2	Refused a flat letting because I'm male It's not fair but to have any chance at overturning the decision you need to show you've been materially harmed and that's going to be hard to prove. If the letting advert didn't specify "females only" then you could request compensation for the time the letting agent wasted, and costs you incurred in viewing the flat (parking, petrol etc) but even that is a stretch and they'll likely just laugh you out of the shop.
