They're not a 'resource' in the traditional sense that there's a limited amount being 'used' and at their maximum usage potential according to your argument. While I would dispute thinking of them as a resource, and prefer to think of them as (oh how revolutionary) other people, we can discuss and analyze sexual interactions (as well as most other interactions) in economic terms.
