How do I get an idea of how many jurisdictions?
/r/MensRights13/09/25 02:43 AM

That seems plausible, but I haven’t found much evidence to support that with regards to rape. Do you have any you can share? It’s hard when I’m talking to others to persuade them without some good evidence.

I don’t like hoe_math or think he’s correct, but there’s an image at the time stamped link here that probably explains what Kirk’s basic view is for the proper relationship between men, women, god etc. https://youtu.be/KG3W-df-V-8?si=dsC9RRkaLnyKjWQK&t=473

But I don’t know if those women in your examples are reciprocating in other ways they just aren’t talking about.
/r/MensRights11/09/25 07:47 AM

No. This is all I had to say. I think you might have to get into the details here (like do those women reciprocate in other ways?) but guys have a lot of different preferences.
/r/MensRights11/09/25 07:38 AM

Are you just arguing for the sake of arguing? If the interaction benefits both parties, then women are reciprocating somehow in other ways.
/r/MensRights11/09/25 07:32 AM

Yes, the sort of submission he means it is damaging to men, but it’s not gynocentric. Actually, thinking about it, he’s was a Christian, so he only cares if men obey God. “Godcentric”.
/r/MensRights11/09/25 07:29 AM

So you think those guys just send the women checks once a month and then don’t interact with them otherwise?
/r/MensRights11/09/25 07:23 AM

Kirk’s murder is a tragedy and he wasn’t really for man’s rights, but he wasn’t a gynocentrist. So you could say he was an altruist or a collectivist, where he only cares if men provide value for others or society. "Reject feminism, submit to your husband, Taylor -- you're not in charge." - Kirk.

Men and women have free will. It’s not helpful for you to judge someone by the choices of another. You’ll miss out on the benefit of mutually beneficial relationships, like a friendship, with better men and they’ll miss out as well. It helps other sexists and rapists (since rapists can use proclamations that all men are rapists to delude themselves that they’re just like all other men). Men almost certainly commit sexual assault more brutally and they do it more frequently because men are more c…

Maybe. But maybe men can handle the hardships of socialism better? And women would get poorer as well. And women aren’t hypergamous.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/09/25 02:58 AM

Yeah, it’s nonsense. It only applies in limited circumstances. Though, a difference in sex more significant than a difference in skin color.

One, men and women should pursue what’s best for themselves. So a genuine relationship is mutually beneficial. Two, the primary benefit from a romance is psychological, which is based primarily on personality. The reason why being provided for is a big deal to many women is because many women want to be mothers and many women want to be SAHMs. And many men want that as well. Also, due to the male / female dynamic in bed, from many men and women wanting a woman or man means wanting someone more s…

Unless she’s completely clueless, she knows you’re romantically interested. If you haven’t asked her out again yet, specifically ask her out on a date. If you have asked her out, mention the word date like in a message, like message her the morning of saying you’re looking forward to the date or whatever.

Why do men give bad advice to men? Women aren’t automatically good at giving good advice to men. Some give good advice. Some give bad advice either out of mistake, ignorance, dishonesty etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/25 04:52 AM

I mean, I’m for a man pursuing his own rights for his self-interest? Why else should a man support his rights? I don’t think it’s a woman’s self-interest to get raped or to get affirmative action.
/r/MensRights07/09/25 12:23 PM
1

Sure. That’s what I mean. I don’t think rape for example is actually in someone’s interest or advantage.
/r/MensRights07/09/25 12:14 PM
2

Huh? I didn’t define self-interest? And why are they against rape? Because it’s against the self-interest of the rapist and the victim? And why are they for equality before the law? So every individual can better pursue his self-interest? What do they think is moral? Pursuing your self-interest?
/r/MensRights07/09/25 10:37 AM
-7

Huh? Men’s problems are problems men face in pursuing their self-interest. Left wingers are generally opposed to self-interest in politics. They’re only fine with helping the needier or oppressed stand up for themselves. Why is my point completely pointless?
/r/MensRights07/09/25 10:16 AM

I would say it’s a boy’s self-interest to not face challenges or bias in education. I would say that it’s in a man’s self-interest for there to be equality before the law.

