2	How do I learn not to give a shit about what people say? I mean how specifically. I personally would say to purposely explore outside your comfort zones. This is any comfort zone you have. Each time gets easier, each time also grows your confidence. When you're used to being in uncomfortable situations, your confidence will not waiver and words will not bother you. If it doesn't feel natural to you, it's probably because you don't practice it enough for it to come naturally. There is no such thing as "perfect" places. 3	Why can't I handle a girl telling me about her sexcapades? I like this explanation best. Sex comes up as a topic due to tension between the two. I would not be surprised to know she understands he sleeps around and this could equate to no more than advertising herself. The situation seems different for him due to the level of investment. 1	How is building social proof different from seeking external validation? Social proof can come from many things. That's why they say in here to talk to as many people as possible, men and women. 2	How is building social proof different from seeking external validation? Imo, the difference is the fact you do not allow the group's approval to be pivotal to your self worth, and thus your confidence. You won't always have that approval considering you may have gone out alone for example. You use it as a social indicator of you for others to pick up on, almost as if it is a mirror of your self worth.
