I think most average ppl are drawn to other average ppl. Ppl tend to date in their own worlds. Most average women Ik date average men. Cuz most ppl are average lol

No idea tbh, I have never been in a position where I am like, actively trying to find sex. Been in a ltr since I was 18 and before that guys weren't into me lol

idk lots of ppl will dislike it whether it's for women or men. Personally speaking I am have a "anything goes" mindset as long as it's fiction. Idc what gender it is

as someone who has worked in customer service for a long time, I don't think it's bad as long as you're not pushy

probably so they don't have to waste their time on ppl who don't want a serious relationship. My very first relationship with my husband I told at the very beginning I only date for marriage so he could drop me if he wasn't prepared for that.

maybe it depends on where you live or family culture, but I have been to at least 4 bachelorette parties including my own, and none had strippers. I have never met anyone irl who has been to a bachelorette party that had strippers.

I think I wouldn't be an incel. If I were born male in my exact same family living in the exact same place I do, I think I would probably be fine dating-wise. Dating wouldn't rlly be my primary concern. I wouldn't be happier in general tho. I don't think I could handle being a male. I don't think I could live up to traditional gender roles. I wouldn't want the pressure of needing to be the breadwinner, working my whole life. Leading my family in the way a man should. I couldn't do what my husban…

I treat male friends different because I am attracted to men and men are mostly attracted to women. The line between emotional closeness and romance is a thin one so I try to stay far away from it in respect to my husband. Additionally I have always felt myself more naturally relaxed in the company of women. I am shy and awkward in general and it just seems to be worse with men. I don't often have emotionally deep conversations with friends at all, but especially not with male friends.

Idk, assuming the close friend or sister of the bride actually knows and cares about the bride's preferences on this matter (if they are a friend close enough to be in their bridal party), suddenly dying their hair neon green or smthn the night before the wedding seems a little like a pointed action imo. The story the prompted this thought was a bride's sister showing up day of the wedding with brand new bright purple hair she had gotten dyed the night before. The bride was upset and honestly I …

at the same time it would be hilarious to claim its just something something, like "gun guys just want to look at there guns and dont shoot them" "car guys have just the fantasy of driving a car and rather drive bus" and "people who watch cook stuff on youtube actally dont want to cook" I enjoy action movies, therefore I want to commit acts of violence. I enjoy slasher movies, therefore I want to murder ppl. I am an avid dark romance reader, and when I say dark, I mean actually dark. Not 50 shad…

I think it's valid to kick someone out of your bridal party if they make a huge physical appearance change (tattoo/dying hair) immediately before the wedding day ngl. Personally I didn't care about pics and stuff and I don't think I would care that much if someone in my party made a change like that. But Ik some women who have envisioned their wedding for ages and have specific aesthetics in mind, and I think if you're a bridesmaid or moh you should at least be considerate enough to discuss with…

I think they are. I think women tend to be better at/more experienced with recognizing what they are feeling and why. This is just based on personal experience with various men and women I know. And maybe it's a little old fashioned but I do kind of believe that the whole "women are feelers" and "men are thinkers" is true (to an extent). Probably depends on how one defines emotional intelligence also ig. Some ppl might have different views.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 07:48 AM

idk what that is
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 07:39 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 07:13 PM

Pretty much everyone is insecure about smthn, so ig no one is sweet
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 03:28 PM

Idk she seems sweet, just insecure. Very understandable feelings tbh, I feel similarly with my husband sometimes cuz he's just such a sweetheart. It's like your insecurities mix with your admiration for this person you love so much.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 02:46 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 02:42 PM

I don't talk to new ppl for the most part. As far as old friends go I just talk about life mostly. I have 2 friends and I see them maybe once every few weeks, so usually I can chat about what I/we did while we weren't seeing each other. or like just anything at all. I have wildly different interests than almost everyone I am friends with, including my own husband. I have never found it to be too detrimental to making conversation and enjoying each other's company.

I married my hs sweetheart. I had a massive crush on him in hs, and he didn't seem interested in the most part or I had thought so. After we graduated we did a movie night with a couple close friends and I made a move and ig he was into me. He said he knew I liked him before he just wasn't ready to date at that time. Anyways we dated for about 4 years before getting married, have been married for 2 years now. From the very first couple times we interacted in a explicitly romantic context I told …

/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/26 01:35 AM

There are often red flags. Passion and love blind ppl often. Tho tbh I have encountered situations where men have hid these behaviours very well. Mega regret encouraging my friend to get with a guy I'd known for years and thought was good only for him to end up abusing her. rip

I have only experienced one dick so not exactly speaking from experience, but I would assume if I couldn't feel it going in or smthn like that, it wouldn't be my preference. Realistically, basically everything "matters" to an extent. In dating and relationships it's extremely rare if not impossible to find someone who meets every preference. We prioritize and we compromise. There may be some women who find size to be a very important factor and some who don't care at all. same goes for basically…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/26 01:26 AM

I guess so. I personally have never cared but I don't have a full college degree myself, just a 2 year program
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 07:58 AM

I think there can sometimes be more stress when it comes to self-employed ppl. Insurance, benefits, pension plan etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 07:39 AM

Something a lot of men say is that men who get hookups get sex for free, meanwhile men who can only get sex in a relationship have to give up a lot in terms of time, effort, emotional availability, etc etc. I guess this is valid if the only goal of the guy is to have sex. Usually that doesn't make for a great relationship anyways, but yea if the whole relationship is just a means to an end (that end being sex) then it would probably feel to them that guys who get hookups are getting sex free whi…

This just isn't true. My dad worked 10 hours, 4 days a week, 3 day weekends every weekend my whole life. Cleared 200k easy. Also trades aren't necessarily low skill, they're very specialized at what they do. Blue collar work varies a ton in terms of hours and pay and even physical exertion depending on where one chooses to work. I agree tho that driving trains tends to be one of the tougher trades in terms of hours, but this stereotype that all trades that pay well have sucky hours isn't necessa…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/25 07:17 AM

The main issue especially working on trains is the hours and scheduling. It can be grueling when trying to start a family, although not all trades are like that. But keep in mind that adds intense strain. Other than that, maybe it depends where you live? Most guys where I live are blue collar and women here definitely don't care.

I mean I'm not trying to say 54 grams of sugar is the healthy but I do eat sugary stuff often enough to know it doesn't cause this lol. I know how my body responds to caffeine and generally avoid it for this exact reason. I think my brain was focused too much on the yummy chocolate peppermint yum part and less on the coffee aspect of mochas tho kek
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 11:03 PM

at work so can't do too much but am for sure guzzling water rn
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 10:37 PM

Somehow it didn't occur to me that a large peppermint mocha would have substantial amounts of caffeine in it. I can feel my heart beating out of my chest rn and my hands look like I have tremor 😭
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 10:11 PM

men with fulltime jobs also have friends and hobbies but they don't get to maintain those during working hours. Extra curricular activities not necessary for the function of the home are also generally considered leisure activities unless they are paid. I understand SAHW/M have lives outside of being a mom or taking care of the home and they also can be more flexible with when and how they spend their liesure hours. But a working man is contributing a full 8 hours of his time everyday (if not mo…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 09:02 PM

What are they so busy doing that they don't have time to cook a meal? Not hating, genuinely curious. I have a sister who is a SAHM with a toddler and an infant and she still cooks supper everyday and maintains an orderly home. My mom also did the same. Obv if the man wants to cook that's no problem either, but I understand why a man who works all time with his wife SAH would prefer cooking be one of her duties and I think that's a perfectly reasonable expectation. And yes obv everyone has their …
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 08:48 PM

I mean usually the cooking is part of the "inside work". I agree it's more nuanced when children are small, and need 24/7 care and supervision, but even then usually a simple meal is not that intensive and is usually considered part of home duties. If there are no kids in the picture I can't really see a valid reason for cooking to not be one of the SAH duties regularly. Obv it's up to each couple how they want to divide work, but maintaining a home these days as a SAHW (no small children or chi…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 08:38 PM

I think this is referring to a SAHM/W situation
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 08:33 PM

I'm assuming this is a situation where the wife is SAH and he's working full time. In which case I agree. Although I don't think take out once in a while is atrocious even with a SAHW/M.

