Every time I express my concerns I am framed as a problem. The couple therapy made it worse, because therapist for entire 4 months focused exclusively on her complains and mine were reframed as controlling because I want to maintain MY AGENCY. I dont get it how not agreeing to everything she wants is controlling?? The message is clear: she makes much more this means she deserves to control both lives and I have to comply.

I came from country where growing up people hated gays. But after moving to USA and meeting few gay people I change my mind. The more gay people I net the more my new POV solidified. But it was opposite to lesbians. We thought they were hot and sexy, but actually they are obnoxious, arrogant, self centered and violent. The world is not what we think it is.

Then the narrative is flipped on its head. You will hear how much more she makes than you and deserves more than you and she deserves to make all the choices for both of you including where you live and in what house. And if you disagree you will be called narrow minded, annoying or the problem. Also you will be required to do hobbies she like even if you suck at it. Her parents will look down on you because you dont make enough. And at couples therapy you will be told you are controlling becaus…

Here is a twist - i was told to be banner for participating in r/MaleMentalHealth Apparently men cannot get support for mental health because its misogyny if they do. " You were banned for participating in r/MensRights and r/MaleMentalHealth. For the safety of our members, we do not allow people who interact in misogynistic subs in this sub. "

I hot the same. Its ridiculous. It only deepen the divide between genders. The goal is to suppress mens rights, because its inconvenient for the narrative that only women are victims. Its kind of ludicrous to see they are exposing one abuse but silencing the other one. It actually inspires misogyny because thats what misandry does.

The thing is that there are people who genuinely want equality and call themselves feminists. Not many but there are.

Can you elaborate on that? I think sexual relationship with minors are universally condemned by society no matter if it is male or female. Of course female teacher on male student gets less scrutiny but it doesn't make it OK by any standards.

Women mostly? I think its more or less equal. TBH I think women are better at figure skating but there are plenty of other winter games where men are better.

Most of people would subconsciously try to hold on to it and come up with all the reasons why its mot true they are in power. Then there is small group that would realize its power. And in that group one part would just enjoy and stay quiet about it. The other part would try to make world a better place by making the world more equal.

They do. Often I see high school teacher had sex with her students. And those are often good looking women. Crazy!! Actually most child molesters news I see are women. Maybe because its more sensational but it just makes me wonder. But the penalties they get are crazy low in comparison to men comitting the same crime. We need more equality in consequences of their actions no matter the gender, race or religion.
/r/MensRights24/02/26 11:31 PM

They are two types of feminists. 1. Those who want equality and 2. Those who want leverage. Same word two meanings. To properly convey the meaning I use egalitarian. It means equality for all. If feminist gets pissed it means they are the ones who want leverage not equality. Healthy feminist acknowledges equality for all.

No one should be forced to go to war. Our country already gets cut from the money we make (income tax) then another cut when we spend that money (sales tax) and if we invest the money that they already taxed we the government gets capital gains tax. How many times the sane money will get taxed? And then they expect you to go to war while politicians start the wars. Thats a scam! Land of the free...

I hate war in general. No men or women should be forced to fight. War is a form of massive violence and aggression against other group of people dictated by the selfish leadership. The leadership that wanted the war should be at the front lines. I bet you they will try to find a peaceful solution.

I have a feeling if men drinks he still would not be able to claim SA. No one will believe it but they will surely make fun of him to discredit. But if we reverse genders suddenly we have a very serious case of victim and perpetrator and all feminists on board. What a world SA is serious thing but reducing it to who drunk is very inaccurate and enables abusers of the system. Easiest solution: virtual consent via app. Sounds stupid but there are no better alternatives. Otherwise we end up with he…

Only one way I see that works: make it super easy and electronic so its signed with 20-30 seconds. 1. Select activities you consent and if only both parties consent to them its full co sent. 2. Sign form with your fingerprint 3. Proceed to activities... As ridiculous as it sounds it would actually reduce a lot of police work in cases of SA. Thus freeing police resources paid from taxpayer money.

Lets face the facts if men were driven 24/7 by desire to chase sex feminists would succeed in their campaign and Harris would be a president. Im not fan of Trump but the fact is that he is the president of the USA. So feminists approach failed (again!) thus the idea that men are driven by pursuit of sex is debunked. Not for the first time. Doing the same thing over again expecting different results is a definition of insanity. They would rather go insane together than change their mind about men…

I actually think that feminism needs some division to distinguish feminists who hate men from the ones who are willing to work with men for equality of both genders. This would help to make progress and at the same time separate from those giving bad reputation to feminism.
/r/MensRights23/07/25 05:21 AM

There should be some semi formal division within feminism to distinguish the ones that hate men from the ones who want to fight for equality together with men as a team.

Im happy for women to get their degrees. But the scholarships only for women dont seem fair and might be contributing to growing gender disparity of graduates. Same like scholarships for non white people. But its also a good point that many men choose trade schools instead. I actually think education should be free for students and by taxes. This would allow those who want to study to just do it, without worrying to get into huge debt. Similar like they do in sone European countries. And if stil…

I appreciate your comment. Those conversations can be hard especially on the internet when its easy to misinterpret comments when we dont see person body language and tone of voice. I know that women experience prejudice in different areas than men. And its not easy for either one of the genders. I just hope men and women can support each other on this journey.

