There's no ads on my blog and I'd prefer to keep it that way. I want to help people, simple as that.

PS. Here's my life story: tl;dr - Basically, traumatic childhood, now a "reformed pickup artist" and owning my shit Shame only survives when we keep things bottled up and a secret... so here's my truth. Get ready for some truth bombs. When I was about five years old, I was sexually molested by some older boys. I was also exposed to porn very young. As a result of this sexual trauma, I became a sex addict, for which I am now in recovery. I was addicted to casual sex and pornography, which not onl…

Yes, I am writing a book (about life, not pickup). Don't see why that's an issue.

I don't make any money from posting this. I'm not selling a pickup product of any kind. I just want to share what I've learnt and help men on the path. In fact, I'll even give free coaching to any sedditors here. PM me if of interest. My website has more info. I've bought countless PUA products, and had pickup coaching; no one has ever once said, "hey, don't objectify women because that'll screw up your game, lead to insecurity and toxic relationships". Instead it was like "bro, she was an HB9, …

Here's my truth: I care because upvotes feed my addiction to external validation ;-) and it means that my shit is more likely to be read.

Do you really think you could get to where you are now by just "being your genuine self?" If you own your shit, and deal with your weaknesses then yes. Out of curiosity, what would you have your younger pre-game-self do instead of learning from Torero et al and getting the experience that pickup provides? My younger self would try to impress and please, because he wants her approval and validation so much, and sees her as the prize. Myself now would see the interaction as two human beings of equ…

Classic Tom Torero advice, haha. But yes - talk to PEOPLE. Not just women. Go make some friends.

Yeah, don't compromise your value system. It is kind of meaningless in a way. Things only have as much meaning as we give to them. As someone who has had many partners, the ones which I remember the most are the ones where we at least had some kind of connection beyond just sex.

The real trick is to stop seeing the woman as a hoop, as a prize. Instead, see her as a fellow fan of basketball, just like you. She also likes to play, and she's also hugely insecure at times just like you (that's why she spends hours trying to look good, and posting stuff on Instagram for validation). If you see her as the hoop, a prize to be won... you set yourself up to fail because you will idolise her, you will act nervous around her, you may even feel you don't deserve her deep down - and…

Not all women from my experience. Microexpressions, voice tonality, body language, eye contact, amongst other things can give you away. One woman noticed I was clenching my jaw a lot... haha. But yeah, faking confidence will only get you so far. It's a lot of work from my experience to keep that act up. Your mask will eventually fall off. That's why doing deep work on yourself, understanding yourself, and owning your weaknesses are so key. Once you stop deriving internal self-esteem from people …

Agreed, that it is part of the bigger picture. But from my experience, confidence is a big part of it.

Why do so many Gamers see rejection as failure? I get what you're saying, however - just because she rebuffs your advance it doesn't mean you've failed. Don't make her decision about you. There could be a 1,000 reasons why she rebuffed you that have nothing to do with you.

You're entitled to your opinion but I think many would consider those things as part of the Game "corpus".

"I know who I am and I know enough that being myself all the time is the wrong answer." Bro. hugs I want you to read that sentence aloud. I really feel for you, genuinely. I get what you're saying, but understand in that case that Game is then an act and not really you.

I sincerely believe that had you been honest with your intentions and not befriended them under the guise of being friends first you might have not been "friendzoned". I believe Mark Manson said something similar.

Understand what your weaknesses are and then own them and don't be ashamed of them. If you need help with this, consider getting a life coach or something, someone who can help you navigate your psyche. I've personally found trauma therapy and 12 step recovery really enlightening. Practice self-care and valuing yourself. This means eating well, sleeping plenty, exercising regularly, developing your social network, working on your passions and crafts.

Having a strategy sets one up for failure I believe. It means that you see her as a prize that you somehow have to win, and ranking her based on a number means you're going to behave differently if she's very attractive - meaning you're more likely to fumble because you'll be nervous. Not caring either way is a sign of real confidence. You don't need her. If you internalise this, I guarantee you that you will become much more desirable and non-needy.

It's a definition of Game. Yes, male attraction encompasses several factors, but I still believe that confidence is king. I once knew a physically unattractive guy who was dating a very attractive woman. Many of you probably know a guy like this, or have seen one in public. Whilst this guy was morbidly overweight, he was extremely confident in himself. I also know that a starving and broke artist can get a girlfriend. EDIT: GENUINE Confidence is king.

HUGE caveat: it's enough to be yourself, provided that you know who you are first. That's why I said in my blog post about owning your weaknesses. I admit that at times I am insecure, dependent on external validation. I sometimes crave the love of a woman because I somehow think she will magically make my life better. I am also a recovering sex addict. By admitting my weaknesses I: Can begin working on those Own it and feel more confident as a result

She sounds pretty confused. She just left her boyfriend for a guy she just met is what I'm hearing. Wouldnt that confuse you if you did that for a girl you just met? If it were me, I'd say "You seem pretty confused. I get it. I think it's best if you have some space to think about what you want" and then just let her be. When she messages you, don't leap back into her. Just be cool dude. If she likes you she'll get back in touch, and if not, dude, there are PLENTY of fish in the sea. No need to …
