I agree with you that unisex bathrooms are fine, although they decrease effiency a lot as we can no longer have urinals in the bathrooms so queues will be much longer than they would have to be in separated bathrooms. I remember watching a documentary on gender that presented a study that showed that gay men are much more likely to cross their legs when sitting down and less likely to "manspread". I don't exactly know what to make of that but it could point to it being a gender difference except it's a mental biological gender difference rather than a physical one, or it could be both.