I mean already often walk around shirtless in the summer so idk how u can get more revealing than that. I've never seen a woman walk around without a shirt in regular public areas. Ultimately I don't rlly care how ppl dress as long as their bits are covered. I'm not gonna say anything if a guy wants to wear a spandex skintight bodysuit with cutouts or smthn else weird, I just will think it's weird and not very attractive to me personally.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/25 02:34 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 11:33 PM

I mean tbf even if it's not the daughters fault if they had a shit father ppl with trauma obv come with more to deal with than those that don't. It's fair to say ppl who have a healthy family dynamic might be easier to start a new family with.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 06:34 PM

I think some guys are obvious bad choices but many are non obvious bad choices. I felt horrible after a friend of mine revealed to me her bf was abusive cuz I'd known the guy prior to her meeting him and had talked him up to her. I didn't exactly set them up but I thought he was a good match cuz I'd known him for a long time, attended school with him since kindergarten, worked with him for a while at our local grocery etc. He was very kind, always made a point to say hi and ask about how I'm doi…

big guys. Like stocky, mass. Obv muscle is attractive but I prefer bulk to a guy being shredded. Even overweight guys too as long as they are also strong. for faces generally I find myself draw to wide squarish/roundish faces. I'm not a fan of long faces generally speaking. I also much prefer dark hair, dark eyes, shorter hair styles. Facial hair is nice but no big beards. My husband is exactly my type.

sexual thoughts and feelings probably started around 10-11. I started reading smut fics at around 12 which kind of helped put intox perspective a lot of the stuff I knew I was into but didn't really understand. Similar to what another user talked about with non-sexual kinks I also had a fascination with imagining or playing out hostage situations, kidnapping, "torture", etc. from very very young. Hook-up material doesn't exist to me since I don't hook-up. In an imaginary world where I'd be willing to have somewhat casual sex, I don't think I'd actually do it with anyone I couldn't see myself possibly entertaining a dating relationship with. Then again, if the guy is okay with casual sex, he's probably not the type I'd date. Back at the original conundrum. I can't separate sex and romance/dating/relationships/marriage enough to truly think of a guy who's solely hook-up material. Main thin…

Yes, I said I agree for myself. But I know lots of women don't think this way.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/25 07:37 PM

well if I'm not attracted to them I wouldn't be with them romantically. So I guess forever alone
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/25 07:27 PM

men can decide to keep up the search or choose to end it once they find someone their satisfied with so it goes both ways.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/25 07:23 PM

You're extremely lucky if you found someone who checks everything you want. Vast majority ppl find someone they're truly happy with but still have to compromise on some things, or have some things that don't necessarily line up with 100% of their stated preferences. I adore my husband and I absolutely don't have any regrets choosing him as my partner, but we still have things about each other that can cause minor annoyances or aren't a perfect ideal. Most ppl recognize that in the long run that …
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/25 07:22 PM

someone that isn't as attractive as I want assuming I still find them attractive. As long as he passes the threshold nothing really matters. I'll likely still be just as into him sexually and romantically.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/25 07:18 PM

Well you settled down with him. At some point you decided he's who you want to be with and ended the search. That's settling.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/25 07:17 PM

I agree with this for myself, but Ik not all women think like this. If I truly just wanted a hook-up my standards would be way lower because all I'm looking for is a fuck, not a lifetime together. I don't need a 10/10 prince charming if I'm just looking to get myself off.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/25 07:15 PM

Whether I view it differently than a woman using it, honestly yea probably. I can't say I have a logical or fair way to justify it but in my mind, woman using sex toys generally = sexy, and men using sex toys generally = pathetic. It's not fair, and ultimately it's of little consequence given I've personally never owned nor used a sex toy and neither has my husband. But where the idea of sex toys for me(specifically vibrators and such, I have no interest in dildos) interests me to some degree, t…

hard to rate myself, I enjoy socializing and can't be alone for long without going crazy but I have horrible social anxiety and struggle to make new friends. As a result I mostly just hang out with family and existing close friends at my or their homes when I can. Usually I say I am introverted, because most of my time is spent at home not socially interacting, but I also feel depressed without good ppl interaction.

Probably could vary based on the situation, but with my husband it's never caused me to lose respect for him. I've seen him cry many times (albeit not as much as he's seen me cry). Aside from just crying, him being able to communicate what he's feeling and what's on his mind is hugely helpful for problem solving and conflict resolution. I think for some women who lose respect over that it's just them being toxic and petty. In some cases also women want to view their partner as a solid rock to le…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/25 12:16 AM

well you are significantly younger and apparently you even appear younger than your actual age, so he does and is the type to do that. Also Idk the age of his friend but I assume to much older ppl who aren't in that life stage, being able to tell apart late-teens and early twenties to mid twenties would be ome more difficult, so if the friend is also an older man it would make sense he wouldn't be able to guess your age as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 08:49 PM

well tbh after hearing your guy is old af it makes more sense he'd think that. If your husband is the type to go after very young women, who's to say even younger than you is out of the question. I still feel like the conversation is just being jokey tho since ur husband literally referred to you as "aging out" lol
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 08:26 PM

are you sure it wasn't a joke, the whole convo sounds jokey. It just seems like a nice way to say you're looking good and young

Imo it totally depends on the couple. My ring was 3k and the wedding band 1k. I feel like that was pretty reasonable given our life stage and I absolutely adore my rings. I don't like big diamonds our gaudy jewelry. I do like that my rings still feel valuable and required some degree of sacrifice from my partner as I personally feel it's meaningful. I think if you know your partner well, you'll know how much they would expect or if they even care about the dollar value. If you guys aren't aligne…

I don't rlly care about that. I desire sex way more than my husband so I am used to frequently putting my needs aside to not pressure him. I would get bothered by him seeking other means for sexual satisfaction when I'm there and willing.

I partake in both tbh, but moreso smut. Personally I find I engage in smut very differently than I do porn. For one I don't usually read smut oneshots (short stories solely for the purpose of a sex scene). I usually read full stories that include smut scenes. If I'm not into the plot, characters, narrative, I'm likely not into the smut that much either. I like books and stories with steamy scenes with a lot of emotional weight. When I watch porn usually I just want a quick fix and it kinda feels…

Assuming they've both changed from who they were previously to a person I would want to date now, either would be fine. I might lean towards incel given a guy being an incel doesn't necessarily mean they've done anything I morally disagree with. The problem I have with some incels is more their mindset, not necessarily just being unable to get sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/25 05:46 PM

No, you think your husband is certain because you're certain. I spend my time on PPD, I have had this conversation pre-marriage with him lol. He does trust me and he thought it was strange I even brought it up lol. Believe it or not, a lot of guys do not get paternity tests when they have a baby with their wife because they trust their wives have been faithful. There are red flags in every relationship that's being overlooked. If you'd end a relationship as soon as you encounter a red flag, your…

Trust is something you earn, it's not a default. He shouldn't blindly trust you and you shouldn't blindly trust him, that's just stupid. What do you think I've been doing the past 5 years bruv. I don't blindly trust him and he doesn't blindly trust me. I've known him almost 9 yrs at this point, and we've been thru a ton of shit together. Of course I trust him. I know he trusts me as well. This whole situation is hypothetical, my actual husband wouldn't ask me for a paternity test lol. Because he…

The only possible reason for the baby to not be his is if I cheated on him. So even if I did nothing to rouse his suspicions, he's evidently still suspicious of me. It absolutely is about me, who else would it be about? Your husband has had experience with false paternities, fraudulent or not, and doesn't want to fall in that pit. If he has genuine trauma about this and it was an absolute requirement for any child he has, I would like to know that before marrying him and before him impregnating …

I feel like my answer is implied lmao If their husband is not abusive and shows no indication of being abusive, I don't think it's good unless they're both doing it for emergency reasons lol. A go-bag for the sole reason of distrusting a person (assuming they have given no reason to distrust them) communicates that you don't trust them to not abuse you. If someone is at the point where they feel the need to keep a go-bag, they should probably just "go".
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/24 03:47 PM

If you asked for a maternity test, would you be accusing the hospital of having switched your baby? Sure, that's the only conceivable reason for asking for one. People have no issue with women have go-bags hidden from their husbands in case they turn abusive. You're assuming I have no problem with this. Your husband would be doing this for his own protection. My husband can do whatever he likes. But the fact of the matter is, I'm not a cheater. I know that the baby is his. As long as he believes…

/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/24 05:33 AM

My sisters are both married to carpenters, although more the construction kind rather than the wood art kind. Technically one of them isn't explicitly a carpenter, he just does odd construction jobs, carpentry inclusive. I don't think either of them particularly struggled to find a partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/24 05:09 AM

I agree that paternity fraud is a horrible thing to do. But that's different from refusing a paternity test. If my husband wants a paternity test, I can't really stop him. I have every right to feel hurt by that decision tho if he had no real reason to suspect me of cheating. Asking for a paternity test, especially with no forewarning or reason for suspicion, is a baseless accusation of cheating. So the consequences will be the same as if he straight-up accused me of sleeping with another man (b…

I don't know. I know Charisma is huge in terms of dating. It can carry you a long way if you're lacking in other areas, I've seen it before. But yea it's intangible, hard to define, and an even harder skill to build. I think a lot of the ppl who rlly use charisma as a major strength tend to be naturally charismatic as part of their personality. I'm also very not charismatic and have other social issues, so I have no clue how ppl develop those skills lol.

I'm more of a manga girlie tbh. I like the anime mostly due to nostalgia and attachment to the story and characters, I don't think the anime was executed very well in comparison to what's in the manga which is unfortunate.

/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/24 08:37 PM

well tbf, I could see some incentive for not wanting paternity test if you're a sperm donor. That being said, I thought they could only "match" to another sample for paternity tests. Can it be used to find a sperm donor too?

I do that too. I was watching home videos the other day from the yr when I first got my favourite stuffie and I would carry him around everywhere (I was 4 then, now 22). He looked so new and shiny. Nowadays he looks so worn out the difference is kind of nuts.

