omg. young teen girls are attracted to a multimillionaire singer who debuted when they were also a teen, and who was heavily marked to teens!!!! that's definitely the same thing as random 25 y/o men and middle aged men purposely going after teenagers!!!

exactly this. thank you! it's not "necessarily always the case" but the times it's not are probably like 5% of the time.

it's literally young women who are espousing their disgust on social media the most though... men are really delusional if they think "jealous old women" are the reason for this. is it really that unbelievable to you that young women are finally waking up to the predatory behavior of older males towards girls, and speaking up about it? barring those with father trauma ("daddy issues"), they do not want you.

how do you not realize by now that men are extremely cheap on the dating market? women are not fighting over 40 year old men unless they are literal sugar daddies or celebrities. we do not want you. the sentiment comes from disgust at the predatory nature of it. it is really that simple. and much of if not most of said disgust is coming from these young women themselves! the main people i see talking about this issue are teenage girls and young women on social media! very confused why its seemin…

nope, women don't care about the attraction and don't want to know about it either. it's extremely creepy and offputting to even know that a 50 year old man is attracted to someone young enough to be his daughter. barf-worthy and also traumatizing to some young girls to even know about especially if they've been assaulted by such creeps before.

the point of calling it toxic masculinity is that the toxicity arises from an obsession with the worst traits associated with "masculinity" - usually unchecked aggression and a huge ego. toxic femininity would look different for that reason too. it's not "just toxic" when a girl uses her femininity to garner sympathy even though she's in the wrong, for example. the toxic thing she's doing is directly tied to feminine traits and behaviors, but used negatively and manipulatively.

it's not just reddit. it's literally every platform where men have an opportunity to spout whatever they want about women. and 90% of the time it's awful.

but men were being openly awful towards women with their "bros" far before modern feminism started openly hating men. you can't possibly pretend to not know this.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
