It honestly sounds like you weren't really into him and shouldn't have let him kiss you in the first place.

Car guys are the worst. I understand putting reasonable effort to make sure your car is reliable and clean, but I recommend avoiding guys who are obsessed with their cars.

I've never encountered one single marriageable male in my entire life I find this statement hard to believe. Where do you live that things are that bad? Have you been to college?

Excellent post and I agree. I'd even go one step further and say if he has a history of dating a particular type (eg if all his exes were a certain height, certain style, etc) and you are the opposite, it's probably a good idea to run.

Don't spend money on any course. There is lots of information online that is freely available (like this sub). No need to pay someone to tell you something you can learn yourself for free.

I'm turned off by guys who put more effort into their appearance than most women. I'm not saying I want a guy to be a slob, but there is such a thing as too much.

I see a lot of guys who seem to think that wearing something expensive automatically means they dress nice. No it doesn't, idiots. It still needs to fit well, and match, and complement your body type. I'm more impressed by someone who wears cheap stuff from Old Navy but it fits well and matches.

If you're a virgin, do not make this known to a man, at least not early in the relationship. Virgins will attract two types of men: 1) Virgin fetishists, who get off on "deflowering" as many women as they can. 2) Religious fundamentalists, who believe that women who have sex outside of marriage are dirty and slutty (but they have no problem when men do it). Trust me, you don't want anything to do with either of those types of men, so just don't let anyone know you're a virgin. Once things get se…

I find it very hard to imagine a 25 year old man asking his friend to ask a girl out on his behalf because he's too shy. This sounds like something teenagers would do. These "men" sound incredibly immature.

I don't think education is an indicator of intelligence. It's not hard to get a master's degree for anyone of average intelligence, it just takes persistence. All that said, I think the chances of a high school drop out being a HVM is VERY unlikely.

I think this is something each individual woman needs to decide for herself. If you are only attracted to tall guys then that is perfectly fine and no one should shame you for it. If you are attracted to shorter guys too then that's fine too. Personally I like feeling small and feminine so I like taller guys, but I guess a shorter guy (but still taller than me) who is well built and muscular can make me feel that way too. I'm just not attracted to weak looking men, this includes guys who are tal…

to educate him I don't like this phrase because it suggests you're certain that you're right and he's wrong and you're unwilling to consider the possibility that you might be wrong (even if only partly) and that he might have valid points. From what you've told us of your relationship, it sounds like whenever you have a disagreement (or when you "educate him" as you put it), he always acquiesces to your point of view, and this time he isn't doing that and it's somewhat of a shock to you. But is …

Ok I see, I'm a pretty private person so I'd rather not share personal details online including my relationship status, but if that's something that you want then there's nothing wrong with that. It's just that if you have your relationship status displayed, and you break up, then you have to change it back to single and everyone will know, whereas if it was never displayed in the first place then no one knows you broke up.

Ok I see, I wasn't aware of any of that. But I think Facebook has algorithms which scans posts and links for certain text or phrases and then deletes them, and sometimes the algorithms delete feminist stuff, I doubt the company itself is actually anti-female though.

I don't think he's handsome, but I don't think he's ugly either. He's pretty average looking, and I wouldn't have a problem settling for a guy who looks like him. Maybe we just have different tastes. What are some men who you would consider good looking?

Wow, you're in college and have a job and you're dating a fat, unemployed, uneducated guy who yells at you every day? Why??? What is the end goal here? Are you going to marry this guy? Besides, being in college you must be surrounded by literally thousands of guys who are better than him in every way. And even if you can't find another guy, being single sounds highly preferable to being with the guy you described.

I think shorter women have more options though. They can date average height guys and still feel small and feminine, but a tall girl can only feel that way if she finds an even taller guy and they're rare.

I think seeking a relationship with someone from a different country is in general a bad idea. First, it is too easy to miss signs of LVM behavior if you are not familiar with the subtleties of their culture. Second, with you being in his country, he will have the advantage due to knowing everything better. And finally, you have to wonder why he's looking to date a foreigner, it could be because the local women have caught on to his tricks and he can no longer fool them, so he has to resort to d…

And to look at it from the opposite perspective: If you have kids, then I think dating a single dad is actually better, because you can better relate to each other. Just my opinion, I don't actually have experience dating single dads!

I haven't had much luck but I'm not that conventionally attractive. Lots of losers who still live with their parents or roommates (in their 30s), or "entrepreneurs" (that means unemployed). And morons who can't hold a conversation about anything except sports or video games.

I've said this all along. The only time you should ever date someone with kids is if you also have kids. I don't know why so many childless women date single dads. I guess they don't think they can do any better.

Same here, I don't dislike pets but I find them annoying and a burden. Cats are usually ok, but I used to have a friend who had one that would hiss at me and try to scratch me for no reason. Dogs are just too hyper and constantly want your attention. I like playing with them for a short time but I would never want to live with one. Also they slobber on everything and stink. I don't dislike animals but I want to live in a pet-free house.

You're being downvoted but it's a valid question. She doesn't explain why she has no romantic interest in him, but if it's because he's very unattractive, then this won't work. You can't force yourself to be attracted to someone you're repulsed by.

Bumble has a "verify" feature where they ask you to make a particular hand gesture and take a selfie, to make sure you're a real person and look like your profile pics. Then you get a blue check mark next to your name. I only swipe right on verified profiles. Of course that doesn't prevent them from hiding their fat gut or lying about their height or many other things, but at least it ensures they still resemble their profile pics.