Yea idk, we only started adding it to the roster when My BIL married my sister. Honestly I'm not a huge fan, it is very similar to those weird fruit salads. My family loves it tho. And like, we're "Ukrianian" but actual Ukrianians from Ukriane are so distantly related to us at this point it's rlly not a core part of our identity. I think I'm like 4th or 5th generation immigrant lol

I asked my family and they said the wheat salad is a Ukrainian dish, but I checked and while Ukrainians do have a wheat salad dish, it's seems to be very different from what we make lmao (obviously what we have is modernized and simpler to make but it's different beyond just that). The recipe we have is from my BIL's family and they are also Ukrainian tho. Culture is weird tho so I think our recipe is just a product of cultures merging and changing overtime. Our families have been in Canada a lo…

I don't think you need to be that rich to afford a SAHM. Like there is definitely a level of income in between "absolutely needs a second source of income" and "can afford hired help". Not to mention childcare cam be stupid expensive
/r/PurplePillDebate23/12/24 09:47 PM

It honestly tastes more like a dessert (I'm not a huge fan tbh but most of my family members really like it.) It's kind of like a fruit salad but with wheat berries. It's my brother and his wife who makie it usually but I think it's like cream cheese, cool whip, crushed canned pineapple, mixed with wheat berries. Maybe some other ingredients.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/12/24 09:44 PM

Also, uhhh, I feel like being able to afford human staff is quite a jump from your average SAHM household. Like, that's a completely different financial situation lol.

/r/PurplePillDebate23/12/24 09:30 PM

I feel like ppl didn't rlly appreciate my Christmas meal so I'm posting my Thanksgiving meal this yr. It's most of the same stuff but it's laid out better <image> This one has Wheat salad and is missing the Perishke (rip) from last Christmas
/r/PurplePillDebate23/12/24 09:29 PM

My oldest sister was born in 1995 and I turned 18 in 2020. My mom never rlly worked after her firstborn except for a part time research job for a couple yrs in my late teens. She didn't get the job cuz my family needed it or my dad wanted her to, it was just that the opportunity fell into her lap and she wasn't that busy.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/12/24 09:25 PM

I had a SAHM even when me and all my siblings were going to school. She undoubtedly lived a very nice life, but it was also nice to have a mom who was always accessible. Plus she was super involved and when we weren't at school she was always driving us to games, practice, music lessons, rehearsals etc. Once we were older and could drive ourselves obviously thing would be easier but by the time I (the youngest) could drive myself, she had spent 23 years being an amazing and very present mom, so …

I'm so frustrated. We get a half hour lunch break but our lunch room is a tiny little kitchenette with one small table and two chairs. My colleague has been sitting there for like over an hr at this point and my lunch is now over (he's supposed to go before me). I wanted to munch on the Christmas chocolates over my lunch break but it's so awkward to sit there when someone is in there already 😭
/r/PurplePillDebate23/12/24 08:39 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate23/12/24 08:31 PM

It's not normal and it's a problem. You're going to drive yourself crazy this way and I don't think such things should be normalized or accepted. You're absolutely allowed to want it, but it's still dumb
/r/PurplePillDebate23/12/24 08:29 PM

I don't rlly know what you mean. I work full time. The problem isn't how much work tho, it's the work itself. I'm very not suited to it

It's a no then. I thought it was like frozen soup
/r/PurplePillDebate23/12/24 08:27 PM

I was gonna make gingerbreads and shortbreads after work today, but there is so much other stuff stressing me out I think I will just stick to shortbreads and maybe something else a bit less intensive than gingerbread cookies. My husband is so sweet and helpful running around doing a lot of the shopping today and he's told me we'll take some time to relax tonight while wrapping presents together 😊

Agree with all of those except picky eaters cuz I'm also a picky eater (as long as he's not whiney about it tho)
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/24 04:35 PM

probably easier to find a woman who actually prefers a smaller penis than to find a woman who prefers a shorter man. doubt tbh
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/24 04:14 PM

I'm more thinking in terms of just plain body and sexual insecurity. With breast size or ass size, there is almost always reliably a large population of men who have an active preference for whatever isn't traditionally popular. While there are men who can prefer small tits, I don't think there are women who legitimately prefer small dicks unless it's like a kink thing (rare kink anyways). While I totally believe there are a lot of women who don't rlly care or are just happy with any dick, I don…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/24 06:34 AM

Very early in my relationship with my husband I slipped out a "when we get married..." or smthn like that rather than "if" and I felt a bit awkward. I don't think my now husband noticed or if he did, I don't think he cared since we were rlly intense from the get-go. Ik I would probably just feel happy if he had viewed me as a future wife. I even liked when he referred to me as wife jokingly to buddies or whatever. Other then feeling embarrassed over being too presumptuous that marriage is a for-…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/24 06:14 AM

men should learn how to wield their swords skillfully in sex lmfao, I love this phrasing. Tbh tho, I feel bad for men on the dick thing. I feel there really isn't an equivalency female body insecurity that really captures what it would feel like for a man to have dick insecurity.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/24 06:07 AM

Me and my husband talked about marriage a lot pre-marriage, why would it be taboo or awkward? Unless you mean like very early relationship or smthn. I feel like marriage is a very natural thing to come up in long term relationship. Although personally I talked about marriage and husband expectations from the very start with my man before getting in too deep. I think it's a bit of a waste i vesting in a person who's not compatible for marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/24 06:04 AM

Yea I feel like it's toxic feminism and this chick is radicalized. Again I think it sounds just as dumb coming from a woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 10:34 PM

cuz piv is the best lol. Most women ik feel this way
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 10:17 PM

A lot of my sex drive comes from just the desire to be close and intimate with my husband, not necessarily needing a sexual release. I can't really relate to a man needing sex so bad due to pure horniness (wanting casual sex, or being willing to pay for sex), but I can relate to the emotional weight of the lack of intimacy. I can't speak for all women, but I think a lot of women are more sexually motivated by emotions, how a man makes them feel, intimacy, etc. rather than just the physical feeli…
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 10:16 PM

I mean I think women view orgasms differently than men tho. I think men often view orgasms as the "goal" of sex so they immediately think PIV must not be enjoyable if the woman can't orgasm from it. Like there is way more to sex than just orgasms although orgasms def are involved.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 10:04 PM

I've never framed that? I really enjoy PIV
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/24 09:57 PM

The reason I wont have sex is because I don’t want a man to have power over me and I just lay there and take it just to please him (I just found out women don’t even enjoy PIV or sex and most are faking it, and it seems from my friends and most women that pretty much all men are selfish and don’t care if you orgasm or enjoy it. I’m not doing something I wont enjoy.) A lot of talk for a virgin. Tbh she sounds just as radicalized as some of the men in these spaces and it sounds just as dumb coming…

/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/24 03:53 PM

I peg him
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/24 03:50 PM

Sometimes when I'm on a date with my husband I wonder if ppl look or listen in and make assumptions. Like we often talk about very strange things to the point where my husband asks me to lower my voice sometimes (I'm usually the one saying weird shit tbh), or he'll drone on about his games in details that go beyond me. Or we'll sometimes be looking at our phones or just rlly quiet if we don't have much to talk about.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/24 06:50 PM

not that unusual
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/24 06:46 PM

I've never been hit on by a guy, but I did have a homeless guy ask me to buy him smthn and I said sorry I can't today (he wanted to stand in line with me at the cafe and order him something since I don't have cash on me, and I was very uncomfortable with that idea plus I didn't have time). He got rlly mad and yelled loudly that I'm selfish 😩 Feels bad man but also made me even less inclined to help him out
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/24 06:44 PM

I would be upset. i don't rlly think I would be dating this guy in the first place cuz he sounds unenthusiastic about me, but if I was, it would be over as soon as he said "I have more important things to spend my time and money on". Like ahem, pray tell what? It's not even about money necessarily. I don't require my partner to take me on fancy dates all the time or spend a ton of money, but I do want my partner to be enthusiastic in his own way. In this example he didn't even want to text me or…
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/24 06:23 PM

I haven't had a good friend who's single in a while tbh. Even my one nutty radical feminist friend has found someone to settle down with in the last year and a half or so. And my other high school friend who dated like half the class back then has only had two long term relationships since high school from what ik of.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/24 04:27 AM

My mom's best friend was like that, 58 now and still never had a relationship or dated anyone. My mom tried to teach her to flirt once too she told me haha. She never said she was opposed to dating or relationships or having a family as a whole, but she had different priorities and said it would take a very incredible guy to sway her. She never met anyone she felt it was worth it for tho, so she continued being single and seems very happy and content with her life. Me and my sibling always viewe…

But if it had been a first date just getting to know someone, I don't know if I'd have that same enthusiasm unless it went superbly well. So y…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/24 07:35 PM

To me ick is just that eugh feeling you get when someone does smthn cringe, annoying, off-putting, or that just rlly turns me off. Imo it doesn't have to be specific to average guys or even potential partners in general.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/24 05:58 PM

Idk, sometimes I see the notification or open it up, and think "Ah I'll respond to that once I'm finished xyz" and then I just forget until they double text and then I feel bad and panic text back. Or it also commonly happens when I'm anxious or unsure of how to respond (happens to me often) so I keep putting it off until they double text and then I feel bad and panic text back.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/24 05:56 PM

