Tons of Canadian schools use the LSAT and for many is heavily weighted part of admissions. My FIL is an attorney in Ontario. St Catharines to be exact. https://www.law.utoronto.ca/about/fact-sheet So if you were indeed serious you took the exam. what was your score? Or what school did you apply that did not require a score?

I am so so sorry. I hope that at some level you can remember that he knows he was loved by his father. And your love for him is permanent.

Schools have no choice. The DOE made sure if that several years ago.

I volunteered years ago at a PGA event as an on call EMT. I've done NASCAR, NFL, MLB games, etc. I have never seen a bigger collection of hot trophy wives (WAGs) than at a golf event. Hottest wives of any athletes I have seen. I was blown away and then realized they get to travel and stay at the most exclusive hotels and golf clubs in the country. Low numbers of groupies and their husbands can have a very long career.

Also I didn't see that it said he would do 15 years probation, but that they would take him off the sex offender registry at the age of 25. That says a LOT. You can talk to a defense attorney and they'll tell you that the registry is worse than doing time. There are guys who will easily do a couple years in trade for being off the list. It's a much longer lasting impact. His attorney doesn't care if he's innocent, he's going to explain the math on this, and what is best option is at that moment,…

In the US in higher ed? I don't think that's technically true. I don't think colleges are required to monitor students in that way. Sure, there are all kinds of affirmative duties once a student does or reports something but I don't think colleges are required to intervene in a student's life much at all, beyond offering classes. But it's not my area of expertise... You don't know what the fuck you are talking about. Happy?

No, I really didn't. Your post is quite clear to see for anyone looking. It's hardly a tirade. I thought it was hilarous that you seemed very confident in something you admitted you had no expertise. I also didn't make fun of your incredibly ignorant conclusion: "but I don't think colleges are required to intervene in a student's life much at all, beyond offering classes." It's something you don't know or understand or have been mislead. I went to a decent effort to explain why you were incorrec…

In the US in higher ed? I don't think that's technically true. . But it's not my area of expertise... Okay, this made me laugh more than a post has in a long time. I tell someone I did the job for 10 years and someone immediately tells me that what I said wasn't true. But then again they might be wrong because not their area of expertise. Ah reddit! Never change. Here's how it generally works. The DOE decides that schools must do A. They don't often say explicitly how to do it or that you have t…

That's actually a very good answer. The official answer is a higher risk for failure to persist. That often includes demographic information and statistics as well as assessments which place students in a much less likely to graduate category. Often these are independent of more traditional predictors like GPA and test scores. But it often goes well beyond that. Some students who arrive at college now never would have been able to mentally function in that environment 25 years ago. Modern drugs …

Unfortunately. Worked with higher risk university students for a decade. This train isn't even rolling yet. If she's even remotely attractive she's far from the height of her powers. She's still got the blackmail for abortion money scam yet to discover.

No. That would be easier on everybody. She'll talk some idiot into fucking her and she'll get pregnant. Then she'll use the baby as a mode of attention. Then when they doesn't work she'll ignore the baby and then go off and repeat. Then after she's got a couple kids who she's fucked up she'll then kill herself when it does the most damage.

Can we get Jessie Jackson or Al Sharoton to address the real problem in the black community? Can we knock off the vertical video? I feel like 1-2 big community leaders could really educate the populace on this issue.

I agree. I don't think any are capable of reasonable consent. "Punishment" should be counseling. A certain amount of erotic play is to be expected, but this is just a little much.

Call me old fashioned, but I don't think an 11 year old girl is capable of consenting. All three should be punished.

No., 1/2 would be gone after taxes. Then after that, you could expect between $15k-30k per year in earning. That of course would be taxed at the capital gains rate. So to live an average lifestyle you'd draw more than the money earned which slowly reduces the amount earned. Buy any toys or a house and it evaporates even faster. You'd need to start accumulating assets that were tax efficient, earned decent returns, and increase in value. Good news is that if you didnt touch it for 5 years and had…

Ha! First off, its the first source I saw in the news. Second, I don't bother with downvotes. I could give a shit what people think about the source. Laugh at TMZ, but they've broken a ton of these athlete stories.
