Probably she is wealthy as a woman defines wealthy: I have lots of shoes, purses and status symbols. That makes me wealthy. I don’t know about their sex drive but probably you are correct that it is less of a factor. They can be just as manipulative and attention seeking. Shit. One thing she did (undoubtedly for self serving reasons) that really benefits you is leaving. Learn from this: a proposed open relationship is an immediate relationship ender. I think you are wrong- it is not lack of ability to do it, it is lack of motivation to do it. Cleaning stuff is boring, negative consequences for not doing it are zero, so she does just enough to make a big deal of how she does something. The test of my theory = how well and fast she cleans shit up when her parents are coming to town. Sadly it may be a very long time before we can build a real substitute.
