seem like being a functioning human is some herculean task. Pathetic.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/15 10:18 PM
10

Awareness of what? That incels are likely mass murderers? That women should bang that weirdo because if not he might kill someone?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/15 10:03 PM
13

Jesus christ even male mass shooters are never to blame according to TRP. Aren't you guys all about personal accountability?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/15 09:14 PM

Im INCEL, an ephebophile, and nevertheless, ten times the gentleman you will ever be. Ayyy l'mao
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/15 11:58 AM

If I am disillusioned with the society in which I live, I will not fight war to protect it. You will if you're legally compelled to. Just like taxes.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/15 06:29 PM
1

Ahem, "ephebophiles". Seriously thought, you'd think a "traditional" or "masculine" philosophy like TRP would hate pedos but hey looks like they're part of the gang too!
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/15 10:40 PM
1

Oh.

/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/15 08:30 PM
1

Curious to your n count.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/15 08:20 PM
3

Yep, TRP (figuratively) gets away with murder in this sub. They write Eliot Rodgers level shit like this but if you respond with "you're an asshole" whoaaaaa all of a sudden guys guys lets be civil. This is TRP 2.0 where those tired of the main subs circlejerk can come but now they're turning it into another fap session.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/15 08:19 PM
4

It's funny - I've noticed the overwhelming sentiment in TRP that laments how women and society supposedly never let a man be weak, show emotion, etc. & then turn right around and promote the virtues of stoicism, maintaining frame, being the captain, etc. Seems like a self-fulfilling prophecy to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/15 08:13 PM
1

Just because you are incapable of empathy for your fellow man does not mean I am not as well. Don't tell me how I feel. You don't know me.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/15 03:22 PM
1

I am a man. I would have empathy for men who were tricked into sex trafficking. I would not have empathy for men or women who gave money away via Twitter because of a hashtag. Do you literally not understand nuance?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/15 02:56 PM
1

Because giving your money away via Twitter is totes the same thing as being sex trafficked.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/15 02:53 PM

Rules are for EVERYONE -- not just TRPers. This place is basically TRPs playground - I see far more personal attacks & rule breaking from TRP so I'm not buying what you're selling.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/15 01:55 PM

Ah, true. I'll delete, you SJW censor.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/15 01:51 PM

Simply buying a sandwich from an attractive women in Subway would not count towards your success rate. DAMMIT
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/15 01:27 PM

Must have proper punctuation in your long slur-filled rants but can still have slurs? Doesn't really make sense to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/15 02:27 PM

BP women right here on this sub have questioned why men seem to get so emotional over job losses. Let's see the link bucko cause I call bullshit.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/15 01:43 PM
1

It's useful for me in online interactions with self described incels - I'm gonna keep doing it because I've found it works when interacting or trying to offer advice.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/15 04:01 PM
1

Incel is an exponentially smaller group than women, though. AIALT - it's a heuristic bro :)

Alphas play sports and lift, no vidya allowed.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/15 11:02 AM

Dude, women are not the Borg with some hive mind conspiring to keep you un-laid. "Female imperative" lolol this is some bizarre pedistalization
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/15 10:49 AM
2

I have seen multiple self described incels say they have mental issues. Ergo, anecdote.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/15 10:44 AM
2

Is there a difference? Anecdotal evidence seems widely accepted on TRP, which is fine btw.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/15 10:28 PM
1

Yes, it's anecdotal evidence. I don't have scientific proof.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/15 10:13 PM
1

Good on ya! It is funny since TRP is supposed to be DAT LOCKER ROOM (even tho I suspect very few have ever set foot inside a locker room but that's for another debate)
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/15 09:51 PM
0

I've never seen anyone who self-labels as "incel" who doesn't admit to mental health issues or come off as obviously needing them.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/15 09:50 PM
2

you can come back if you plan to be civil btw GASP! Are you.....tone policing????
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/15 07:29 PM
1

Hey man, I've seen a lot of your posts here. Why so much hostility? I gather you're neither TRP nor TBP - so what exactly is your view on all of this? Because it seems to be little beyond "Women are bad".
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/15 07:23 PM
4

Fair enough. But that doesn't make TRP right - just means it's accessible.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/15 02:28 PM
1

