Shit you in SG? I'd recognise those canals anywhere!

That guy is a mega-simp... I agree. He wasn't focused on the job or being professional. This guy was weak and let his hormones do the thinking.

Yeap, second this. Get in touch with old friends if you can too. Reading and pursuing arts like music and dance is helpful.

Totally agree. Soon afterwards you stop thinking about it and just get on with your life.

Yeah same, everyone here is talking about being a monk while not retaining anything. The irony.
/r/MGTOW209/07/21 12:00 PM

Yup I agree. Retention, though can't be achieved 100%, I would rather not let it out. It messes your dopamine meter, so better to let it out involuntarily (eg: sleep) than consciously. I mean we can't have total control over body, it's just how we're built. TLDR; Retention influences dopamine, so tune your own dopamine meter.

Are other people thinking screw this and doing their own career progression? Yeap. Being technically well versed has its advantages and I'm sure you know it too. You can just apply almost anywhere for a job and get it and also you can choose where you want to work as you choose what you study. The programs and scholarships already know what they want in mind, and it's not us hard workers.

Agree with this. Had this convo with my friend, and he mentioned that he wanted to die at 65, or at the point he can't take care of himself. He didn't find it meaningful being taken cared by others at an old age and that it would be burden to do that. I feel the same way too, but hmm, a bullet to my head, I don't want to decide now.

Ahh I see, those sound annoying. Never really had a basement, so I guess I don't know the troubles they come with. But was thinking of putting a gym if I ever had a basement.

Sweet home Alabama. Nice place, dirt cheap. Personally would've liked another floor and a basement.

21 here too. And I'm seeing this culture in my University too. Every guy makes his decision right down to his apartment based on what his "fiancé" wants. And they're being applauded and envied by their peers as a power couple who has figured out everything in life. As though the rest of world hasn't got it together is enroute to being homeless or something.

One of my friends was in a relationship for a really long time and he decided to break up a couple months ago. He said that though he loved his gf, he felt more focused being by himself and was able to put more time for his hobbies. Soon after that we started having red pilled conversations. He ain't mgtow, but he told me knows all about the false accusations and definitely red-pilled himself. I myself, not sure if I'm mgtow, but I'm definitely red-pilled enough to hold on as long as I can.

I once read in an article that Melinda reduced the methodical thinking of Bill and opened his heart. Like what? He's an engineer that's how he will think. And I'm sure he was making sound decisions before they met and he would have definitely started his philanthropy journey. I am trying to source that article, but now google keeps recommending articles that have been recently published on the divorce. If I find it, I'll add it here.

Yup about right. But your post broke Rule #4. Care to share your opinion in the body? I've seen TAs and even professors being simps while teaching classes. Like just do your job bruv? Best is I've seen a guy in my group project asking for an in person group discussion multiple times in the group. I mean hey, I don't mind a in person meet too as covid has reduced in my country, but every time? I was okay till the second as I didn't mind working in person, but this guy just didn't stop.

ding ding ding she posts on Facebook that shes in another relationship with some guy I've never met or seen. She lied and clearly had been talking to this guy the whole time we were together. I was devastated...AGAIN! This is one of the main reasons why most of us went our own way.

When you go MGTOW, you opt out of the alpha/beta thing. No more struggling to try to be alpha all the time. No more worrying if you're a beta. Opt out and you're free from that shit. Gold!

I would disagree on that, fellow brother. We never let one failure stop us. When we couldn't get that extra rep in the gym or fix our car, we didn't stop going to the gym or scrap that car. We went back there next week or tried to fix again the next morning. Similarly in life we're gonna meet a lot of trashy people. That doesn't make the whole world untrustworthy. All I'm saying is not to put dating and sex as the main purpose of our existing and instead to go on a path that's more meaningful on…

Someone mentioned it one a post before: Go your own way when you're in a position of power: wealth, fitness and peace. Not when you've been rejected, as that would automatically make you an incel. Young men like me have a long time to go, and we could end up meeting someone, the future is unpredictable. But that doesn't mean to let our guard down. It means to hold yourself accountable and value yourself the most.

I don't usually read such long posts, but I just unconsciously did. I've had similar experiences as you bro, especially the one with the "meeting point". The day I went through that, I was not myself, filled with rage, just punching stuff. All those aside, it's been 2 years since, that and 5 months since I'm going my own way. I'm glad I did. Thanks for sharing man. I send my love to you brother, I feel your pain. To all the brothers out there, I love you too! MGTOW. EDIT: Thanks for not ending…

I think it's good. I saw some of the posts, and some have been really traumatised by trashy and abusive men. I guess it's their choice to go their own way. There's only so much we can do to change trashy men, they exists everywhere.

Finally a fellow rational. I joined MGTOW for improving myself as an individual and at times support men like Johnny Depp who are legit victims. But I never joined this community to hate women or swear of marriage. That is just insecure in my opinion. The reason to go your own way, is because it gives you more time to do what you like and improve yourself, like exercising, hobbies or starting a business. It's about exploring. Doing all these gives one less time for dating. Hence it's preferred t…
