Oh so it's not a fantasy, it's a strategy? What do you mean "the lower odds of being satisfied with a partner if she wasn’t the only one"? What is wrong with learning from different experiences, from your point of view? FYI I'm not patronising you, these are legit questions.

At minimum it means he is BI, likely gay. Men don't just "explore" like that. Well yeah, men do "explore" too. Some of them, not all of them (just like girls, mind you). They just show it far less, because representation isn't symmetrical between male and female sexuality. For instance, two drunk teen guys kissing and grinding in the middle of the party wouldn't be rewarded with cheers and applauses as young girls would be in the same setting. To put it simply, girl/girl exploration is generally…

deeply upset to have lost the ability to limit sex to only one lifetime partner Huh. So your fantasy is to have only one partner, am I getting it right? If so, did you develop that fantasy before or after meeting your (now ex-) SO ?

Yes but you're focusing on the elites, whereas I'm talking about the masses - including the elites.

Yes, you can think that if you isolate that variable and if you consider only the elites. That's why I listed other variables and made sure that I was comparing men and women, on average, relatively to each other.

A plausible anecdote, but it's just an anecdote. Unless you think that most CEOs are whipped by their wives?

I think this is straight bullshit. The situation that you describe may happen of course, but I can't see why it would happen more frequently to men in positions of power compared to other men. And certainly not to a point where it would become the norm.

XD come on, you were this close to making the conclusion of who has the power here. Well, let's check who's in charge of who, who gets assaulted by who, who controls higher positions - ON AVERAGE, right? Yup. Still men. Men have the power over women, ON AVERAGE. You may not see that because you're living a SPECIFIC situation, your life, in a given place, at a given time, in a given social context. So it might feel unreal to you, but that's how things go ON AVERAGE. Please. Stop oversimplifying, …

So if your life isn't in order and something is out of balance, fix it first, then come here and debate. I'm not sure about that part. Isn't the goal of confronting your ideas with others ultimately to take the best decisions? And what's the point of debating if you think that you've fixed everything by yourself. I would go for a back-and-forth logic: increment new ideas to try and get better at what you're doing, then express feedback on how things have worked out and repeat.

I can't believe that people living in my time would believe some of that bullshit... Are you THAT obsessed about having sex? Because it looks like your whole perception of the world goes through that lense. And not even in an open-minded, free love perspective; it's all about self-interest and fear. This is sad, really. Just try to see sex as a gift, a token of trust, instead of a game of power and deception. Because let's be honest for one second here, if a slut like you (60+ partners) has a pr…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