Yea, I mean if they were "attractive" and icked me out or was just an awful person, I may still be able to recognize them as "attractive", but I wouldn't be attracted to them anymore. But yea if I was already on the fence about them obviously it's be easier to ick me out.

my dad got a double decker grave and his name is on the stone already, so I don't think a second marriage would make a difference in where we bury him. Also typically if they had children together, it would be the children who decide rather than the brother I would think (Assuming old enough to have adult children). I feel like a sibling deciding would only be in the case where every other adult immediate family member is deceased or unwilling.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/24 08:11 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/24 06:55 AM

Man I had to google what that is a nickname for. I know ppl can name children nicknames without using the full name but for some reason I always think it needs to be tied to a full name(eg. my friend wants to name her girl Charlie but I always default to thinking it's short for Charlotte) Results I got for Barry is Bartholomew kek. Probably better to stick to the nickname only lol
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/24 06:54 AM

I really wish I could name my child after a videogame character but it just feels wrong lmao. My new last name after marriage is so basic a million ppl have it. It's def like 10× easier to spell/pronounce/remember than my old last name tho so there are perks kek
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/24 06:51 AM

My best friend is dating ltr a guy and both their names start with "K" so for a while she had planned on naming all their kids starting with "K". I think she's over it now tho. It's funny cuz ik of another family who did a similar naming scheme (except with J instead of K) and 2/3 children go by their middle name except first name now lol

Well that's good it doesn't affect you too much. I think it's interesting how some ppl choose to go by their middle name instead of first. I never rlly considered that as an option until too late (I somewhat prefer my middle name) but ik some ppl who's parents explicitly gave them the option to choose at some point
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/24 06:27 AM

Interesting. I never call ppl by nicknames unless they specifically state that's what they prefer tbh. Do ppl tend to call you Jamie by default? Fwiw, I think Jamie is a nice name even for a boy. May I ask what game the character is from?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/24 06:22 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/24 06:17 AM

i totally agree with the classics. My boy names are Alexander, Thomas (Tom) And Marcus so. Our first son we plan to name Thomas Alexander [insert last name here] which my peers have said sounds like the name of a founding father kek

/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/24 06:13 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/24 06:07 AM

I guess maybe my hope is if I name them that they’ll be a bit rough and tumble like I am hahha, same tbh. Tbh I should probably keep myself from naming my daughter solely because of my daughter headcanon, but it's just so fun. I actually have an girl OC named Frankie, I just think the name is soo cute. And yes OC is absolute a badass who defies gender norms in a lot of ways

/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/24 05:45 AM

aww my little cousin is named Penelope. We call her Penny for short. I lovveee Xander, but I always associate it with the Fire Emblem character so I don't want to have to tell my child I named him after a videogame character kek

Bruh, shaving makes me feel more itchy and causes break outs and other skin irritation. I don't care about your personal preferences because mine is different. Again I have a friend who also prefers the feeling of shaving but for me it just causes more discomfort, especially when it comes to physical activity. I don't care that you shower everyday and use deo. Most ppl do that and it has nothing to do with shaving or not shaving so idk how this is relevant at all.

I know it's not an essential part of hygiene like showers but still, it makes deodorant stick less and creates more sweat and by extension more odors and bacteria. Proper hygienic habits can counteract this. Bathing/showering should absolutely include washing everything including areas more prone to grunge/sweat/bacteria build-up. I think calling not shaving unhygienic is a bit overblown as you can absolutely keep adequately clean without shaving armpits. Someone could say encouraging women to h…

I think the biggest problem is ppl jumping on it as soon as they even hear about an age gap. I definitely think there are situations of manipulation, and that it can happen both ways, but it's not every single age gap relationship. And we shouldn't accuse one way or another without more details. I do think generally if the man is a literal senior citizen there are red flags for elder abuse and vice versa if the woman is barely an adult and the man is a mature adult, there some more red flags. I do understand their are fraud situations. Most romance scams are completely virtual and the men who fall for them are usually very old and low-key shouldn't be on the internet since they're easily victimized by fraudsters (not exclusively romance scams either). I feel like that's a very different type of age gap relationship given it's not even a real relationship lol. Or there are elder abuse situations as well but that's not rlly what I am referring to here But men aged mid thirties to late …

depends how big the age gap. Also let's be real, in most of the ones that are more based on utility, the man is getting what he wants too. I find it hard to view a mature adult as a poor naive victim in most cases.

Kind of confusing question cuz I feel it's more of the same. The main difference is that if I have no possibility of being attracted to them (family members, men too outside of dating age range) then looks matter a lot less. For other men, you could think of my attraction like a spectrum. The less I like of them, the less attracted I'll be. The more factors I like, the more attracted I would be. So it's weird to think about men I'm explicitly not attracted to because it either means I just like …

Really destroy the trust I have in him. I wouldn't divorce but I would feel betrayed for sure
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/24 07:57 PM

I wouldn't like my husband hiding it from me but I also wouldn't like him doing it in the first place.

I think as a married couple it's important to have sex and intimacy, but there does need to be consent. I think it's okay for a husband to be upset and frustrated by lack of intimacy from a partner, just as I would be if my husband refused intimacy with me. I also think if she/he is continually completely unwilling there needs to be work done by both of them to rectify the issue and understand what the root of the problem is. So I guess I think they are entitled as in they do deserve that from t…

I feel like with me and my husband the rule is touching is always allowed unless otherwise specified in particular situations. It'd be pretty weird if he felt the need to ask every time he wanted to smack my butt in passing or cuddle me in bed. But I know if I ever asked him to stop touching me for a while for whatever reason, he would honour that. I've never needed to though.

I'm married to him and I vowed till death do I part. I wouldn't passively do what he says tho, I would want to peg down the reason why all these changes are being demanded. This kind of thing would be extremely out of character so I would want to get to the bottom of it.

Uhh... I'd probably ask for couples counseling lmao If it's absolutely the only way to keep him from leaving me, yea I could definitely delete it. Exception for reddit tho. I could delete my account but I like to look up reviews and read posts for videogames and other fandoms. I don't necessarily need the ability to comment or post tho. And for discord, I would find it very odd for him to request that because the main reason I have it is to communicate with him and our irl friend group (I initia…

Reality of life
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/24 02:37 AM

life insurance is pretty straight forward though assuming you're healthy at the time you get it. My dad got a decent payout from my mother's life insurance when she passed nott hat he really needed it. If he had been the one who had died instead of her he said she would never have had to work a day for the rest of her life.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/24 02:32 AM

life insurance in case of death. With good financial planning we could also have an emergency fund in case of job loss. Also I am in a significantly less risky boat because I have a very strong support system. My family would never let me and my kids live out in the streets lol

They could. Chad didn't cheat on her tho..But I could definitely see someone not wanting to date Extreme attractive men because of bad past experiences of disloyalty.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 11:20 PM

The downside is how he feels about his height, not how she feels about his height. My mom crossed crossed short men off her dating checklist after dating a guy a head shorter than her and he was insecure af and cheated on her. Sometimes it's not to do with attraction and more about the baggage that comes with it
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/24 11:02 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/24 08:16 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/24 08:12 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/24 07:46 PM

Just go for it tbh. I don't think I'd be super put off if a customer asked for my number, even if I wasn't interested. I'd just decline and that's that. I'd probably be flattered too. Worst that happens is she turns you down. Best case scenario she's also interested and you can go from there.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/24 03:13 PM

will never compete with the late night customer I had who showed me his pokemon card collection, sorry. Jk, jokes aside it sounds like you two have some good chemistry, but also be aware that when someone is working a customer service position, they have an obligation to be kind and polite. Not necessarily saying that's the case here. I have a friend who ended up married to a guy she met at drive thru at her work, so these things happen.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/24 03:06 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/24 03:46 PM

Yes cope. I mean being optimistic it might have slightly conditioned you to think that way more than others, but ultimately it has to do with personal values and character. I know plenty of attractive ppl who choose to value and cherish their relationships and not see them as dispensable. And then ik average men who when they finally find someone, they don't value them and just continually chase the next better partner.

/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/24 08:26 PM

well you're equating looks to attraction. Women being less stimulated by looks doesn't mean they're less interested altogether. It just means other factors have heavier weight in the equation.