Sign ne up if there is movement like that. I am happy to fight for women's issues if they also fight for men's issues.
/r/MensRights23/07/25 04:53 AM

I agree 💯 I think its called equalism. Not a formal movement but the same idea. The issue is that most places dont take men issues seriously. Its treated like it does not exist. There was some movement with male loneliness epidemic but that's about it. Not enough men are willing to open up about it and some issues are not prominent until experienced (custody battles, family court, false allegations etc). I think men have to spread more awareness of those groups so more men will join. Also women …

I acknowledge that both genders have issues. The topic here is women getting more degrees and men more incarnation. Why?

Most men are not rich men and dont benefit from this system
/r/MensRights23/07/25 04:30 AM

Look men have almost zero resources. There is much more forums about women issues. And when men have their own space even those get invaded. The mistrust is growing. The ball is in the women's court. I would very much see the future where women are feeling safe, are treated without any bias, and both genders have exactly the same rights and privileges. This would eliminate most of the gender based hatred, resentment and make a world more enjoyable place to live.

I dont go to feminist forum to argue with women that they are not victims of the system. On the contrary what are you doing at this forum?? Exactly !!!!

System is ruled by rich and powerful men. Not by all men. Surprise! I guess you did not know it. Only rich and powerful are above the law. Meanwhile men face harder punishments for the same crimes than women. I never promised you any list so how could I fail at providing it? Of course women have issues. For example if I was a women I would not feel so confident walking alone at night. But why should I make that list? This is not the forum nor the topic to talk about it. You came here and trying to turn it and make it all about you. Do you always only care about yourself or things that only benefit you?
/r/MensRights23/07/25 04:00 AM

Valid point is that you are selfish manipulator. Coming here and on every thread trying to turn conversation into your issues. You are essentially saying "men issues don't mean shit" at the men's rights forum. If you are expecting standing ovation you may need to check yourself into psychiatric ward.
/r/MensRights23/07/25 03:57 AM

See you cannot see men and women coexisting. Its your problem. The pro men you see as anti women. No one hates women here. We just hate the system that perpetuates inequality.

Strip all women rights? You sound paranoid. I know they are stuck in last century but stripping all women rights sounds ridiculous. Meanwhile even before baby is born women can decide to abort and ditch the 20 years of responsibility. Men has to accept responsibility by either raising child or paying child support or both!!! Women can even leave child in hospital for adoption after child is born. Men has ZERO choice in the same situation. But you wouldn't give a damn because you have this weird …

Again I did not say it was my choice. But some men expressed that its better to be acknowledged then treated as incarnation of Satan! I did not choose any of the two political parties. I dont like how democrats treat men and how Republicans treat women. But your solution and many feminists is to present men as creatures dangerous to surroundings and evil by nature. And on top of that expect that the same men will be happy to help you fix your issues. Ludicrous!!!

/r/MensRights23/07/25 12:39 AM

Who said I'm cool with Republicans? I stated fact why some men chose to vote for them. Im pro equalism not feminism. One group should not be compensated at the expense of the other. No matter gender, race or culture. And if you resent to slander you better leave this group because you are toxic. Bye!!

No one said that they are all innocent. You are twisting what I said. I said there is certain racial profiling and you clearly denying existence of racial profiling. Same with sentencing. Same crime: why women get lesser sentence than men for the exactly the same crimes committed????? Is that because our ancestors (including yours!!!!) have abused some women? Concluding here that feminism is NOT equalism.
/r/MensRights23/07/25 12:34 AM

Im happy for women succeeding but not at the expense of men. This is toxic as well as the hatred that you spew around here. Scholarships for women? No wonder they can graduate. Those who can't pay for college can't graduate!!! Consider that!!!!

And do you think men were not oppressed by wealthy and powerful men? Or having XY chromosome (which we can't control sorry!!!) Is equivalent with being incarnation of evil??? I have cameras in most of the rooms of the house. It is illegal to put cameras in some other rooms where reasonable privacy is expected (e.g. bedroom) so I did not place them there. But issue is that sometimes those cameras do not work exactly as supposed to. They are set to motion detect at highest sensitivity but they do not always record. This way I missed some of her rages from being recorded.

The worst thing about therapy is that when I described this situation I was completely dismissed. Both first two female therapists said that "If you did not hit her you will not be charged with DV". I do not think they know how those things work. Then I got a male therapist. To my surprise he did not address this issue, but mentioned that 99% of time the women would get custody of children if we had them. My wife really really wants them. I am worried.

