Everything you stated above sounds true. These are all horrible situations that would all be avoided if we had state mandated paternity tests.

I live in the state of Florida, and this is 100% how it works here. The state will not let a man out of his responsibility, even in cases of paternity fraud, unless the biological father can be found, or another man is willing to take responsibility. If the mother is unable or unwilling to provide information on bio dad, the “father” is on the hook full term. Keep it in your pants fellas....

Ok fine. “Sign the birth certificate” is a figure of speech of sorts. Its easier to say than “allow yourself to be put on the birth certificate as the custodial father without dna evidence” As a man, your opportunity to contest paternity is before the birth certificate is formalized. Getting it changed after the fact requires either the cooperation of the mother or tens of thousands of dollars in legal fees and likely years of time, during which you’re likely still paying child support.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/19 12:30 PM

Because if you sign the birth certificate, you’re fucked. It’s not in the best interest of the state to let a man out of parental obligation, because that obligation will likely fall on the state. If a man signs the birth certificate and finds out later he is not the father, he is on the hook until the real father is found. This is entirely up to the discretion of the mother, if she doesn’t want the real father found, he won’t be.

False, it’s in everyone’s best interest for everyone else to be a productive member of society. If you’re not productive your either a criminal or a mooch. Either way it’s costing the productive people. And the idea that a country’s government doesn’t have influence over the course of its society is absurd. Even in a “free” country like the U.S.

Society cares about us being productive citizens, the messaging we receive in life is towards this goal. Turns out you don’t have to be happy to be a productive citizen.

I’m not sure what being mixed race has to do with anything. Yeah the rest though sounds like a terpers worst nightmare. As far as the wall, a woman’s looks fade with her fertility. It’s evolutionary biology, a clue to men not to invest effort into fucking her, as said fucking is unlikely to cause reproduction. Yes men also get old and fat, yes they let themselves go. No not all men are George Clooney or Tom Cruise. None of this changes the fact that women do experience a period of accelerated ag…

I get what you’re trying to do here but your metaphor doesn’t work. The gazelles aren’t evasive because they want the highest value predator to eat them. They would prefer not to get eaten at all.

When I say joint custody I mean 50/50 custody. What you describe where I live is called primary physical custody and visitation. 50/50 = no child support, primary custodian gets child support. I don’t understand this whole “making a new life for himself” and how it only applies to men. Do women not also have to make a new life. Are men incapable of sacrificing this new life for their children, while women are altruistic angels that sacrifice everything? Get the fuck out of here with that.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/19 02:38 AM

The first example had legal rights, but only had visitation every other weekend. Paid child support and alimony of course. IDK the specifics of the second, he had supervised visitation and had to take parenting classes and anger management. Neither of which he needed, but he did it.

I disagree that most men don’t want it. At least not men that married and had planned children. I believe the majority of these men would want joint custody. Even so, if that is the case, that most men don’t want custody, is the a good reason to deny custody for the ones that do? If a man wants joint custody, but the woman fights it, but still request child support, how is that not theft?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/19 02:16 AM
1

Why is it so hard to believe that a man would want to have full time custody of his kids? Just because most men don’t want this doesn’t mean the men that do should be dismissed. If I were married, and my wife left me, I would want full custody. She’s the one that’s leaving, let her leave. I have several friends that petitioned for joint custody and were denied. One had a very young son, and his wife decided to leave. He was just starting his career, and had been in his current job less than six …

Why not? Who says the father wants more children, lots of men wouldn’t feel the need to have more if they still had access to their original children.