Right - I have neither the time nor energy to write a Personal Improvement Manifesto but if I did those would be the chapter titles so to speak. Romantic success is possible without acting like an awful person.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/15 02:20 PM
3

This is my TL;DR guide - but, once the previous 3 are done or at least started it's really not that hard to go on dates.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/15 02:14 PM
18

Therapy to sort out issues (anyone using the word "incel" without irony likely needs it). Become physically attractive. Develop social life. Go on dates. This is not new or novel information - TRP found a wheel & think they invented it.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/15 02:02 PM
5

Actually I thionk TRP is very clear about honesty concerning non-exclusivity when you are plate spinning. Bullshit. The advice is universally "deflect" or "agree & amplify", both of which are definitely not "honesty". Now a girl assuming exclusivity is most likely her fault, but still, you know people are getting hurt with this. We're not being moral about it. We're being effective. Another TRP deflection but that's a whole different discussion.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/15 01:55 PM
5

If they are following our advice, and making it clear.... "Hey, we're not exclusive. Thats not something I am doing in my life right now. I'm just rolling with it, and having fun, and I haven't got my eye set on a long monogamous LTR right now".... Then whats wrong about that ? Bullshit. TRP regularly advises dancing around any type of definitive answer on this type of conversation. "Deflect", "agree & amplify", etc. You're a nice spokesman TGP but this is lipstick on a pig crap.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/15 12:41 PM
2

Lol these TRP comments They're more cunning than I am & better at social engineering!!! Such positivity!
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/15 12:27 PM
3

TL;DR I knew a guy once who lied ergo all BP lies about partner count. I bet my N count is higher than yours but you can just claim I'm lying. Isn't that convenient?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/15 12:34 PM
3

It's funny - so many TRP are complete failures (by their own admission) at the lifestyle they choose yet still have the energy to get frothing mad (oh sorry, it's "snark") and write slurs on the internet. It's laughable.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/15 03:28 PM
1

Considering TRP is one part of a larger neo-reactionary political philosophy any couching of their language would be anathema & decidedly un-TRP. They do not want more civilized language nor do they want more civilized discourse or discussion.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/15 01:55 PM
1

Hell nah. I'm a pretty straightforward "bro" type guy & TRP absolutely repulses me. Kind of funny when I get retorts like "HAHA FOUND THE BLUE HAIRED TUMBLRINA".
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/15 12:23 PM

I never fat-shamed anyone in my life, so if I had a button next to me right now that would make everyone stop bullying fat people, and also when it comes to bullying neckbeards, fedoras, virgins, bronies, nerds and so on, I would slam it pretty hard right now. Agree 100%. I imagine that if you were teleported to the same room and saw what was included in the package you'd be reaching for my hand while screaming Noooo! Don't take away my ability to shame those nasty maaalesss! I'm a dude. TBP is …
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/15 05:24 PM
4

Classic "whataboutism". Even if I did accept your statement as true that in no way proves that Fat Acceptance is wrong - rather it proves that type of support system should be implemented more widely.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/15 05:01 PM
1

Mmm snark. Maybe it's your ability to explain that's the issues. Can you try again? And I'll try in good faith to interpret.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/15 04:53 PM
2

So you're basing your reasoning on a "fact" that you yourself admit is not actually a fact? Don't you see how your opinion is warped? Do you assume all surveys about social behavior are lies?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/15 04:51 PM
3

The fact that women have an overall tendency to falsely report the number of sexual and romantic encounters. MASSIVE CITATION NEEDED.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/15 04:46 PM
1

What reason do you have to believe that they're false?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/15 04:39 PM
6

Isn't TRP great? You can hand-wave away any information that goes against your worldview as simply a lie. It's no wonder TRP is such a bunker-mentality - everyone who disagrees is LYING AND DISHONEST. Logic & rational, indeed.

/r/PurplePillDebate18/09/15 01:37 PM

Thank god! So we can finally disregard that citation from TRP that higher partner count correlates with higher divorce rates, right? And anything with the Pareto Principle too right? Like that OKC study? Cause it must be biased too? Right????