I would say the main reason is that women have it harder when having sex. Men are bigger, stronger, heavier. They can orgasm much more easily. They don’t have to deal with menstruation or pregnancy. They face much less risk of rape or assault. And then there’s the consequences of that on dating.

Definitely not, not to any significant degree.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/25 09:19 PM

Conclusions based on a deterministic model of man are inaccurate since man has free will, though I’m sure some women prefer taller men for that reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/25 03:20 AM

What about the effect of wider hips and wider shoulders on the people who have them. Wider hips benefit women for having babies. And, if wider shoulders are really helpful with protection, then they are beneficial to the man for acting or defending himself.

What was on a paper a response to a 'grassroots feminist movement' was in reality a highly lucrative (and common sense dictates, planned) enterprise for criminal organizations and political powers that profited hand over fist from graft. You’re saying that 2/3 of the House and Senate as well as 46/48 of US states prohibited alcohol because of criminals and politicians? What’s your evidence?

Standards of manliness or masculinity vary across different cultures, subcultures, ethnic groups and historical periods.[8] Traits traditionally viewed as masculine in Western society include strength, courage, independence, leadership, dominance, and assertiveness.[9][10][11][12][13] When women's labor participation increased, there were men who felt less comfortable in their masculinity because it was increasingly difficult for them to reconfirm their status as the breadwinner. Here’s an excer…

In childhood boys are bullied for being like a girl. Girls sometimes also bully boys for being like a girl or they would atleast point out that he's being girly. How does this mean masculinity is defined by not being feminine? Pink used to be a very normal color for men until women took the color. In this example the men conceded territory to women. Same question. And what about blue now being a boy’s color for babies? Actually seems many colors are contested. When it comes to fashion it's very …

Putting too much effort into increasing your looks or into a woman when you don’t have enough reason to like her. Putting not enough effort into achieving happiness, into learning from your experiences, into finding women that are more likely to like you.

Which is worse: murder or a slap? Which is worse: beating someone half to death or a slap? Are you saying that someone who slaps someone has committed an equally bad crime as someone who has put someone in the hospital and should therefore be punished the same amount?

I mean, again that “mate suppression” stuff sounds like it’s using a deterministic model of human nature regardless of what it says, so I’m skeptical both that they really mean free will and that their model doesn’t implicitly deny free will.

If you want to say having sex (which is NOT the same as getting casual sex) is innately easier for men than for women, ok? And men and women deal with that fact in variety of different ways? We want sex because it is the end goal. I meant the end goal is a man’s own pleasure right? Women want sex for the sake of looking down a man. This is just sexist. For women, sex is a tool to get what they want from men. It’s not the end goal itself. Again sexist. And also, for some men sex is a tool to get …

The point you are missing here is that it has become NORMALIZED for women to attack men My initial point was related to movies and a reason why it has become normalized. Okay... and women tend to have little daggers at the end of their fingers... Nails, which aren’t daggers but more like talons or claws. But ok. I've seen some men get MESSED up by a woman clawing his face with her nails.. Which isn’t a slap, so isn’t relevant. But according to you she is "Less of a threat"? Did you read what I wrote? Unlike what feminists have preached, men and women are not equal. Men are stronger, taller and heavier. Usually, but not always, a woman slapping a man is less of a threat to the man (particularly if he has self-confidence and self-esteem) and than a man slapping a woman.

You’re conflating a material trade with a psychological one. A material trade is like when you buy stuff from Amazon. You give Amazon money. Amazon gives you a TV. The mutual benefit is primarily material and it doesn’t particularly matter who each of you are as long as you’re not murderers. A psychological trade is like when you’re in a romantic relationship. It’s an exchange of admiration, love, inspiration, accurate validation etc. The mutual benefit is primarily psychological. Who you are an…

Women do not want to handicap their own sons. That's it, that's the reason. What’s your evidence for this? And what about women who don’t want children yet or at all? She is full of pride and joy, enchanted by her own creation. I mean, yeah because having and raising a child so he can pursue his self-interest better is properly self-interested.

Putting aside social stuff, I’ll grant that women are innately disadvantaged in life. And therefore equal effort from men and women is different. But whether that means a man being a higher earner in a modern society is very dependent.