Imo if they're only attracted to boys who do drugs and are misogynistic, and actively rude and antagonistic to someone who is polite and kind and not misogynistic, they are severely lacking in the maturity required to be marriage material
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/24 08:03 PM

I would criticize his preference for immature women lol. Like if he's so marriage minded, why does he want to get with a bunch of immature teen girls who do drugs? There's no guarantee those women will magically turn into marriage material when they get older. He should be looking for someone who is marriage material, not someone he hopes will be marriage material (if he truly wants to marry a high school sweetheart). If he can't find anyone like that while he's in high school, he should wait un…

I'd tell him to not be so hasty to get married (I wouldn't approve of my child dating in high school anyways). He shouldn't be going for girls who are gladly dating druggies and by extension probably doing drugs anyways. He should be going for women of good character who can appreciate him and what he stands for. Even if those women are more rare, it's important that he values himself enough to wait for a partner that will be good to him and deserving of him. If he's not being appreciated by his…

I've never walked away from a relationship personally. That being said, I think early on in a relationship it would be the most easy to walk away as you haven't had as much time to form such strong bonds. I have seen both men and women drop things early in the relationship because that's when it's easiest. I don't rlly notice the phenomenon of women doing it more than men. Perhaps as a man who's had it happen to you, you notice it more as a "woman" thing. I guarantee you women who have felt slig…

/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/23 06:12 AM

Are you normal? Do you hate men?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/23 06:10 AM

Yea my bf cried quite a bit at my mother's funeral and at the hospital, and he was with me when she passed on couple months ago. Definitely not the first time he's cried in front of me tho. Sorry for your loss.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/23 11:06 PM

good on you 👍
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/23 05:40 PM

I was saying what I thought a good first date was, not that everyone should do it as a first date lol. For the average person a modest dinner date is relatively inexpensive and gives you an opportunity to get to know each other.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/23 05:26 PM

"also it's not crazy expensive" I frequently pay for meals with my friends and bf. It's one dinner, it's usually not gonna break the bank. It's not like you're buying a hundred dollar steak. If it's too expensive, do smthn different then.

I loved my mom to pieces, but she was still a bit lazy sometimes. Or at least in comparison to my Dad who was a work horse. My mom was always a bit messy clutter wise, but she still always made sure there was a meal on the table, did our laundry, made sure the dishes got done, and drove us to all of our activities and appointments and school and whatnot. Also did all the shopping for the household and Christmas and birthday gifts and whatnot. In comparison to my dad tho 😬 My dad is literally con…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/23 05:06 PM

I mean role reversed here, but if it was a frequent problem that my man wasn't into sex often, I would at least expect him to try to examine why not and look into how we can help it. Like if I'm gonna commit to only one guy for sex for life he at least should want to have sex with me on a regular basis.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/23 05:01 PM

Yea I've never rlly experienced that kind of dating ngl. My only bf was a good friend before we got together. I'm not super picky so theoretically I think most things would be fine as long as the guy is genuinely likable. But ig if the goal is the most success with women. possible, there would be certain strats that work better than other.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/23 04:57 PM

I guess so. I take relationships really slowly tho, so for me it would be nice. That is if I liked coffee lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/23 04:46 PM

Tbh the only times I've actually sat around in a coffee shop is to hang out with friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/23 04:01 PM

That's fair, it gives you an out which is nice
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/23 02:12 PM

I think the best first date would be a modest dinner at a decent restaurant and maybe a walk in a public area. Not too extremely fancy but also not too unromantic. Granted this is coming from someone who has never rlly experienced traditional dating, but I think this is what I would like if I had.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/23 02:04 PM

If they don't want me there, they can say that. They haven't though, so I keep going. You are the one who self inserted you and your bf when no one asked. I do have to commned you for using the maun pourpose of the sub to justify but within the context of the convo, what you said was "a bit unnecessary. I mean is any of this necessary. I do not act this way around men especially my friends we basically bond by arguing with each other and saying the most deranged and unpredictable insults to each others face and laughing it off. Yea this is more the vibe of our friend group lol. I mean it's not pure chaos the whole time, but any sense of chivalry or properness is basically thrown out the window when we get together. I mean this is probably part of the reason why I have no relationships lol Not necessarily. I mean maybe for some…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/23 01:43 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/23 01:38 PM

Also obligatory "no one asked about your bf" comment. damn, seems a bit unnecessary on a public forum meant to discuss dating dynamics, but okay 😅 A) if you invite yourslef to there hangout sessions He used to specifically invite me and at this point it's just kind of assumed I'm always coming so he doesn't rlly ask specifically anymore. I consider his friend my own friend, and during the school year he lives out of town, so I always want to see him when he's back in town. My bf does get alone t…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/23 01:37 PM

He usually invites me. He gets tons of bro time, he just prefers it over voice call/video chat and gaming. If it's hanging out irl, it's almost always gonna be a group thing if our friend group is available. His one guy friend is just a lot more reliable than our other two friends, so it usually ends up just being the three of us.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/23 01:26 PM

You don't need to be sorry lol. Everyone has their preferences. And yea it makes more sense if you especially didn't like this chick very much
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/23 01:24 PM

I guess so. I'm a fairly non intimidating woman ig, seeing as I'm probably more likely to clam up around new ppl than anything lol. But that's fair. Would be smthn good to work on getting over.

after my parents hit 50 it got a lot harder to keep track. Same with all my siblings hitting 20. Idk maybe I have too much rocking around in my brain these days to think about dates all that much.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/23 01:22 PM

I don't rlly like coffee or cheescake.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/23 01:19 PM

Interesting. Whenever my bf hangs out with his best mate, if I'm available I almost always come along. I mean at this point I consider his friend a good friend of my own. I'd always welcome my friends bringing along partners to things unless there was rlly some specific reason I want them alone.

I don't rlly feel a particular way attraction wise to my friend's partners, ngl. I can't recall them having dated anyone I find unattractive or wouldn't date myself (strictly appearance wise) but I've also never thirsted after any of them. It's hard for me to think of them that way when they're in a relationship. Usually they're dating guys I don't know very well anyways, so there's not much to go off of

I literally never said men were making this stuff up. I just said it's not the case every single time like men want to make it out to be. Selective reading much
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/23 11:59 PM

Let me clarify. I mean to say the second guy doesn't look as bad as the poster was insinuating he looka imo. Not that he looks better than Mr. punchface. Mr. punchface is obv conventionally attractive, he just has one of those faces y'know

I'm just saying I don't really care about men with this mindset. Other people can dump other people for whatever reason they want. If you really wanted me to expand, I would say it really depends on the woman's mindset. Whether she actually has different allowances for different men based on attraction or whether her tastes have simply changed as she's matured and has become more relationship oriented. I'm sure in some cases it's the latter and in some cases it's the former. I think men who assu…

You can try to counter it but you'll never change my mind.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/23 10:07 PM

Yea, Neither me or any of my siblings were allowed to date as teenagers. Nthn really came of it, we just dated when we were older and not raging with hormones instead.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/23 10:06 PM

I think teenage relationships are dumb.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/23 10:04 PM

I probably could yes. Idk if it's rlly necessary, but if the person is rlly not getting the point, then maybe. No one wants to be in a position where they have a child they can't properly provide for. I would hope even the person in that situation would be willing to advise against doing what they did lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/23 09:58 PM

Here's the thing. I get it. I really do. But it's still stupid to me. Like I value a man who values sex and intimacy in committed relationships, preferably marriage. If he wants the "just for fun" experience, he likely doesn't value sex to the same degree I do. There are no men who are "just for fun" material to me. You're either marriage material or you're nothing. So if a man got offended from me calling him marriage material because I'm somehow implying I don't find him that attractive, he's …
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/23 09:56 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/23 09:50 PM

I mean it sounds like a normal progression for a situation like that. I would wish the best for her. Idk I still don't feel comfortable judging without getting to know her. As long as her kid is being provided for and she's working and stuff to help contribute, that's good.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/23 09:50 PM

How old is she now? Where did she go from there? Is she maintaining the same behaviours? I think she made poor decisions, although I'm glad she didn't abort and took responsibility for the pregnancy. But what is she doing now? I don't know, so I reserve judgement on her as a person.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/23 09:40 PM

Not based solely on them being a single mom. If I don't know the context, it's difficult to be a judge. Even then, I'm mostly judging past decisions. I'm not gonna treat them differently or unfairly in day to day life because they made mistakes or had poor judgement in partners. For all I know, they've taken the time to learn from their mistakes and mature. If it's someone I know more well and they are still making poor decisions and not reflecting on it, and especially if that is affecting the …

Difference 1 (Housing): Regarding housing. For the second brother, if he lives in the same city, or at least somewhat near to my family, I don't mind if we can't move. I also like being close to family. If he lives very far away from my family, this would be a problem. Difference 2 (Sexual experience): I would prefer brother B. Depends on the job. I could never handle anything too thrilling like being a cop or smthn like that, but I guess I could do manual labour. Trucking I could also do.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/23 04:17 PM

Yea, legally speaking he is. I'm more talking about how he perceives the situation and whether he wants to actually identify with that or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 06:06 PM

Yea that's fair. Like realize what was wrong about the situation and leave it to him to decide how he wants to process that.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 06:05 PM

Yea, my Grandma had a large age difference with her husband, and I'm sure a lot of ppl would have pushed the victim label onto her, but they had a really good marriage. Granted in this case it's actually illegal which is a bit different, but I still think it's kind of up to him whether he wants to consider himself a victim or not, even if legally speaking he is. Manager still should have waited, but it is what it is I guess.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 06:04 PM

Yea, I don't think it's good that it happened and it's still wildly inappropriate. But yea, idk how much good rubbing it in his face is if he never rlly thought much more on it.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 05:58 PM

Not saying it's appropriate or should have happened. Just thinking about whether it really benefits him to tell him he should feel hurt by it if he doesn't.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 05:57 PM