80% of the RP users here are far more reasonable and intelligent than the people who actually exist on TRP. Ha! I'm sure TheGreasyPole will chime in with his sage wise advice for us youngins but the rest of the TRP here is the same ol' freakshow crowd.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/09/15 06:06 PM

It's hilarious how excited TRP is about this. Like they are literally drooling. To me, if I had to pick one issues that describes TRP it's this. It perfectly illuminates their dissonance with desiring women so badly while feeling such disdain towards them.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/09/15 06:05 PM
10

why aren't single fathers horrible too? Because TRP generally hates women & will give the man the benefit of the doubt in literally every single situation while simultaneously assuming the literal worst in every single woman. Not too complicated - don't overthink this.

So someone who you personally find displeasing to the eyes is worthy of ridicule? Glad you're just an impotent dude on the internet & don't have any real power.

OK, let's assume that is is hypocritical. I'll be generous. What now? Does this somehow make your stance, whatever it even is, correct? I can find a zillion hypocritical moments in any philosophy or movement - does that make their opposite correct?

Yeah that's the second time you've mentioned some random quote today - xenmas it's time for you to take a serious break from the Internet and focus on your own issues.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/15 11:22 PM

AF-BB dichotomy. To me, this is the most enlightening view that TRP has - it really shows what they're all about. Even when you have a wife/gf/whatever she's likely two-timing you with a BAD BOY!!!!! It's like...TRP literally cannot accept that maybe a woman won't do them wrong - it simply does not compute.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/15 08:11 PM
2

Let me rephrase - why don't you take me at my word? I take TRP at their word - they're angry & hurt & 99% readily admit it.

How do you know what I feel or think?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/15 03:41 PM

Because the anger is not a phase for an overwhelming majority of TRP - it's their permanent state. Some claim to be past the anger & something something amused mastery but it's laughably transparent. TRP is 99% deeply scarred, scared, hurt, and angry men. I really feel bad for them.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/15 01:21 PM

TRP is vague & wishy-washy enough that you can apply it's "principles" to literally any situation if you so choose. I mean, they advocate for it literally being an all-encompassing worldview so it's not surprising when "durr durr AWALT confirmed" is thrown around.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/15 05:02 PM

most guys just use it to improve their lives and help them deal with women and keep politics in a different box. Hamstering & Solipism. Typical TRP.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/15 01:42 PM

TRP is one off-shoot of a larger neo-reactionary movement, so yes, I personally feel that being left-wing (even left-leaning) and TRP is incompatible. Cue TRPers telling me how they're liberal because they support getting their student loan debt wiped or some shit.

/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/15 12:50 PM

Absolutely. I've seen TRPers in this sub link to "human biodiversity" websites. There is an undeniable overlap with TRP and other explicitly racist reactionary movements.

Fathers or other men in a boys family used to pass down they type of knowledge that your father passed down to you. They still do. Maybe yours didn't - I don't mean that as an insult, just saying you cannot extrapolate your experiences to society at large. How do you think that this chain of information became broken in so many families Again, where are you getting this info? This isn't something you can quantify.

TRP is a reaction to extreme radical 3rd wave feminism, from men who are trying to fit into a society that has called them a privileged and oppressive upper class. This is not a fact. This is your opinion of what TRP is.

/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/15 07:19 PM

Meh - it certainly sounds nice & I'm sure it is a supposed lightbulb moment for the socially clueless. But economic principles presuppose rational actors - in the context of sex & relationships I think that is an extremely incorrect assumption to make.

I'm a guy - I'm not "feigning" anything to you. I think what TRP tells you to do is quite unhealthy for a large number of the guys that adhere to it.

I say "force" because I see a lot of TRP who clearly are not comfortable being this hypermasculine james bond type. Look at AskTRP - so many posts about how they struggle to "maintain frame" and feel like frauds. Because they are forcing themselves to act like something they're not. It ain't healthy!