“She’s not yours, it’s just your turn.” It means that woman in general are sluts, so her choice of you is both meaningless and temporary. Many men have had their turn (sex) with her and more men will have their turn in the future.

you can spin multiple plates (women) at a time Only someone who only wants sex from women talks about women as if they were plates to spin in multiples. And, you portrayed all women as sluts and incapable of commitment, which would make women only good for sex if that was true.

If you want a SAHM, then you’re better off with more resources. Also, if two individuals are equally rational and one has an advantage in life, then you’d expect on average for the advantageous one to have been more successful and the disadvantaged one to be less successful. So if you want to be liked for being reasonable by a reasonable woman, then generally that means being wealthier. Though, there are exceptions and you have to avoid gold diggers.

Your post is an anti-men position that further entrenches the draft. It treats men and women as if their worth is judged by how they serve society. Gross. Just abolish the draft. If you’ve live in a country for long enough and you’ve passed a naturalization test, then you should have suffrage.

One, man’s only method of knowledge is choosing to infer from his awareness. Christianity is implicitly against that. There’s no evidence for god and there’s evidence against god. Two, man is an end in himself, not a means to the ends of others. Sometimes you should double text and sometimes you shouldn’t. Whether you should depends on how much you like the woman (including how much she likes you), how long it’s normal for her to respond, how certain you are she has no good reason not to respond (which depends partly on how much she should be expected to like you at that point). Yes, if you have low self-esteem you have to be careful not to be needy, but if you have self-esteem you can usually just trust your feelings. It doesn’t cost m…

Are cheating men more likely to be violent? Men blamed on both sides: If a man cheats, he's a selfish dog. If a woman cheats, it's assumed he did something to provoke her to do it. How do you know how likely it is for men to be unfairly blamed more than women? Narratives about desire: In society, men are portrayed as lust-driven animals, while women are depicted as being more in control of their libido (e.g., "men think with their penises" is a popular saying, but "women think with their vaginas…

Another thing to add is that if you just ask a woman if she is/was promiscuous, you’re saying you think it’s possible she was promiscuous. If you ask a woman who has given you every reason to think she’s not promiscuous and no reason to think that she is, then she will rightly be offended and will know that you’re being driven by fear or insecurity or whatever. So it’s only appropriate to ask if you have some evidence.

If you want a serious relationship, then you don’t. If you have proper self-esteem you can just express your emotions whatever they are. You don’t have to try and pretend for your lover’s sake. By proper self-esteem I mean that you’re certain that you’re actually competent (from being actually competent) at living/flourishing/happiness and you’re certain you’re worthy (from actually being worthy) of living/flourishing/happiness. Some women just want to complain. And it’s true that it could free them up. But women are still going to want to take BC for the same reason men would want to take BC even if the woman is taking it. How does focusing on helping men change the system?
/r/MensRights11/08/25 02:40 AM

Are you talking about the US? The US gives you a child tax credit when you have a child. It doesn’t objectively define what’s a child support related charge nor enforce a law based on that.
/r/MensRights11/08/25 02:23 AM
1

Ok. And what’s the solution for change besides persuading more people? And what group of people should be focused on? Men or women?
/r/MensRights11/08/25 02:18 AM

The issue is defining in law what’s a child support related charge that doesn’t unduly harm innocent parents and children. And then enforcing that law so it doesn’t unduly harm innocent parents and children.
/r/MensRights11/08/25 02:11 AM

Why are you asking questions assuming what I think needs to be done when I was asking you questions that didn’t express what I think needs to be done? What group do you think persuasion should be focused on to help men? Men or women?

How do you propose to change the current system? Who should be persuaded first? Feminists?

/r/MensRights11/08/25 02:03 AM

I didn’t mean women don’t need to change. Let me rephrase what I said. What if changing the system to be better for men required acknowledging that it was men who primarily set up the system and so that the only way to change it is for men to change first? And the only way for men to persuade enough women to support them is for men to change first?
/r/MensRights11/08/25 01:59 AM

A health savings account is different than a child expenses account. Medical expenses are relatively easy to define, particularly given that the government licenses doctors and approves of medicines. The issue is doing that for child expenses, particularly since the child’s well-being is dependent on the parent’s well-being.
/r/MensRights11/08/25 01:53 AM

It’s completely mistaken to try to justify injustice of any sort. However, what if changing the system to be better for men required acknowledging that it was men who primarily set up the system and so that the only way to change it is for men to change?