I found the statistic, it was 17.5 percent as of 2013. 1/3rd of the rate of the mothers. Were obviously talking about residential custody here. There is no cost associated with decision making. I’m not asking for nor do I expect men to request sole physical custody without due cause. But you said it yourself, physical custody usually PRESUMPTIVELY goes to the primary caretaker. Because a man got married, CHOSE to be the primary bread winner (conversely, the wife chose to be the caretaker), he is…

Maybe I would want to have joint custody of my (imaginary) kids because I love them and want to be a part of their lives. I would love to be a father some day. The thought of having all that, and then having it taken away, is why I’ve never settled down. I grew up with divorced parents, and had limited access to my father growing up because of my mother. I also had a step father, who had restricted access to his children because of his ex wife.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/19 12:44 AM
3

When you say sole custody, do you mean 100 percent without visitation. What is the rate of sole custody for fathers? I bet it’s significantly less. I specifically mentioned in my post that this isn’t as prevalent anymore, but I do believe it still happens.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/19 12:39 AM
2

I think it’s the default granting of custody to the mother causing the child support payments that bothers men. I know this is becoming less common today, but a lot of the guys on here seem older and may have been divorced a while ago. I’m single and have no kids. But if my hypothetical wife decided to leave me, and forcefully takes my children away, and expects me to give her money, yeah I’d be pretty salty too. Like change my name and move to Thailand salty.

Men aren’t complaining about the existence of the draft (there has not been one in my lifetime and I’m now aged out), they’re complaining about the double standard that independent wymens don’t have to register. I agree about rape, but having getting kicked on the balls on the list is just stupid. That’s what makes this post look trivial and random.

Creating an environment in which a certain type of behavior (from others) can thrive does not make you responsible for that behavior. People (even women, contrary to some opinions) are responsible for their own actions.

So your saying only people who allow themselves to be used get used? Wow that’s profound. Why is it a mans fault that he gets used but not a woman’s? It’s like your implying women can’t/shouldn’t be held accountable for their own choices/actions.

Lol no I didn’t fully read it, but I went back and read it now. What nonsense. You say hypogamy has the capability to be predatory, but hypergamy doesn’t? How is using a man for his money not predatory? When I say that status is different for men and women, I mean the things that men and women value in a relationship are different. Men value youth, looks, and fertility. This overrides any other status the woman may possess, which is valued by society as a whole. Each of these women were in their…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/19 07:41 PM

How do you come to the conclusion that hypogamy can cause emotional damage but hypergamy can’t. A man that discovered his wife only chose him because of provider status, who gets cheated on cuz he doesn’t give her the tingles, that guy has some emotional damage. Status for women and status for men is different. Trump didn’t choose younger women, the women he was with lost status as they aged, so he found a younger one. They were all around the same age when he met them.

This change in thought has been caused by the incel infiltration. They need to come up with a rationalization why they’re not getting laid, therefore the sluttiest of women have now become prudes.

If this is the case, as I assume it is for some, does it really change anything from the male perspective. If a woman has her wild/adventurous phase, then her desires change later on to settle down and find a partner, is it not fair that the partner is upset that he didn’t get to share that adventurous phase with her? I’m not saying she’s not in her right to do it, but i feel the conversation revolves around the mans willingness to accept it. Why should he be willing to? This assumes of course t…

LOL more shaming language. Now I’m desperate. In the entirety of our discourse I have yet to make an attribution to you as a person. But so far, according to you, I’m a desperate internet shut in. /r/PurplePillDebate14/04/19 01:55 PM

The purpose of mentioning the manosphere is full of internet shut ins, while debating with a man who identifies with the manosphere, is to imply that said man is an internet shut it. Classic shaming language, also attacking the debater instead of attacking the argument. I never said that having degrees and being successful does not make you a higher value woman in society. There are other ways to be high value other than being attractive to women. A true high value man understands this. Feminist shaming language has been attempting to change what men find attractive for decades. It hasn’t changed anything, we’ve just gone underground.

Your conflating what a high value mans ideal woman is with the woman he eventually settles for. OP was asking for ways to attract the attention of a high value male. IMO the best way to do so is to conform, as closely as possible, to his ideal. Assuming said high value man has a choice between an attractive 23 year old woman, and a 30 year old “career woman”. The idea that there is a lack of dating advice for women compared to men is laughable. TRP is a fringe subreddit, and yes, The TRP sub isn’t the only resource, but it’s the main one (it’s also quarantined, minimizing its future growth). The amount of books, tv shows, magazines, online “dating coaches”, that cater to dating and sexual strategy for women is enormous, when compared the same resources dedicated to men. People complain about online dating all the time. The truth is, most people have horrid dating profiles. Out of date, grainy photos, or photos that should not be in a profile. So I did misread and misquote and I apologize. I still find it interesting though that you didn’t directly compare women love for man vs mans love for women. It’s like you’re saying women have the greater capacity for love in general, just not towards men. For the record I don’t think either sex has the capacity to love more than the other, mostly because there is no way to quantify love. Also I think romantic love is circumstantial for both sexes.

