I know this is obvious, but she needs to have extra charges thrown against her for this type of shit. That's ridiculous
/r/MensRights29/04/15 06:31 AM

This is the biggest circlejerk in this subreddit it's actually a joke. It's ridiculous how people in here think that male circumcision is comparable to female genital mutilation. I totally don't even mind getting downvoted for this as it happens every time I disagree with the ridiculous view most people in here hold towards circumcision.

What do you mean what conceivable impact does that have on me? It's a cultural thing in my family to be circumcised. Literally no guy in my family gives a fuck that they're circumcised, they actually are happy they are. The fact of the matter is /r/mensrights is just full of people who are butthurt over something that really is not as important as other actually legitimate mens' rights issues

I know my whole family is circumcised. It's not that hard to figure out. I don't know why that's suggest a big surprise to you

It's not even majority euro here, it's just the 1% of guys all in one place who are butthurt about their circumcision that hardly affects their life

Too late, you offered a different opinion on circumcision than what most people think here so they'll downvote you because they disagree not because you didn't contribute to discussion. Circumcision is the biggest circle jerk this subreddit deals with. Best strategy is just to avoid circumcision threads because /r/mensrights goes full retard in them.
/r/MensRights04/08/14 07:16 PM

Because /r/mensrights thinks circumcising your kid is genital mutilation for some stupid reason

I know I'll get downvoted to hell but it's not just a religious thing. My family is all circumcised and I would fucking hate to be the only one not to be. It's a cultural thing, not religious for me.

I see your point but there are numerous subreddits just like that for unsuspecting women too. It's really hard to argue that men and women aren't both seen as sexual objects and objectified. I think there's a lot of issues men and women collectively face and I don't think saying /r/LadyBoners or /r/DickSlips is showing men as sex symbols really makes much of an argument.
/r/MensRights01/06/14 11:44 AM

I don't know if this really makes an argument though. There's hundreds of NSFW subreddits devoted towards women on here. I wouldn't necessarily put the girls in /r/LadyBoners on the same page with feminists I don't think.

Thanks for explaining that, definitely makes sense (also knowing the exact lyric you're quoting is cool too). In the context of being frustrated about societal views rather than taking out anger on people who choose engineering it makes sense. I guess writing it as fucking engineering rather than a fucking engineer would've changed it for me as it's showing frustration related to the occupation rather than the person that chose that occupation.

a person, typically a man, that commits rape. a person that commits rape FTFY Oxford
/r/MensRights24/01/14 11:56 PM

There is an extreme difference between male circumcision and female circumcision. It's ridiculous that this sub even classifies them as the same thing. When people are circumcised at birth it isn't "mutilation" as you guys like to call it, it's just ridiculous saying that it is and blowing this out of proportion.

If this subreddit stopped only bitching and solely focusing on topics like male circumcision then I think it could be a lot more useful. I have no source on 99% because it was just a hyperbole, but the butthurt people in this subreddit are most definitely an extreme minority of people who have a problem with male circumcision. Calling it "mutilation" and "the same as female circumcision" is just ridiculous. You're fair to be entitled to your opinion, but this subreddit is just absolute garbage n…

Others find circumcision, aka cutting a part of the penis off, disgusting, what's your point? I have yet to meet a single girl who thinks circumcised penises are disgusting. And yet I can list many who find uncircumcised disgusting. Definitely not even up for debate
/r/MensRights24/01/14 08:31 PM

Well said, definitely agree.
/r/MensRights24/01/14 08:29 PM

Completely agree with you. It should be up to the parents and 99% of people who are circumcised have no problem with it. You just find the 1% of people who are upset about it here on reddit. Circumcision is the most important topic to people here in this subreddit for some stupid fucking reason. Such a waste of time to pursue changing instead of actually looking at actual men's rights violations.

It's certainly refreshing to find someone who doesn't just agree with the hivemind here! Thanks for that
/r/MensRights02/01/14 01:38 AM

I've recently been contemplating unsubscribing seeing as this is one of the only few subjects MensRights cares about..

Same here, but if you agree that circumcision in women is different than with men then you're some "fucked up supporter of mutilating boys genitals".
/r/MensRights01/01/14 07:37 PM

Well said, completely agree.
/r/MensRights01/01/14 07:35 PM

You make a really good point, however 99% of the subreddit will disagree with you because for some reason they see it as absolutely outrageous that you were circumcised (healthier) as a baby which almost everybody except the people don't give a fuck about.
/r/MensRights01/01/14 07:33 PM

Completely agree, however we share a view that 99% of this subreddit doesn't.
