The problem isn't the fact that he turned her down the problem is more likely about how he did it. If a girl tries to kiss you really quickly, you could turn her down in a flirty way where you show clear intent that you plan on kissing her at a later time. It's all about how you say it. If you have a sly grin on your face, look her directly in the eyes, and turn her down with a flirty remark then it's pretty clear that kissing isn't off the table. And if you go back to flirting like it never hap…

I realized this when I started becoming slowly better with girls and lost the desire to read this sub nearly as often

This is the answer. Or even just post every once in a while. And delete the app in between posts so you don't use it too often. And then you have an account for them to look at without wasting your time on the app.

A good test if it seems like she's getting colder towards you is to completely cut off contact for a day or two. If she reaches out to you, she clearly wants to continue developing the relationship with you, and you should go back to talking to her, though maybe not quite as much as before. If she doesn't, she's probably not interested and you should move on.

I find it a pretty tough balance. I've had girls where I didn't push the conversation and it died out and then weeks or even months later they'd message again. I never understood what motivates them to randomly text at that time, but this only works if you don't come off needy and desperate in the earlier conversation. But at the same time, you want to give her enough earlier on that she is hopeful that something can happen between the two of you. The way I'll look at it is that if she texts me,…

The reason it's not taken seriously is because there's a general inverse relation of the amount of time you spend on this subreddit to the success you have with women. When you think about it, the people who are spending all this time asking specific questions about some girl they met or complaining about something are not doing as well as the person who comes on here for a couple of weeks, learns the basics, and then gets there ass out the house and starts meeting people. Because the more time …

Can you elaborate on number five? What does it mean and how do you make use of it?

Now I'm curious what you look like

Don't even think about asking her out or whatever yet. Just commit to yourself to talk to her. Maybe do that a couple times. Then, only if that goes well and YOU want to hang out with her more, you can think about the next step. Think about this as you deciding if she's worth pursuing. She's clearly into you, just talk to her. It's really that simple

Yeah just chill the fuck out a bit and go for it. You have nothing too lose really. You sound pretty young and must be attractive enough, so worst comes to worst it doesn't work out with her and you have a long time ahead of you. It sounds like you already have a foot in the door, just go for it. Talk to her, flirt a little bit, and tell yourself that whether or not you end up getting with her you're better off for talking to her. Good luck buddy

Maybe it's just that you aren't into her as much as she is into you. I bet if you were head over heels for her as well and were willing to go as far for her as she was for you then it would be a perfect match. It's the difference between her investment and yours I guess. If you didn't like her at all and she was obsessing over you then you'd be creeped out. If you were madly in love with her as well then you'd be fine because you're investment level is the same. It seems in your situation that y…

I think the analogy would be memorizing one hard sounding song on the piano really well and playing it so people will think you're good at piano (sick move btw, I do this and everyone's like, woah you're really good). The problem is that you have no idea how to read music and can't play anything else, and after just a little bit it becomes pretty apparent that you don't really know how to play. The one song is putting on the appearance that you can play while on the inside you don't really know.…

If you don't know her then it would be pretty damn hard to not seem creepy unless you have a really popular and attractive page. Even then it's creepy, but there's a chance the girl will be willing to give you a shot if you seem worth it. If you even are a little friendly with her then it can be easier. I'd wait till she posts something on her page or on her story and then dm her something funny about it. Don't force it and message her something lame. Imagine if you were getting a DM from some r…

I think I get this part. I can tell when a girl is at least somewhat interested in me. But what I'm really bad at is taking those signals and moving them to action. I know it's all about escalation and push pull but when I try to do it in real life it just feels awkward. So I'm left with girls who just move on from me cause I have no idea how to make the next move. Any advice?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
