She is getting married. Two weeks before she got engaged we met, and I had this urgent feeling that it was last meeting where she was "free". I told her I had this urgent feeling that it was the last meetup... and it was. Anyway this happened last summer, so I had a lot of time to reflect, it's gone, it's history at this point.

Yeah, the red pill of being there when she was betrayed by him, but not there when I needed her.

Well, I think of myself as boring as well, to be honest. All the hobbies I had, I dropped sooner or later. It this endless feedback loop of "why would I do something if it doesnt help me" But I am barely living, thriving for that thick walled, as you said - it is not that easy as in the movies. It's not a life I chose, it's a life I was given.

what's the TRP? No idea. Google comes up with all the marketing nonsense. No, I havent had a fucking chance, we are from the same county, but she stayed behind to study at local uni, I went to another state ~600 miles to top notch uni. So whenever I had the possibility to come home, we met. Informal dating as "friends" but she was with him already. Timeline is kinda wonky here, It would need a whole different thread. The span of my deep love with her was 4 years. Yeah.

To be honest, I was dead inside long before. I dont drink, dont do drugs, no parties, no smoking. Working, sleeping, procrastinating. And as I did my engineering studies that grinded me even more. My life is as plain a sheet of paper.

well, as I am an introverted guy, who has trust issues, it was like a meat grinder. To lose a pretty girl and very close relationship just because she could not fucking wait :/

this is what happened to me. I was going after one friend, we were very close friends but she has decided to go after another guy. I have no idea why, but she really wanted to get married before she was 25. Well, guess what. She is 24 and she getting married this September. Getting married to a guy who was not as close to her, not as understanding, not as compatible as me. Doesnt matter. She wanted to get married quick, and she got it. Life sucks.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
