Not OP, but the concept of "unexpungeable demons" is generally directed at the concepts of toxic male masculinity, a topic of discourse that's very popular today within feminist rhetoric. 1	It's not easy to get a rape allegation taken seriously? Those police interrogations were , but as I read more of the articles HuffPost links to in that article, it becomes apparent that that police department was also racist, anti-free-speech, and arrested people for no reason at many times. Emphasis was put on petty arrests. I think it's clear that this department is about as representative of the average department as Big Red is of the average feminist (if you don't know her, look her up, she's a fairly vitriolic person).
