Yeah, I have to some extent. She will sometimes flat out deny being violent when I know that she's just lying.

Thanks. Yes, I've been seeing a therapist and it has been helpful.

Thanks for the kind words. Sorry you had to go through that, but glad you came out well.

Yeah. I just hate seeing him like this. I know I'll be fine.

Thanks. I gave a call to one of the local 24-hour hotlines. It was nice to get stuff off my chest. We don't have kids, so hopefully we can just work with a mediator and avoid the costs of lawyers/courts/etc. I just wish my Dad wouldn't feel so bad. I love him so much.

Thanks. I'm on my way out. I was dealing with it fine, but I told my parents that I was leaving, and my Dad started bawling. It really shook me. He believes that I'm doing everything right and is just so sad for me. It's so touching because he's the typical macho guy who doesn't show emotion. I can't remember ever seeing him cry before tonight. Sorry for rambling on. I just want to get this off my chest. He's religious, and I think what's bothering him is that I've been dealing with so much shit…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