Well yes, it's messed up. And manager shouldn't have obv, she should have been more responsible. I'm just thinking like, if he doesn't view himself as a victim, or at least doesn't view himself as having been caused harm by the situation, is it rlly something we need to push on him. Like this is hin telling the story retrospectively, so I assume he's had time to think about it and confront uncomfortable feelings if he needs to.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 05:56 PM

I was thinking about this the other day. There was a reddit story reposted to insta about some guy when he was 15 having sexual relationships with his manager who was 50. Now obv this is illegal, and whatever. That aside, bro was telling the story like "haha it's wild this happened but it was hot af" A bunch of comments in response were women being like "These poor men don't even know they're a victim, patriarchy blah blah". Which again, is fair because he was a minor and the older manager shoul…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 05:49 PM

It is nice. The modern dating world is not for me, I'm more into the friends to lovers arc. But after high school, that seems harder and harder to achieve.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 05:42 PM

What are the communication issues? What do you mean by lack of inclusion? Like they actively avoid or ignore her, or they just chat and she never interjects? I'm pretty awkward and quiet with ppl I don't know well, so usually when I go out with my bf and his friends, I mostly just listen in. It doesn't rlly bother me, but I'm sure sometimes ppl think I'm being excluded.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 05:40 PM

I mean by 40, it's fair to expect you know what you want lol. That doesn't necessarily mean a rich casanova, but like, I'm 21 and know what I want. If there's someone who's 40 and still waffling that's pretty unimpressive and obv a woman who knows what she wants isn't going to be interested.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 05:34 PM

I already now you are not traditional, so obv this wouldn't apply to you.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 02:50 PM

roommate chick sounds like my sister lol
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 02:28 PM

I'm not saying you're guaranteed to find a wife, and obv the house thing has changed with the times. Even if you can't afford a house, you will at least be able to make some decent savings and develop your career. A guy making good money is attractive. Especially for a lot of these guys who claim they want a traditional girl. I don't think you're screwing yourself over by taking a bit of time to focus on your career and stability, which is a major thing trad women are looking for.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 02:26 PM

damn, go easy on a girl 😩 Granted, I have a bf, I just made the first move myself.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 01:35 PM

Idk, my dad chose to keep away from dating until he had worked and saved enough to provide for a family reliably. Then he dated my mom at 26, got married, and bought a house outright. Not a bad way to go about it. I think it's a good thing if a man focuses on his ability to provide before looking for a woman. I'm very traditional tho, so obviously that appeals to me maybe more than the average woman.

I would be very upset he lied to me. If he truly had a change in heart and in his outlook on life, he would have been truthful with me about his past to begin with. The lying and broken trust is the biggest issue in this whole scenario, it would take a lot to build that back up. Also, certain things like not having a wedding celebration, or not remembering important dates, or not doing sweet things for me, not having sex with me, etc. I don't think I'd marry someone who isn't actively showing th…

I've never been asked out before ( I initiated things with my now bf after a long friendship ). some ppl care and some ppl don't. I'm not even a guy and I would care if my man had a ton of history before getting with him. Just because you don't care and your peers don't, doesn't mean you can blanket statement that over everybody.

There's probably some super scientific explanation that explains how the genetic odds and gender and height all interact, but even then, it's still just playing with odds. I don't necessarily think you're making your odds worse by getting with a tall guy if you want tall kids. And women have more ability to select for height than men do, so m…

I didn't say this particular situation it was bad to correct him. I said sometimes you don't need to correct at all and sometimes it's about how you approach the conversation. If my bf is responding really poorly to me suggesting something, or reminding him of something, etc. I would take it as a sign there's some tension associated with how or what I'm asking. I would probably have a conversation about it with him, why it bothers him, and how we both can do better. I don't know exactly how she …
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/23 07:51 PM

Yea, it's definitely a communication thing. Me and my bf have had problems with it recently. We've both been really tired and stressed due to life things and it's made both of us less patient with each other. I was being naggy and annoying and he was being very stubborn and closed off. We had to have a conversation about what we both could do to stop any resentment or anger from building and resolve issues in a better way.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/23 07:41 PM

No not really. Like if a woman started a conversation with you, you wouldn't straight up ignore them then? That's alright. But at the same time, it might be good to get used to interacting with women. Like you don't need to expect anything would come from it so as not to get your hopes up, but y'know, just so it's not as intimidating. Like I've always been a bit more awkward around guys, but I think that was mostly back when I was single. Now when I interact with them there's really no possibili…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/23 07:37 PM

uhh, like ignore them? I don't care if it's misogynistic or not, that's kind of just rude
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/23 07:15 PM

I think it's a bit naggy. I know because I can be that way about things. I'm admittedly a bit of a backseat driver, which wasn't a problem when my bf didn't have his license, because I would just drive us everywhere. But now that he's got his own car and license he enjoys being in the driver's seat. It's fine and all, but sometimes I can get naggy about the way he drives, but I try not to. It's not that he does things wrong, but usually there are better ways. I've kind of learned it's more about…

Don't ask questions you don't want the answer to. Yea maybe she should have gone easier on him, but it really reminds me of chicks going "guess how much I weigh uwu" and then crying when he guesses to high.

He had diagnosed autism bud. Likely more along the line of Asperger's, but they class it all together these days anyways. He was fun to chat with and he invited me to join the gaming club at our college.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/23 11:39 PM

Michael Cera is cute tho 🥺
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/23 11:36 PM

Idk, my old coworker had autism and he was pretty average.

/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/23 07:34 PM

When my grandpa built his house, he made the counters quite low. So whenever my family would visit, my mom would tell me and my sisters we have to do the dishes because if my brother did them it would hurt his back lol
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/23 07:31 PM

Most of my chats with women irl don't seem to be that way. Women revel in the attention. I've chatted with girls who say they like going to clubs and stuff solely for that reason. Sure it can have it's downsides, but if it were truly such a big deal, women wouldn't get excited about dates or put a lot of effort into men finding them attractive. I don't hang out with guys often, but when I hang out with my girlfriends a lot of the conversation revolves around men.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/23 06:19 PM

I feel really awkward when I make eye contact with ppl. Like if I do accidentally, I'll smile politely. But usually that's only like a second or so. Or if it's someone I see a lot I might smile and wave a bit. But just staring for a bit and then smiling seems unbearably awkward to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/23 06:02 PM

I really don't understand what's going on with the bikini. Like why are the straps bulging like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/23 05:58 PM

C'est la vie
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/23 05:54 PM

The vast majority of my experiences of men being interested in me isn't repulsive. There were a couple situations where it was scary or uncomfortable, but that was the minority. Usually it was exciting or flattering if I thought a guy might be into me. But it was also rare.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/23 05:50 PM

I mean, I think the eye contact thing is weird to begin with. But I can't really see it eating into your time much unless you're staring for a very awkwardly long time.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/23 05:48 PM

Idk that's weird. I read lots of fanfic, but I never read gay fanfic. It would be hard to know how much it'd actually bother me unless I was in that situation tho
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/23 05:45 PM

I'm a biological woman (y'know with 2 X chromosomes) and the only times I browse the 2X sub is when men on here link me to it. I don't know a single woman irl who even knows those subs exist. I don't even know any other girls who use reddit. I don't browse it because most of the time I don't agree with or like what people are saying on there. I swear a lot of people on this subreddit go out of their way to look for rage porn.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/23 05:42 PM

I would never go to a place like that to sit alone. I don't really go anywhere alone, I don't see the point. It wouldn't be fun. I'd just be feeling anxious and scared the whole time.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/23 05:19 PM

Idk, It's a bit weird but I'm generally pretty accepting of things.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/23 05:17 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/23 08:25 PM

There's been at least 4 or 5 different friends since high school I've been unsure about based on their posts lol. But with girls you can never know for sure 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/23 06:58 PM

It's the same old routine. Trying to figure out if my old highschool/college friends are posting on insta about their new lesbian relationship or if they're just posting about how much they love their bestie. I may never know for sure.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/23 06:45 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/23 05:58 PM

Yea after all my siblings got into the mid to late twenties I lost track of ages (although I can figure it out if I take a minute to think). I tend to be pretty good with birthdays but I'm not sure about my BIL's
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/23 05:55 PM

I don't think most of these things are worth getting bent out of shape over tbh.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/23 05:50 PM

I'm not exactly sure what you're referring to. There's two different things you're talking about. The chicks who make fun of "nice guys" (guys who aren't actually nice but pretend to be). They don't have a problem with men who are genuinely nice. The other phenomenon is chicks who are attracted to the stereotypical "bad boy". Specifically the women who think they can "change" him, or pity him because they believe his behaviour is due to a rough upbringing. Or they hope they'll be the exception a…
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/23 05:19 PM

The "nice guys" ppl villainize aren't actually nice
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/23 05:08 PM

True
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/23 04:03 PM

I do find it incredibly difficult to find porn that appeals to what I like, but for different reasons lol. Idc what the guy looks like or sounds like (as long as he doesn't make me cringe) and I don't care if the girl finishes.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/23 04:03 PM

