Isn't "social engineering" almost the entire point of kindergarten? Teaching kids how to be social (in the way the adults see fit)...?

It's not English, it's simple logic: If men built everything ("men built all the things"), then nothing was built by anyone else. Anyhow, I'm really done this time. :)

"Everything" is all encompassing; so if men built "Everything" then they built it all (solely).

But we are talking less than 5%. "every thing" = 100% So even if only 5% (using your number) of physical, on-site builders are women, that means that not everything was built solely by men.
