Tbh I'm not really even mad about it. I don't think most people are like that but it's the same concept as having a mistress, basically. Have one person for their responsibilities and one person for their genetics.

No one is talking about wealth we're talking about who spends money. You said it yourself, women have the spending power. Merry Christmas, I'm sorry for the things in your life that make you feel like a victim, I hope you find peace.

You're incorrect. It literally is true. Women have the most purchasing power, that's not even a controversial statement. You can just Google it. You're confusing earning money with spending money. https://www.inc.com/amy-nelson/women-drive-majority-of-consumer-purchasing-its-time-to-meet-their-needs.html https://www.bloomberg.com/company/stories/top-10-things-everyone-know-women-consumers/ https://hbr.org/2009/09/the-female-economy

I'm not sure you first part is necessarily true, weren't women historically just sold off as wives? I don't think there's a long history of actual dating.

Well if she married someone who can't navigate the thought that there's a difference between being responsible and being accountable for your actions and choices and actual victim blaming then she probably could make better choices.

In some states, a degree earned during a marriage is considered marital property. If this is the case, then any debt incurred while earning your degree is considered marital debt, which means it's the responsibility of both you and your spouse. Agreed but I was really talking about directly. If we want to dig into that guys finance everything. That is a bizarre anecdote. On the flip side I don't know anyone where that is the case and even when courses are being taken they're paid for by the empl…

I'm not sure why this would even be debated. It would be incredibly rare in the US for a man successful enough to pay for his girlfriends college is dating someone young enough to be in college. If she went back once they were together that would be the glaring exception. People who can afford college and people who are in college probably don't meet enough to be dating.

I mean, most places that's extremely dangerous, illegal, and cost prohibitive. I wouldn't really compare having a child and support from your mother to having to solicit expensive illegal services but i guess our disagreement on comparisons is why we're here.

85% of women over 40 have children. Plus women tend to have more intimate relationships with their friends, and I obviously don't mean that sexually. It's not rocket science as to why this could be the case. Commitment and companionship aren't difficult to find in one form or another. If you have a dog, a kid or two, a close group of friends, and some family near by, all those needs can easily be met.

That depends on which 20. From 30-50, sure. From 15-35, not so much. Especially if you're in school until 22, your 20 years of value just got cut to 13.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/19 06:52 PM

But if you're counting that as someone's only value it's extremely temporary, there's a 15-20 year window, best case.

I think it's probably a combination of everything, one of those your milage may vary things. I'm an extreme introvert and only do well IRL. I'm good looking enough but I'm mid 30s and a shave my head and that presumably causes a lot of left swiping. However, I'm pretty funny and apparently charismatic... And 6'3 240. My physical presence is a lot better than what photos can do.

No one knew other than kids, I don't even know what he looks like I'm just aware of the name, and you just informed me that he has a brother. The bath water girl... All I know is apparently some people are mad some girl is selling bathwater. I have no idea who she is or why someone would want hers.

Is that a joke? You literally said that men complain when they're attacked by men. As if that's a problem. You then said you have the right to complain if you were to be attacked by a woman. You're a quotable hypocrite.

Big guy checking in. I'm aware, have been my entire life (I'm a big adult, I was a huge kid). I'm just always smiley and kind of keep my head down and have never had a problem. I've discussed it with tiny female friends of mine and apparently I do a good enough job that they don't realize I'm big until they're standing next to me.

I can't really make the argument because it's not cheating to me. That was my point. I know women who would consider getting a lap dance at a strip club cheating and I know people who think a blowjob isn't cheating. The definition of cheating is entirely up to the individual and it's their job to define those terms of their relationship.

I found that last bit weird as well. Reddit seems to be the home of the "tell the wife! She has a right to know" crowd but now this guy is an asshole for telling the boyfriend. I hope it's two different groups of people but it was surprising to me to see that reaction.

I don't think it's really fair to judge people's boundaries like that though. Everyone has different expectations in a relationship and that's just something to work out between the two people. Some people would feel posting pictures on line is a violation of the relationship, who are we to say it's not? Same thing can go through a bunch of steps. What is cheating? Posting pictures online? Sending someone pictures directly? Giving someone a clothed lap dance? Stripping and giving someone a lap d…

I'm sure it doesn't but if it helps I grew up in a great home and it does the same to me. I've always had the thought / reaction that if you raise your voice at me you're going to have to fight me.

Currently separated and living 1,000 miles apart. Was married for ten years and it didn't end ugly. We're still friends.

Being married is like being in a fully committed relationship only you also signed a piece of paper and more often than not have a better tax bracket.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/19 11:47 AM

This is the real answer. Everyone only knows what THEIR marriage is like and having one doesn't make you an expert on anyone else's anymore than someone who doesn't have one at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/19 11:40 AM

I don't think that's true though. Full disclosure, I'm not sure how I feel about the issue but the fact that it's demonstrably false seems very inaccurate. If 50% of marriage ends in divorce and 70% (in recalling the numbers, I apologize if that's not completely accurate), then even if EVERY SINGLE man who filed for divorce did so because his wife got old, that's still only 15% of guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/19 06:02 PM

Yeah but if you have no say in getting married is divorce even an option?