There’s a difference between lowering her standards to someone clearly below her and evening the playing field. A man on the same level as a woman still has a lot to offer a woman. I agree most men will be unhappy with a woman that is clearly out of their league. Also it’s possible said man will just try to pump and dump if the thinks he has a chance, because he doesn’t think it’ll work in the long run. When people here say women should lower their standards, I don’t think they mean lower them t…

Yeah I’ve lost a significant amount of weight. Someone used the term invisible earlier, and that’s pretty much what I was. I was previously obese and am now in the high normal range of BMI. Weight training has given me more muscular arms and shoulders. One thing I’ve gotten comments on is the vascularity of my arms and forearms. Apparently that’s a masculine thing that chicks are into. It’s helped with dating, both having more confidence, and women being more receptive. The thing I find more int…

I don’t think there is a female equivalent to the beta male. If attacking the question from what is the female equivalent of the beta standard “just be yourself and you’ll find a woman that loves you”, that’s obvious. The female equivalent of this is the strong, educated, independent woman. Society has lied to her and told her that men will covet this. It’s not that there aren’t men who will, but it’s not the men these women want. The successful men could care less.

Asking someone out isn’t the same thing as having sex with someone. I think I figured out why I have such a problem with this though. To me it seems that a persons feelings and philosophies regarding sex/intimacy should be intrinsic and unable to be changed by outside influence. Is it not strange that with one man, a woman will have meaningless sex with little afterthought, and with another man sex is something that has profound meaning that should be cherished and appreciated? That one can be h…

No. The second paragraph is about getting into a relationship. The 4th is about controlling the sexual experience once that relationship commences.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/19 12:05 AM

I still can’t get past this idea that if you care for someone more you’re less likely to sleep with them. Doesn’t that mean they’re more likely to sleep with someone they care less about.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/19 12:02 AM
1

My theory would only be as silly as your example if no woman had ever used sex to control a man before. For something to be impossible, it has to not have happened before.

So she’s less willing to have sex with him because she respects him. So if she respected him less she would be more willing to have sex with him? Is this where the idea that women are attracted to assholes comes from?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/19 11:41 PM
1

Second paragraph is conscious behavior, fourth is subconscious, IMO.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/19 11:38 PM
2

If you consider that every relationship has a power dynamic, and that historically, the primary method women had to expert power over men was to control access to sex, then a man thinking he has unlimited access to his woman sexually is counter to the female imperative.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/19 11:35 PM
3

But you do it anyway?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/19 11:02 PM

As stated above, I believe women use sex as a method of control in LTR, and define the nature of the sexual relationship by placing limits on access to sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/19 10:52 PM
5

I guess I just don’t understand how sex can be so intimate with one guy and utterly disposable with another. How does another person affect the value you place on having sex/intimacy?

/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/19 10:23 PM
6

I do live in the real world, in the real world women use sex to exert power and influence over the men they are in a relationship with. This doesn’t work on Chad, Chad will find someone else to fuck, it works on relationship guy though. Are you trying to tell me this isn’t a thing that happens “in the real world”?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/19 10:23 PM
4

What about women who don’t have children, what is there motivation for going beta?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/19 10:17 PM
6

But why can’t you have sex with relationship guy. What is it about seeing a guy as relationship material that makes you not want to sleep with him?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/19 10:15 PM
1

At that point in her life she is getting everything she wants. She doesn’t plan on being a sexual creature for too long after her children are born.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/19 08:01 PM
5

Well yes obviously. That’s not the point. If you consider that relationships are transactional in nature, what do men get out of it. They get sex and the possibility of having children. Both of these goals are better served by finding a youthful partner. Another reason men dislike this strategy is they can feel the cynicism in it. Women spend their youth having casual sex, or in relationships they know aren’t going anywhere. Then they get a little bit older and their priorities change. They star…

