Absolutely, well said. As well, as someone who was once cheated on in a particularly vile fashion, I think most guys don’t realize what lies within their mind when they’re put into a situation like that. In the long run, finding out I was being played was the best thing that could have happened for me. It’s what led me to discover the Red pill and becoming more rationally critical of the world. But my god, if it had been the dude she was fucking around with that told me I don’t know how well I’d…

I feel like the people telling you to tell the boyfriend have never been on the receiving end of a woman in full damage control mode. Same thing happened to me years ago. I was fucking around with this chick for a solid month, and then one day she decided the best time to tell me she had a boyfriend was while she was literally on top of me - no condom or anything. Queue her emotions getting the best of her and her telling the boyfriend. Of course, “none of it was her fault” and the insinuation t…

That’s just an aspect of life that’s unavoidable. While we shouldn’t dwell on and agonize over the suffering that’s inherent to life, being able to recognize it, learn from it, and keep on moving forward in the face of it, is partly what TRP is all about. The realities of our biology are inherently tragic in a sense. For the continuation of the species, a woman’s biological imperative dictates dispassionate hypergamy. Does her dualistic desire to secure the best possible genetic lineage and also…

When applied properly, RP theories can allow men to lead relationships in which men and women can live harmoniously together. The sexes are meant to complement one another, not antagonize one another. RP can help men to recognize and avoid women with undesirable traits, to focus on themselves and their own self improvement, to not pedestalize women, and to recognize detrimental behaviors and attitudes within themselves - allowing positive change which not only benefits themselves, but society as…

It’s a fairly well established phenomenon in the study of psychology that, with regards to the Big Five Personality Traits, those who fall more into the categories of Neuroticism and Agreeableness/Openness tend to be more liberal, while those who fall into the categories of Conscientiousness and Extraversion tend to be more conservative. There’s obviously overlap, but I believe the correlation is statistically significant. That is, a person’s personality traits may generally reliably predict the…

I only have this reddit account subscribed to a few key subreddits, mostly self improvement based - TRP, FormCheck, Meditation, etc. Sometimes I’ll switch the feed to “Popular” just to see what’s circulating the site, and more often than not I’m quite frankly appalled by the hateful fear-mongering trash that’s getting tens of thousands of upvotes. It takes all of 2 minutes of scrolling the top posts to make one anxious, resentful, and pissed off - mostly at issues or people/occurrences that one …

This is more of general life advice, but I would highly recommend starting a daily mindfulness meditation habit. This will help you to notice when these thoughts are occurring, and to not allow them to control you. Observe the thoughts, let them pass. Realize you are not your thoughts. They are not your master.

This is one of the first truths about ourselves that may be discovered upon persisting with a daily mediation habit. The natural state of the mind is reflexive, impulsive, and a story teller. Our patterns of thought can be thought of as an Elephant Rider. While the rider (our conscious thought) can give direction to the elephant (our subconscious mind, behavior patterns, in-born nature), if that elephant wants to suddenly change direction and run off course, there’s nothing the rider can do abou…