I'm not sure I agree with that. I've only experienced it with one person and I would think it was bullshit too if I never did.

I don't disagree. I think to OPs point though, he's blaming it on looks and the majority of people see obesity as a lifestyle issue not an appearance issue. It's a similar judgment as smoking cigarettes opposed to your height or bone structure.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/19 12:36 PM

The obesity is a key take away here. Looks overall do matter but the subject of obesity is a different thing imo. As you said, obesity projects other negative traits such as being lazy or uniformed, poor decision making, etc. It's more of a lifestyle judgment than an issue of "looks". https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/real-healing/201308/i-see-fat-people%3famp

I have to assume some of us are just less sensitive than others. I'm the same way, I'd rather not have sex than wear a rubber. Even raw it take me over an hour to cum. It's always been that way too, since the first time I rubbed one out so it's not a death grip thing. It sucks.

Yet somehow everyone there seem to know that the OP is always "better than that"... I mean, OP could be trash we don't know.

Seconded. You hear something and make a change before it's processed. It's sort of like if someone jumped out of an alley and said "keep walking how you're walking, it's totally safe!"... You're still going to jump back for a second. That's a bad analogy but you get my point.

I also think the vacation factor is two fold. You have the "doesn't count factor" but also the woman you'll run into traveling internationally probably are just more outgoing in general. Or at least you probably won't bump into the less outgoing people while traveling.

I find it hard to believe that most of your friends entered college as virgins. How old are you and where do you live? I'm mid 30s and went to high school and college in South Florida and honestly nearly everyone I knew then and know now were having sex in high school. Average age of v card would probably be 16, which is close enough to me to the reported average of 17.

Yeah fair enough, she pays more often than she let's me pay, I'd say half the time it's Dutch, 30% she pays 20% I pay. I earn a little more than her too. It's a really nice and different feeling to not feel like you need to take care of other adult.

This has been my experience as well. Always going Dutch and the unplanned weekend getaways have made career women my go to at this point, I can't go back to dating needy people.

I don't know how to answer that lol. I guess my face is fine since I get approached? My teeth are always a topic of conversation for what it's worth, I have naturally very white teeth and apparently a coment worthy smile, maybe that's it? Outside of that I'm pretty regular, like I said 6'3 240, somewhat balding so I keep my hair super short, keep my face the same length because I'm lazy. Honestly all types of girls, sometimes they're drop dead gorgeous, sometimes they're not. Always within my ag…

Idk man, it's definitely not the same for men and women but I get approached at least a few times a year, always have. In fact, every LTR I've ever had has been completely initiated by the woman. I think there's a lot more to it than any of us will understand. Tbh I don't even get it now, I'm a solid 20-30lbs over weight and it still happens. Just for reference I'm 6'3 240 so I might wear it a little differently than a smaller person would, but I'm hovering around 20% fb and haven't seen my abs …

It kind of goes both ways and honestly, to me, it begs the question of whether these people have their lives together because they got married or if they got married because they were "good people". I can tell you this, every single woman I know who falls into your critiera got married immediately after college. So are they polut together because they've always had two incomes or did they get married because they had something going for them? Either way, I knot tons of men who fit your criteria …

I've never NOT seen someone get punched in the mouth for saying it. I guess I'm old though. Feels weird that the recycling of fuckboy is what made it sync in.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/19 02:24 AM

I hear you but fuckboys were boys who got fucked. Not who fucked a lot. That would be fuckingboys or something. It be like turning the phrase cum dumpster from an insult to anyone who's given birth (not a great analogy but it's the best I had). It's just weird.

I'm glad someone finally said it, I remember in high school in the 2000s it was it was a more disrespectful way of saying f**. It was like the ultimate insult because it was literally saying you're another dudes bitch. I just found out it took on this new meaning about a year ago and it's still bizarre to me because they're basically opposites. How did a term for a prison bitch become a term for a player?

They'll try it anyway. It won't always get past a "woop, yeah not a thing" but they'll give it a shot if they think it'll make you happy.

I was actually on board with your title but reading the rest, I'm going to have to disagree lol. Over doing porn is as bad as any other addition and can certainly ruin people and relationships but all your examples seem to just be an effort to shame other people.

Yeah but if she can't afford to live where she's living then she doesn't have a good job either. If all but $200 of your pay going to rent, it's the same if you earn $100k or $10k. You're still broke and that "good" job isn't doing anything for you.

By that logic is anyone requiring ongoing medical treatment for survival not a human and can be terminated? It's hard to rationalize the other person's view. Being pro abortion but also pro helping those in need is as confusing to some as being anti abortion and pro death penalty is to others.
/r/MensRights26/01/17 01:11 PM

It would be interesting if that logic applied to other issues. Should it be legal to murder terminal cancer patients, they have a slim chance of survival. Should it be legal to rob lottery winner, statistically they LL probably lose it anyway. Steal a teenagers cars, they probably just wreck it anyway. Then again if we based medical treatment on possible success rates we could all probably save a lot of money.