I don't have a regular hairdresser, so I just go where is most convenient. I haven't got my haircut in probably over a year tho. Tbh I might just about be due for one

swallowing is not as messy. Plus depending how deep it is you don't always have to taste it.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 03:50 PM

Ugh that makes me feel sick. I don't even know what I'd do if my family did something like that for me. I'm extremely close with my family, if they cut contact with me completely like that over something I never did, I would be very tempted to end it all. That's so fucked up.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 12:36 PM

I'm socially anxious. I'm very quiet, with most people I only speak when spoken to essentially 😅. I occasionally have ppl I click with, but usually it takes me a long time to get to a point where I converse normally and naturally. If I'm talking to someone else who is awkward like me, regardless of attraction or interest, our conversations would probably turn out like in that clip.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 12:28 PM

Uh. Yea idk, it just looks like two awkward ppl having an awkward conversation. I'm pretty awkward myself so I've been there (and I definitely wasn't trying to flirt 😅)
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 12:21 PM

They probably had situation specific cause to think it was messed up.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 06:43 AM

Ppl need to admit they just like being bullies rather than hiding behind the farce of "I'm helping them lose weight". Anyone who truly cared wouldn't be so needlessly cruel.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 03:49 AM

Oh woe is me, I can't be mean to other people anymore 😔
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 03:03 AM

Like on a first date? Idk, I'm kinda picky so I'd probably prefer he didn't. I'm definitely open to suggestions if he's more familiar with the restaurant. With my bf, I really wouldn't mind at all if he did that sometimes lol. I'm so indecisive and he knows most of my likes and dislikes anyways, so I'd trust him to get something I like. Saves me the work of deciding lol
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/23 08:28 AM

I'm kind of glad I had both examples of happy and successful relationships and happy and successful single women growing up. My mom's best friend has been single her whole life and she's honestly an amazing person and is quite happy. I definitely have always wanted a partner and a family, but at the same time I was always somewhat at peace about that not working out. And as for settling. Every successful relationship in existence is built on compromise. Sure there's a certain extent, but I prett…

/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/23 05:55 AM

No I just cry a lot 🥲
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/23 05:52 AM

Yea me and my siblings are super tight knit. When my sister moved out she literally bought a house a couple blocks away and she still comes over all the time and invites us over for dinner at least once a week or more. My other sister is moving further away soon and she's super depressed about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/23 05:51 AM

it is actually unfathomable to me that anyone would FUCKING CRY over not being approached after going out one time. I've cried over less certainly

people can change on their own. But trying to change someone or hoping they'll change from who they currently are and betting your relationship is stupid. Just go for someone who currently has the lifestyle that is compatible with you.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/23 02:20 AM

Trying to change her isn't controlling it's just stupid. I also don't agree with the second point anyways.

Yea my sister minored in history especially focusing on music history. She's definitely a bit of a history buff lol
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 10:01 PM

I think for most women height is a pretty big deal. I like tall men and all, but it's not the most important factor for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 09:25 PM

History 😪
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 09:21 PM

Interesting. My high school lunch breaks were a free for all. Only time they didn't let us out was when there was a moose spotted on the property. On our lunch breaks I'd usually go sit in the parking lot with friends outside or smthn.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 07:14 PM

Don't you have lunch break? I used to spend basically all my breaks outside when I was in high school
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 07:08 PM

I remember kissing my parents on the lips growing up. I never really thought of it as odd.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 07:02 PM

No I've never experienced this. My attraction threshold doesn't really change with the environment. I find a lot of guys my age cute enough, I've never felt that change due to environment.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 07:00 PM

tbh, I feel like no one in my generation actually watches mainstream news anymore (gen z)
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 08:33 PM

Oh yea I responded and then deleted and then forgot to respond again. Yea I mean that's better than what I initially thought (I didn't think scissoring lol, more just actually cuddling which I've seen chicks do), although I don't often get that close either with friends unless we don't have a choice.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 08:31 PM

Nah I have a fantastic relationship. For the record I don't worry that my bf would reject me if I was bi and I guarantee he feels the same way about me. There were just some things that over time I realized didn't matter to have a conversation over and so we don't have those conversations. I would definitely consider our sexualities a non-issue as long as we are very much both sexually attracted to each other lol. In my relationship it was more about finding other people attractive or developing…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 08:20 PM

I used to drive me and my bf everywhere and he would always tease me about being bad with remembering where things are (granted now I know my city very well and can get basically anywhere without GPS 💪). But now he does most of the driving and is constantly asking for directions. I swear he's worse with it than I ever was. So now I get to tease him about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 07:57 PM

Read it instead
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 07:50 PM

I'm mostly speaking from experience. I used to have the mindset that you need to share basically absolutely everything, but since I've been dating my bf for so long, I don't feel that way anymore. I could see how if you're genuinely worried your chick might dump you if you confess you're bi worries you, it might eat away at you. But you could probably do some work on yourself and get past that rift eventually. And if you can't get past it, just confess ig. The alternative is possibly having the …
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 07:48 PM

Also this is something I don’t understand as a woman. Why do guys need some many pics? You have a bunch already and you literally see me naked or in sexy outfits or lingerie all the time) I thought the same for my bf and then I realized he always deleted them after our text conversations lol. He said it felt inappropriate to have them saved to his phone 😂 Kinda wholesome, but dang I thought I looked good in those.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 07:35 PM

Again, I would understand what you mean about more important issues. But it's not like I know every detail about my bf. I love him and I know him very well, but I don't expect him to share absolutely everything with me, especially if it's not relevant. I haven't shared everything about myself with my bf. Like I wouldn't lie if he asked, but I wouldn't bring it up myself because it wouldn't really affect us in anyway. If it's an insecurity thing, than yea I'm up for talking about that with him. I…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 07:27 PM

Religion is a big deal. It's a huge part of your identity. Finding boys hot is not a big deal (unless you actually want to adjust your lifestyle around that, which if he's married he absolutely should not be planning to do). Like it's not like I feel the need to remind my man that I'm straight and other men are attractive sometimes. If I see a good looking guy, I don't have to tell him. If my bf comes out to me as bi, all that tells me is he's been actively exploring his sexuality and thinking a…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 06:55 PM

you can expect them to be faithful, you can't expect them to not leave you tho.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 06:47 PM

I think some things are better unsaid. What's the point in coming out about that if you're married. Like even if you were bisexual it doesn't make a difference in your sex life unless you plan on divorcing or being unfaithful.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 06:45 PM

"acts like that" 😂😂😂😂 I could bet that her and Tate were chatting and someone was like "let's take a picture" and they quickly posed like that for a little bit and then moved on. I'd be more concerned about the pic of them smoking together lol And also, she's a grown woman. Like you gotta let your kids fly the nest at some point lol. Even if it bothered him for whatever reason, what is he supposed to do about it? She's an adult, is she not?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 06:14 PM

Has Jordon Peter personally told you that he thinks taking a picture like that is bad?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 06:05 PM

Yea, I grew up in a conservative Christian home and am still a practicing Christian, these views are definitely on the extreme end of things lol
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 06:03 PM

It's behind her. That's a pretty normal way to pose for a picture with someone ime
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 06:00 PM

Are you talking about the one where they're sitting next to each other? I googled and could only find 2, and that's the one they're the closest. It looks like a pretty typical picture pose imo
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 05:55 PM

Yea, It feels way too intimate for me lol
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 05:53 PM

Yea, women being overly affectionate way too early on in the friendship always makes me feel uncomfortable. Like hugging me when I barely know them, saying "love you", calling me sister or bestie, being overly complimentary, etc. That always feels really disingenuous to me. Especially since I'm not touchy to begin with. Me and my best friend are close and aren't adverse to hugging as a greeting or whatever, but cuddling is a definite no for me lol
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 05:45 PM

interesting theory 🤔
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 05:34 PM

lol that's kind of funny tbh
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 05:28 PM

Do the majority of women cuddle with their female friends? Like I know it's more common with women than men, but I've never been that touchy with my girlfriends.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 05:24 PM

Female friend groups also have lesbian orgies with each other didn't you know?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 05:18 PM

It's fine to say "I'm uncomfortable with you going to the club" as well. I also like the first question as to just initiate a conversation around it. I've never been to the club before and the few times I've been invited out I've talked about it with my bf and we've both decided it's not a good idea. He expressed he was uncomfortable with it and would rather I didn't, so I didn't. It's not a big deal.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 05:16 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 06:06 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 04:15 AM

Gaming set up might be a bit overkill. Most gamers have their personal preference. Forza is decent tho and might be exciting for a kid who doesn't have the newest x box. Boys love racing games. I set up my old wii with mariokart in my dorm lounge at my old college and one of the guys played it to death. Maxxed out a file.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 03:44 AM

I mean it's not cheating but I would have a lot of questions.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 07:25 PM

Yea, that's fair, I agree.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 06:54 PM

Well OP made it clear that ending the relationship is a last resort for him. It's not an invalid dealbreaker, but the advice should be to help him get through it rather than scrap it as that's what he wants to do.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 06:45 PM

My dad was a very positive role model for me. I basically always had the goal of marrying someone like my dad. He's kind of set my standards for a partner very high though. I don't view men or women in any particular way. Both can be shitty, I've seen that. And both can be amazing, I've seen that.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/23 08:39 PM
3

My man's values and character is top of the charts when it comes to who I choose to date and marry. I approach dating with marriage and our future family in mind, so if I couldn't see him potentially fathering my children, I wouldn't date him. So he must have good morals and good character.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/23 07:48 PM

Or do I? 🫰

I can't turn the feelings off, but I can control my actions. If I'm falling for someone I shouldn't, I think the only way for me to change or get rid of those feelings would be to change the nature of the relationship and how we interact with each other. Then it might fade over time.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/23 03:37 PM

Same for me tbh. I'm early twenties, but most women I know are chill about gaming or actually play themselves. It's still a problem if the person games so much they aren't productive or are ignoring their partner though.