If you don’t have a better way for the law to determine what’s needed to support the child and to supervise that the money is being used for the child, this is pointless. What you’re proposing is, in all likelihood, more difficult than you think. But, it’s also something that almost certainly needs to happen at the state level first, so the current federal administration is largely irrelevant.

I don’t understand your response tho, how did you get that from op’s response? “Taking away abortion rights in (some) states isn't descrimination. So, if you’re going to point to women’s rights being violated fair enough, but that’s a separate issue. Eigen’s audience might tend to prefer women with smaller breasts and Asians or whatever. Saori is a former idol and she looks young. They both have equivalent careers. Personally, Sydney is not my type even if she’s hot and I would date her. Many men are aware of how posed and made-up Sydney is in that photo, so they can take that into consideration. Though Sa…

Are you saying that men should act against what’s best for themselves because it goes against the majority? If not I want what’s best for myself. Huh? So what if Western institutions define IPV that way? You trust everything they do? What does that have to do with the fact that it’s useless. Like, let’s say for example that men and women both commit ipv at the same rates, but for men it’s all rape and for women it’s all harming men psychologically. In that case, saying that men and women both commit IPV at the same rates is deceptive. It’s not an apples to apples comparison.

Maybe? If you say traditional masculinity is men sacrificing women for god and feminist masculinity is men sacrificing themselves for women, then trad was less self-destructive when it was reasonable to believe in god. Q4M: When you hear women say they want to feel "protected", what does that mean to you? That women are physically weaker than half the population, that that weakness gives them a disadvantage in physical action and self-defense, that they want a member of the physically stronger half to use their strength for their benefit (which can be fine). Also, most women want a more dominant man in the bedroom as far as I know. I don't think men are doing a great job at this, Why?

Which study is the first quote from? The point is that men generally take the initiative all else being equal, fundamentally in the relationship and overall. It sounds like it’s looking at situations where knowledge/interest is asymmetric, that is where a woman knows she’s interested in a man before the man knows he’s interested in her. And it doesn’t sound like it’s taking into account the power differential between men and women and how people act given knowledge of that difference.

"Feel cucked" is the wrong framing, men want to be desired by their woman more than any other man. It's that simple. Ok. Many women want this to. It’s a human thing. Men are bigger, stronger, heavier, which makes it easier for them to act in general (including in self-defense). They are generally wealthier. Men can orgasm more easily in sex. Men can’t get pregnant from sex. Men can have children more easily later in life. Women, which would you rather be stuck with in a post apocalyptic scenario, a bear or a man? Trick question, you’re going to have to deal with both the bears and the monstrous men. The experiment has already been run and the results are in. If the female body was better suited for survival in harsh conditions, women would have ruled the world and we would have had meninists fighting to overthrow the matriarchy.

If sex is something to a man that he just needs to get out of his system, which is a pretty sad view of sex, then he’s better off masturbating than all the problems and risks of cheating.

There is nothing special about "men's and women's choices in dating" that lifts it out of the realm of mostly bog-standard animal behavior and the study of sexual selection, which has gone on since, well, Darwin. So, you’re the type that wants to believe that the fact that you can choose to think, gain knowledge and choose values is irrelevant to your sexual selection?

I don't think you know where the name "Red Pill" itself comes from. So it’s not from The Matrix? And what does a name that can be confused with almost nothing have to do with how flawed the "movement" is ? The name says nothing about what red pillers actually believe in. It applies to anyone who believes they learned some views they were taught are false and learned new views. Like every single teenager throughout history. A lot of people throw around the term "Red Pill" without really understanding what it is. That’s what you get when a movement is named so badly. And the fact that the movement is named so badly is good evidence that the movement is seriously flawed. The actual Red Pill is about waking up to reality. For healthy individuals in normal circumstances, the pursuit of love is necessary for your life. That is a good lover is so beneficial for your life that if you’re not pursuing it then you’re not pursuing what’s necessary for your life.

This makes it evident men want women more than women want men. Men can more easily pursue women than vice versa, so more men do (particularly for casual sex which is popular on dating apps). It’s just that simple. Most guys also have entitled selfish personalities If most guys do this, then so do most women. Neither sex is inherently morally superior to the other.

