This is such a bizarre story and I don't know what to make of it. The girl's father was burned to the point that he needed to have his limbs amputated and later ending up dying from it and his daughter is like "Oh no I didn't throw lye at him, I threw bread at him. Men who work as elementary teachers don't suffer from any kind of major discrimination from their colleagues, so the premise of that study is wrong to begin with.