I might also consult my mom or dad if it's a big issue or concern for me and I need their wisdom. That's mostly a last resort though, I don't like sharing his shortcomings with the world. My point is that women asked for more freedom, and so they got it. But yet they still want to act the victim. Before there were very concrete things stopping women from choosing the life she wants for herself. Those barriers don't exist in the west here anymore, so women can do whatever they want. Yet they still complain.

What's stopping them from just working? Not have children. Get a nanny. Have a house husband. Like we have just as many rights as men now, if my man isn't going to provide the type of relationship and family dynamic I want, I can next him.

I'm saying it's not really ironic because women do the same shit. I don't know about the specific instance you're describing here, but I don't often (never tbh) see men make comments about chick's vaginas like without getting backlash.

Everyone laughs like it's funny to joke about things that are likely deep insecurities for people. Just scroll through 2x and it won't take long to find dick size jokes at the expense of men. It depends on a lot of factors. I think an in tact family home is important for children, but if both partners have completely given up on the relationship, that's only the illusion of being "in tact". Kids will either pick up on it when they're young, or feel betrayed when they're older and they realize things weren't as they seemed. I think divorce should be the absolute last resort though. The focus should be on fixing the problems in the relationship first, rather than giving up and tolerati…

Yea these are the kinds of situations I could see it being beneficial. I think ability should be the number one point of focus, and I also don't think if the goal is understanding customer bases is the goal, just picking someone because of their race is beneficial. I feel like that often when I look at people around me interacting so naturally. I'm neurotypical as far as I know, so I'm always wondering if the people I observe secretly share the same concerns. I always feel like I have to be very cognizant of how I act to appear normal and fit in, even then I'm not sure if I'm acting normal or if the people around me are just rolling with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/23 07:39 AM

My male friends make sex jokes about each other constantly, but for some reason that feels different than sex jokes about women. I probably overall prefer a more gentlemanly man. I do like dirty jokes and raunchy humour, but it really depends on the execution. If he's talking about his kinks and is too open about his bedroom activities, I don't like that.

/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/23 06:25 PM

Does it matter what they look like?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/23 06:23 PM

Maybe for men. Women basically get to sift through a catalogue of options without lifting a finger, well technically they do to swipe lol. Although that's not necessarily my experiences as a woman, plenty of women simply don't need to approach and still have access to plenty of quality men.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/23 06:18 PM

They hold the records for women. That's the point of having gender divided sports. If you based it on performance, the majority of the records would belong to the highest performers, which would be men for most sports. Women wouldn't hold any meaningful world records. Being the fastest woman in the world is an impressive feat. Being the fastest women in a division devoted to people who are less fast, is not quite as prestigious of an accomplishments. The Olympics, for example, would be mostly me…

I think sometimes when I see shit like that, I get in my head about how much I want something like that done for me. It's easy to think "If he doesn't do those kinds of things, he doesn't love me as much". You may not see the value in luxury handbags or dresses, but plenty of women likely don't see the value in luxury watches or fancy cars. I understand suits are useful and can be reworn a lot, but there is still a price point where the only reason someone would need to spend that much is for the brand and status. My point is that if we want to get after women spending excessively on luxury brands, it do…

Excessively expensive handbags and shoes are just as justified as excessively expensive watches and suits. I don't understand how you can claim they serve a more practical purpose. Men can buy cheaper suits and cheaper watches, the only reason they get the extremely expensive version is to show their status. It's the exact same as expensive handbags and shoes for women. A car of course has a practical purpose, but once again, once you get past the point of spending for function, any further expe…

Do you think men don't purchase luxury watches, jewelry, sneakers, suits, cars, etc.? I don't think women spend more on unnecessary luxury items than men. In terms of consumer debt, men and women have nearly identical spending habits.

I got 3 I think. I technically have one hoe friend, but the majority of my social circle is more reserved, so I didn't count "Her friends are hoes". I also am not really sure what "She talks too much around your friends" is supposed to be about. How much is too much? I think I'm okay on that front because I'm not really a chatterbox to begin with, but it's definitely an odd thing to find as a red flag. I also don't know what "She puts her friends and family is y'all's business" even means.

If someone is going to a commit a mass shooting, they are unwell and evil. Can we please keep tragedies like this out of the sexual dynamics debate, it's meaningless. A mass shooter is already an extreme outlier, you're not going to gain anything of value from trying to push your narrative through situations like this. It just makes you look insensitive to the people actually suffering.

I tried one of those AI photo things, but it turned my photos into stylized art pieces rather than photos. It was quite interesting. Some of the result were very off putting, some were quite cool, but they all resembled me.

pretty much. Like right now we're not married, but the thought that a divorce may happen if we were to marry doesn't really cross my mind. Him cheating on me isn't really a concern at all, and neither is him becoming abusive. We both take the marriage vows very seriously.

Me and my partner don't drink or engage in degenerate behaviour, so we're good on that front. Now we just need millions haha. Yea that's why I wouldn't agree to the marriage considering the circumstances in the hypothetical. I want a partner who values marriage and commitment in the same way I do, and I also want a partner who trusts me. If he is this worried about a divorce, I don't think I would marry him.

No, I want to be a SAHM and am looking for a man who is able and willing to provide for me and our children. I also don't appreciate him planning an escape strategy before he even marries me, that doesn't communicate commitment or trust.

I already asked my dad how he felt about my partner asking my hand in marriage. In his words: "What am I going to say, "no"?" 😂 I mentioned to my bf that he doesn't need to worry about asking my dad, but he said he wanted to anyways because he likes the tradition. I don't understand why she wouldn't just ask her partner about his thoughts on the tradition, rather than waiting until he's ready to marry her. If it's truly that important to her, you would think she would want to sort it out earlier…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 06:42 PM

I tend to be pretty unpicky in terms of personality as well, so it's one of those "I'd know it if I met it" situations. Personalities can sometimes grow on me in the same way looks do. But general unintelligence is something I have a hard time dealing with. Being rude, too arrogant (I like confidence, but unfounded pride is embarrassing), too lazy, not family orientated, and selfish. I also have difficulty with people on the spectrum. I date specifically looking for a person who would make a goo…

/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 05:56 PM

Slightly below average then? It would depend on in what ways they are below average, some guys can be traditionally unattractive, yet I could still see myself being with them. If they truly match what I like in terms of personality, their looks would likely grow on me over time. At least that's how it works ime. I would pick them over another guy who's personality is undesirable even if he's very attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 05:44 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 04:51 AM

I think I have only one female peer who posts like that, and she rarely posts anyways. It likely has to do with social circles, but I think the idea that all, or even most, women post this kind of content regularly is greatly exaggerated. I'm fine with my partner having boundaries about the nature of what I post, but if he asked me to delete social media altogether, I would be quite confused as to why. I don't post anything like that.

/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 04:04 AM

Why does that make you happy? Generally I find it annoying when people get frustrated and start trying to make things personal. It makes it difficult to have a meaningful conversation.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 04:02 AM

That's so strange to me haha. In my social circles women rewear dresses all the time. I couldn't imagine needing to buy a new dress everytime someone gets married. Not to mention weddings aren't really an everyday occurrence, I'm surprised they are even able to keep track.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 02:58 AM

Do you mean the women were judging other women for wearing the same dresses?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 02:54 AM

Who frowns upon this? I have never experienced stigma for wearing the same dress or outifits.

/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 02:38 AM

How would you define "misogynist"? I've had people call me a misogynist before (or that it's internalized), and I'm sure there are people who would consider my partner a misogynist as well. Personally I don't think a man who believes men and women are better equipped for different roles in the family and society are by default misogynists, but I know plenty of people do believe that. So if we're going by a definition like that, then I'm sure there are a lot of women who date "misogynists" becaus…

It's not really worth the energy to try to explain that to men. I'm attracted to my partner. My partner knows that, and he's the only one who actually needs to. Being in spaces like this as a woman is a constant battle to prove yourself to a bunch of men who have already decided what their truth is.

That's a very long time from now. That's unfortunate that there are so many barriers that make it difficult to meet up. I don't mean to suggest anything about your partner by this, I'm just genuinely curious. Do you ever have trust issues or worry about your partner being different day-to-day irl than what you perceive her to be over long-distance communication? I've always been a firm believer in "actions speak louder than words", so I think if I ever tried a LDR it would be a constant worry of…