/r/MensRights18/06/24 06:53 PM

Did you mean move out without restraining order? I am afraid once this is filled I am locked out of my personal properties, documents etc. That sounds pretty miserable. I talked to both: attorney and therapist. I talked to few attorneys. One advised me to record everything she says with mini recorder (its very tiring and time consuming). We went to therapy but our most recent therapist was just enabling her bad behavior. For example when I got laid off from my dream job at FAANG, I would lay down and cry and she would go out for dance class and social dancing, leaving me sad, low and depressed. The therapist said, she should "take her of herself" and that she does not have to be there for me.

Exactly. I cannot video record her when she is furious. It will make her even more furious. I worked with my therapist on enforcing my boundaries and it only led to her being more mad. Once I cooked for her dinner (what she wanted) and she came from work, I put it on the table (I ate earlier) so she came to my sitting watching TV and just flipped the channel like no one is watching (maybe I am no one??) . I have recording on my phone as also as voice recorder that recorded for like 18 hours straight. So I got two of those. But it is super tiring to have them charged and transfer files every day. Sometimes there is glitch and it does not record. I also recorded arguments on the phone but often when press record it is missing the beginning of it because I did not know she will start it. Leaving is also not easy as it may trigger an extreme rage and we all know what consequences of it could be.

I thought of recording it a while back. It does not happen every day, but more like once per month or every few months. Also when it does happen it is usually too late to start recording. Also during that time she yells and acts out I feel an extreme pressure, anxiety and dizziness. I usually forget about recording. That is the issue. Only recordings I have are from security cameras, which sometimes do not capture motion even when they supposed to!

Is she going to change? Is she committed to make significant changes or do you just feel it was nice with her and let her have her way? Regarding prosecutor dropping charges - you can't convince them. That is their job to persecute those who break the law and they make careers out of how many people they put to ja…

I think USA is a military country that relies on war happening. That is why the government tries to convince people to join by giving them all those benefits. Also, traveling internationally, I noticed no other country gives priority boarding to veterans except US (and you need to be obviously veteran of US arm forces). Also mamy other discounts for military However, recently, all branches of military face shortages. They fail to meet recruitment targets, and even constant increase in sign-in bo…

Was it ever worth the sacrifice? When there was a threat of Hitler coming to the USA, it was worth the sacrifice. Now, IDK. Why is America involved in so many wars around the world?

Run to different countries. Get a remote job and work from there, save money, and get ready for bad times. They will not spend resources to get one guy from abroad to serve in the army. Plus they do not have jurisdiction in another country so unless you break the law they will not be able to extradite you back to the Uncle Sam's.

Actually, the military has huge shortages. They failed to fulfill assigned vacant positions because less than 23% of people at the right age are fit to serve. Too many young men are overweight, unhealthy, and overall not in a position to serve the military. Then, out of this already small pool of candidates, they have even fewer people willing to serve because modern USA does not care about men. They actually tried to entice people to join by big bonuses, etc, but it did not work. US military is…

I would start identifying myself as a woman so I won't get drafted.

Just add to it that most guys in their twenties and early thirties are single, marriage rates are plummeting, divorce rates stay as high as they were ~50% and this article just states obvious precondition to other social phenomena mentioned earlier. Based on that it will only get worse and we will face sudden and drastic population collapse unless the outcome of the upcoming war will create yanking shift on the social mentality. Otherwise men are expected to approach women (because women don't e…

They can take my spot in the army in case of WW III. I am sure many men would allow them to participate by giving away their spots during draft.

I don't see the complaints that 84% of active duty army members are men and it should be 50% women... hmmm did feminists miss on that one by accident?

I should be throwing this fact around every time I hear that women make 90 cents for every dollar men make. IIRC male performers get paid 4 times less than female performers. So, like 25 cents for every dollar, female performers make.

Because it is unpopular opinion that men are discriminated against. It is also against the interest of the toxic feminists, who want more power and domination over men. They will always throw at others terms like "wage gap", "incels", "toxic masculinity", "misogyny", "rapists" and "abusers". The last two usually bring up a sympathy towards women, but they tend to dismiss the fact that men can get raped too. Did I mentioned that if you disagree with a feminist you are then misogynist according …

We are living in a dangerous world, especially in the USA. Girls freak out that someone is going to rape or hurt her. Guys freak out girl is going to falsely accuse him of rape or abuse. It is nuts. There always will be people with ill intentions. It is definitely damaging to any potential relationship when someone thinks of you in any negative way. Being suspected of being evil is just offensive. She should keep it to herself. She should test the water and always stay safe and this applies to m…

I think problem is that we get complacent with the unfair treatment. It's not only me and you, but many men suffer discrimination as this sub shows. We can complain more or bring awareness in any other way with a goal in mind of a better future. Johny Depp v Amber Heard was one of the first steps. It shows the world that men too can be abused. Before, people would laugh at men who were abused by their wives. I feel like we need a couple of scandals where the media exposes discrimination against …

Out of respect to others in the cinema, it would rather preferable to greet the oppressor with a middle finger to avoid making disturbing others' sounds

If the gender gap claim was based on comparing apples to apples instead of apples to oranges, bananas, etc, it would have some merit. The problem is that most people believe this myth and media perpetuate it. If we could only expose the truth...