Nope. This is just a hasty generalization that relies on men being morally superior to women.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/25 06:15 PM

The same thing applies to social media. The men who are bad at problem solving and who aren’t willing to learn are probably exactly the type of men to complain, usually anonymously, on social media. Speaking personally, I have relationship problems and I consider myself ok at problem solving, but I don’t come onto social media to complain about it. And, if I did, it would be to vent temporarily before I went and solved the problem. And, the bad problem solvers are going to be looking for influen…
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/25 02:17 AM

Men who complain are this sub aren’t representative of the larger population of men. Men who are good at problem solving probably do not come to this sub to complain about their issues.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/25 01:55 AM

I’ve realized that a lot of men complain about relationship issues but never bring up solutions that are reasonable to be successful in relationships. How do you know that it’s enough men to justify saying a lot? You know it’s the sort of thing where the men who complain tend to be the men who aren’t good problem solvers in relationships.

Women have the disadvantage when physically acting and when having sex in comparison to men. Having the disadvantaged party take the initiative is worse for both parties. The good analogy to use is partner dancing. It’s easier for men and women to dance together if the men take the lead. Men are heavier and stronger, so they can more easily physically coordinate their motions. Men are taller, so they can see the dance floor better to dance around other people.

The issue with traditional gender roles is that they are flawed for individuals to achieve happiness, which makes them inherently harmful to those individuals. There are two reasons. One, parts of them are often based on mistaken, usually sexist, views of men and women. Two, parts of them are based on the conditions which no longer apply as society has changed. The solution is better gender roles based on correct views of men and women as well as modern society.

/r/PurplePillDebate24/12/24 02:30 AM

If the man is lying about his fertility to the woman then all bets are off. He has impregnated the woman against her choice. That’s just like a woman baby trapping a man by lying about her birth control or, if something similar to a paper abortion is recognized, lying to the court about a man’s intention to be a father. Or she could threaten to lie to other people about a man’s intention to become a father with the goal of getting him to help her raise her child. If a woman is knowingly having u…

Bodily autonomy isn’t an end in itself. Women require bodily autonomy to have sex for pleasure and choose if they want to become a mother. The right to raise your child and your legal responsibility to do so comes from your choice to have and raise a child. In the case of an accidental pregnancy outside of marriage, there’s no child for a man to have parental rights for. And the woman choosing to have and raise a child doesn’t mean the man is doing so. If the man doesn’t choose to raise the chil…

The main problem with men not being taken seriously is that they aren’t taking their rights seriously. What’s objectively moral? What’s objectively a right? What are objectively man’s rights? You have to know that “revealing clothing” has a wide range of meaning and that different women do things for different reasons. Yeah, you’re going to find examples of women wearing revealing clothing for validation from others regardless of who they are. And I didn’t say it applied to all women wearing revealing clothing.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/24 10:03 AM

Putting aside posting on social media, makeup and dressing can be a way for you to be your ideal self, including in your appearances since that’s a part of who you are. That’s beneficial to you. Yes. If you’re going to talk about which is easier for which, you have to explain how the cause is due to being a man or being a woman. Men have more control in sex when having sex, which makes it easier for them to take the initiative (which is why more men do), which is beneficial for finding someone. Women do get more men taking the initiative with them, but they also get a lot more negative attention from men.

One, it’s not really clear how much better life or society was. Two, the basic issue is that man, nor individuals in general, is not for himself enough. He doesn’t regard himself as an end in himself, but a means to the ends of others (god, the needy, whatever). He doesn’t stand up for what’s factually necessary for his life/happiness as his highest moral purpose. He doesn’t stand up for his unalienable right to life, liberty, property and the pursuit of happiness.

It’s probably true of some women who go for hookups. But even among women who go for hookups, it doesn’t say how they categorize men into those groups. Sort of. That’s the dominant moral paradigm serve the needy, serve the nation, serve “god”, serve society, serve the workers, serve the poor, serve the state, serve the oppressed, serve others and the false alternative they offer is that if you don’t serve others you’re making others serve you. It might be more focused on men in some circles because women can play the historical victim card.

