The people who appear on the show are paid an appearance fee in addition to travel expenses. When Judy finds a litigant liable they are paid from a fund maintained by the producers. 1	I got mixed reviews for my article in the paper about reverse sexism. You want equality; pay the difference! I haven't actually looked at the numbers, but I would assume child birth is included. 22	I got mixed reviews for my article in the paper about reverse sexism. You want equality; pay the difference! The way I heard it was that women tend to get into more accidents then men, but men tend to get into bigger accidents. Therefore men pay more for car insurance, because, and I'm assuming, that, women's accidents are covered by deductible and its easier to class women into bad drivers and good drivers based on experience. What doesn't make any sense is that in health care women are expected to cost much more than men yet they have the same rate.
