57	A few thoughts on self protection and stalking. As a stalking victim/survivor I feel I need to add this: Dog. Even a little dog will let you know when someone is around. When they greet you at the door, you know right away that no one is hiding in the basement. My very docile dog went full on defense mode when my ex broke into my house.