Abortion is not about parenthood, but bodily autonomy Your bodily autonomy is for you to live and pursue happiness. In the case of abortion, it’s about you being able to have sex for pleasure with someone you love and choose when/if you’re going to become a parent according to what’s best for you. You either have only had pathetic men approach you or you have a mistaken view of men. Or maybe you’re not speaking from your own experience at all. Approaching a woman for a romantic relationship isn’t necessarily groveling or begging. As a man, you can learn how to approach without doing that.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/24 09:27 PM

Ignoring someone takes effort. You wouldn’t have had to put in the effort to ignore someone if they didn’t put themselves in a position towards you where you had to ignore them. Approaching someone is an act of power because it means you’re confident enough in your ability to obtain what you want that the reward of approaching is worth the risk.

It’s an act of power to approach someone because that’s how you get to know someone you want to know, by approaching them. Men can more easily deal with romantic rejection or other negative things by women than vice versa.

Even the most stringent pro-lifer would not say the life of the mother is outweighed by the life of the child. No one in this debate is arguing that. No, that’s what the “pro-life” position is. Elective abortions help a woman survive. Being against elective abortions, especially from conception, is anti-woman. It is sacrificing the woman for the zygote. And there’s no objective way for the law to …

You still would need to prioritize one or the other. What has to be there first for you, love or sex? Both the precursors to love and sex have to be there, admiration and sexual attraction.

I don’t see that there’s any need to take it down.

They go hand in hand. Love is necessary for sex ie great sex. Sex is necessary for love. You can’t choose one without the other. I don’t think your examples are really sustainable except under circumstances people would rather not be in. Why isn’t the first interested in love? Why is the second not interested in sex?

That has nothing to do with this. You’re assuming that by living frugally to enable splitting expenses with a lower earning partner, you’re “giving up” something. But if they were living frugally to begin with they, by definition, aren’t “giving up” anything. For one, are you only talking about the people who live frugally? Why are you limiting your discussion to those people? And you’re ignoring my point about the relative value of money. If they are splitting expenses equally, then the frugal …

If you were already living relatively frugally because you wanted to save, you’re not “giving up” anything. I already addressed this issue in my original reply to you, where I explained about how money is worth less to people who make more money. Living with someone else, especially a romantic partner, makes housing a lot cheaper. You could plausibly live a similar lifestyle compared to when you were single, while spending less. Not if you’re a billionaire and your beloved makes $100k.

Making more money means you can afford a higher standard of living. Making less money means you can afford a lower standard of living. If you live within the means of the person who makes less, then you are decreasing your standard of living compared to what it could be. You’re giving that up. If you’re a billionaire living within the means of someone who makes $50k per year, then you’re giving up on the billionaire lifestyle.

Why would it be fair to demand more from a partner? The question is why you should except more, not demand more. And why? Because if you, as the higher earner, get your better lifestyle with your beloved. If you keep yourself to living within what your beloved can afford, then you’re just making your life worse. Are you really going to give up your more expensive lifestyle because your beloved can’t afford to split the expenses equally? You’re going to give up living in a better house, eating be…

You have a study for that? Specifically for men who are essentially responsible even if not technically wholly responsible.

No, it’s not. Women don’t cause themselves to be assaulted. They are not responsible for the fact that they have to work through baggage. Some male virgins are wholly responsible for their state. And, for those who aren’t responsible at all, they just got unlucky. That’s reality. Someone didn’t literally choose to assault them when that person could have chosen other wise.

No, it’s necessary for my survival to choose to pursue the best survival for myself. You can’t be for your own survival while choosing something worse for your survival.

However, men who… make creepy, sexual remarks often do so because they have enough options and aren’t worried about the results. No. That’s not the case speaking from first hand experience when I’ve made creepy remarks. The creepiest remark I ever made was because I was frustrated. Putting aside that sometimes men are unintentionally creepy, men who are reasonable and interesting in a LTR aren’t intentionally creepy. There is literally no point in making them. But they don’t do it on OLD where y…

By evolutionary logic, we wouldn’t have evolved to be attracted to things about people that they can control Man’s means of survival is his rational faculty and it only operates by choice. Good genes don’t mean anything for someone’s survival if they are irrational. Good genes don’t mean anything for your child’s survival his other parent is completely irrational. Of course, there are exceptions and ways to trick people into thinking you have better genes (pretending your personality is natural …
