All the part you quoted said was that one particular suffrage movement probably wasn't the "primary" reason women got the right to vote. Firstly, not being "primarily" responsible, is not "feminism having no part in it" as OP claimed. Secondly, WSPU was formed relatively late in the women's suffrage movement. Even if the eventual militant actions of the WSPU delayed the onset women's right to vote, that doesn't disprove that other suffrage movements assisted in moving the concept forward

I'd say a big one is socialization and gender stereotypes. When kids are growing up we push certain traits onto them (either consciously or unconsciously). E.g. girls care about appearance, boys care about being leaders, and this creates pressure for a lot of people to want to conform to these stereotypes to fit in. So men are more likely to choose "masculine" jobs, and women more "feminine" jobs.

For one of our recent prac's in my social science class we actually forcibly tied up and castrated all the men in the group. A few of them of them complained but then the professor explained that we actually did them a favour by removing them from the gene pool. By the end of the lesson most of the men thanked for professor for protecting society from them. Really interesting stuff, I'd encourage you keep more of an open mind next time OP

So it makes sense to have a study that particularly focuses on women's jails. Obviously You need consent for things that are cosmetic and provide no benefit for the infant, like Tattoos or circumcision. You can't get this from infants (obvioulsy), which is why we consider it immoral. The argument is about the right to bodily autonomy, but that right is generally suspended in the case of immediate threats to life if the patient cannot consent. It's also suspended for many minor medical treatments for infants that are not life threatening, as long it's deemed beneficial for the child. Circumcision is something that is currently seen as being beneficial for the child, but it shouldn't be viewed that way.

Many factors affect cause the wage gap, and discrimination is certainly one of them. In most higher earning professions, women face significant hiring and promotion bias as well as societal pressures that push them away from persuing these jobs in the first place.

There's absolutely no reason you've stated as to why you want to wear a purse. I like them. I enjoy fashion and I think they look nice. I guess that's not a good enough reason though. Maybe I'll just give in to the oppression and wear a backpack instead. Thanks for setting me straight!

I do! I wear one quite regularly. Unfortunately i receive a lot of hurtful comments from people calling me "fag", "homo", "not a real man" etc. I just wish people were more accepting of men wearing a purse, ya know? If only there were a community I could turn to support me in the inequality I'm facing... Oh well.

Yes but African Americans don't need to be taught not to steal, you're implying that that they don't understand the concept of stealing = wrong, which is obviously false and not why they steal. Men ("some men") rape because they don't fully understand the concept of consent, so "teaching men not to rape" may be "sexist" but it's at least factually correct.

Sure if you simplify it to the point of inaccuracy. Here I'll show you how it's done: Saying group A should be taught not to do crime A is wrong because it's discriminatory AND not a viable solution to the problem. Saying group B should be taught not to do crime B is wrong because it's discriminatory AND not a viable solution to the problem. Saying group C should be taught not to do crime C is somewhat sexist, BUT a viable solution to the problem.
