You don’t see the point or a good outcome because you haven’t tried to overcome this feeling/perspective. I can’t help you understand this any further of we’ll continue talking in circles. Therapy is the answer.

And that’s exactly why you need to discuss this in therapy and work on overcoming this. It’s unhealthy and you’re going to eventually regret all the romantic/sexual/and other experiences you missed out on in your 30s, 40s, + because you were stuck in this toxic mindset that’s limiting you. This sounds like an absolutely terrible way to live day to day.

Not necessarily, it depends what needs to be accepted. Again it’s not over for you to experiences similar things that you missed out on in your younger years. Healing that will benefit you. As many other commenters have suggested, therapy is the answer. And as unco…

It seems you have a very warped perspective regarding life ‘milestone experiences’. I understand the media we consume is the biggest influence of this, but at some point it’s necessary to grow and accept that life is a lot more arbitrary than what’s been portrayed on tv/film. Our sexual experiences are not as limited by such things as our age, finances, appearance, etc. as we tend to assume. And of course limitations exist from those factors, but they’re fewer than you think. Besides, being in y…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