TRP doesn't have space for happiness really does it? I've seen multiple upvoted comments in TRP that basically say happiness is not something a man should strive for, he's the leader & should carry the burdens, the obsession with stoicism, etc etc. It's sad.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/15 04:08 PM
7

I see very little "happiness" when I read TRP. I see anger & hurt, mainly.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/15 03:52 PM
3

TRP is, in my opinion, the absolute definition of "toxic masculinity". it's men forcing themselves to adhere to certain gender roles and basically claiming anyone who doesn't follow their rigid definition is a "beta" (read: not a real man). The sad thing is they're doing it to themselves. Willingly.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/15 03:42 PM

I'm pretty damn BP & that article is absurd. I won't defend it; it's just silly. That said, I can go find 10 articles by Roosh & make a thread just like this. Hey TRP, look at this insane guy on your side. Checkmate! That said, I would posit that the BP definition of masculinity & the TRP one are different.

TRP is a stew made from 1/3 PUA, 1/3 Conspiracy, and 1/3 MensRights. If PUA is going to church on the major holidays, TRP is going to meet David Koresh & checking out his neat compound. TRP likes to look down on PUA cause you guys live this shit. It's a central part of your identity. PUA is the JV squad. Screw that, PUA is the JV squad & you guys are playing D1 ball. We don't believe we should have to use weird tricks to attract women. Implying "dread game" is not one of the tools most advocated…

I just wondered why it had occurred so strongly to you. Because I see lots of anger & bitterness on TRP. And not just "anger phase" brouhaha. I'll give it to you TGP - you are a great ambassador for TRP - cool, calm, "logical". But when I actually visit your subs, particularly AskTRP, I see hurt & anger & lost men & it's easy to connect the dots with this "Chad" archetype.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/15 03:53 PM

Wow, I think that says more about you than us. What does it say about me, oh wise one?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/15 03:49 PM

It's not intentional; it's simply in your nature. This is why there's no actual debate in this sub. TRP literally believes women cannot control their actions. How can there be any debate if that premise is accepted?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/15 03:48 PM

Chad is literally the personification of all of your insecurities. The crazy thing is TRP actively encourages you to think about Chad in the back of your mind constantly. No wonder y'all are angry & bitter - you can't stop watching the movie in your head where Chad bests you at literally everything.

I think everyone has biases, to me ,BPers TRP often seem unwilling to admit their own. See how that works? We can play this game all day long. This is a silly CMV "Convince me to change my entire worldview using only text from strangers on the internet" Uh, no.

Lol what area "where women are doing worse" do MRAs support? Not that they necessarily SHOULD support women's issues but that is quite a claim. MRAs are simply anti-feminists. You see lots of anti-liberal, anti-progressive sentiments alongside that.

What exactly do you mean by the "CC"? Because no, I don't buy that in any capacity as a thing. "SMV" is largely crap too. Applying economic theories to human interactions whole assuming rational actors is pretty damn JV.

why should we take into account the consideration of a third party? Because to me, the wrongness of hurting the 3rd party trumps the fun of the "hobby" (that can also be obtained elsewhere". But what is decent? If you consider sex as a hobby the moral consideration are out. Again, that's why this is an impossible CMV. We aren't even playing the same sport here.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/15 03:10 PM
1

Sex addiction is absolutely a thing. You have no way of knowing if a cheater is addicted to sex. I'm going to operate on the assumption that most cheaters do not have a fairly rare condition. Even if they are, so what? A person with food addiction comes up to you and asks you to go to lunch. What do you do? Having lunch with someone isn't going to hurt a 3rd party.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/15 03:02 PM
1

Why are we talking about addicts? Cheating has nothing to do with an addiction. I would say the food addict has a responsibility to not put themselves in situations likely to trigger a binge. Just like the alcoholic shouldn't sit around in a bar. This has little to do with OP's hypothetical though.

You don't know the guy, never met him, never talked to him. You don't own him anything. If his spouse cheats that's not your problem nor your responsibility. 1) I would say we owe it to each other to do the decent thing to each other as much as possible. Which in my eyes, includes not sleeping with their partner. 2) If the rightness or wrongness of something depends on how well you know the other party, then it's probably wrong. Also, this is kind of an impossible "CMV" - the whole premise of it…

What RP advises is to Use that power imbalance to be the captain of your ship. Use the power you have as this captain to see to the safety of the whole ship and all of the passengers aboard. I 100% agree with FPH banning. They were IRL harassing/doxxing people & frankly were bad publicity for Reddit. SRS is a boogeyman now - they have such a small presence compared to FPH & other subs and again, they are not bringing negative attention to Reddit.