From a mans perspective: When women use a dual mating strategy, such as the famous AF/BB. She still gets everything she would want from a long term partner. The man she eventually settles doesn’t. For LTR, women value comfort, security, beta provider qualities. Men primarily value a woman’s youth and sexuality. When the woman delays seeking a LTR, in the end she still gets exactly what she wanted. If anything the older man she settles with is in a better position to provide it for her. The man o…

I’m saying I never claimed it’s easy to have sex if your skinny. I’ll flip it on you. Do you really think being fat isn’t a hinderance to getting laid? I know chubby chasers are a thing but a very small minority. Everyone else would prefer their partner be thin. Some would also rather not have sex than have sex with a fat person, myself included.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/19 06:07 PM

Women don’t state they are open to approach, they give cues. It is the mans job to properly interpret these cues. If the man doesn’t initiate it could be because he isn’t interested, or it could be that he would have been interested but didn’t read the situation properly. For the sake of her own ego the woman has the option to believe the dude misread. If a man approaches and is rejected, he doesn’t have this option. Also, in the #metoo era, continuing to approach a woman after she has rejected …
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/19 12:40 AM

Nonverbal cues, IOI’s as they call them in the PUA community. If a woman gives a man flirty eyes, plays with her hair, and has open body language, and the man doesn’t respond, she can rationalize that the dude just didn’t read her cues. If a man actually initiates and is flat rejected, he does not have this option.

Yeah I’ve tried that before, I know PPD is filled with enlightened women, but out in the real world this strategy isn’t really well received. I’ve developed a new strategy. I just go ahead and pay it, if she doesn’t make an effort to split I never contact her again. Unless she puts out, then she might get a second date😂😂.

It’s kinda hard to know before the waiter puts the check on the table. Lots of women out here that are into selective equality (when I at suits them).
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/19 12:13 AM

Women on here are always saying how their attraction is more complicated than just looks. They’re attracted to personality and confidence. That a man with average looks can overcome this by displaying these characteristics. How can you do this without cold approaching. A woman who is giving IOI’s without conversing is doing so based solely on what you look like.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/19 12:10 AM

Did you see the poll where 30 percent of dudes under 30 haven’t had sex in the last year. These be desperate times.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/19 12:03 AM

Putting yourself in a position to get hit on is not the same thing as actively pursuing. If you give a guy open body language and flirty eyes, and he ignores you (or doesn’t decode the clues) it’s not the same blow to the ego as actually expressing interest and being rejected.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/19 12:01 AM

Just because a woman makes her own money doesn’t mean she doesn’t expect you to spend yours in order to be graced with yo her presence. Lots of independent wamens scoff at splitting the check on a first date.

5

Do you truly believe it’s not true?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/19 11:50 PM

Yes I understand this is not the case for all men. Your point is women will approach and initiate with extremely attractive men. I agree. The inverse is that this doesn’t happen for above average/average/less than average men. These men represent the overwhelming majority.

What your saying is it sounds like what men currently experience?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/19 11:45 PM

Where did I say it was your responsibility? My point was that while splitting the cost of dates might be the norm in your experience, it is not the experience of society as a whole. The fact that you answered this way shows that you know this.

/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/19 11:39 PM

When you say approach, do you mean expressly show interest and intent? That is not my experience. Women usually find a reason to be around a guy they like and wait for him to initiate. Giving indicators of interest and actually initiating are not the same thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/19 11:18 PM

You seem triggered, maybe take a breath. If you were to actually read my post you would see it is gender neutral. This was for two reasons: Many women now make more money than their spouses and thus could be divorce raped. I hoped I would be able to start a real discussion instead of getting ranty responses like yours.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/19 03:08 AM
2

So hypergamy for everyone then?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/19 02:52 AM
22

Yes I would be fine with it... As long as said man was fine for paying 100% of the mortgage, upkeep and maintenance, and furnishing. I could then take the money I would normally contribute towards housing and invest that in my investment portfolio. This imo would be advantageous for me as a woman, as there are multiple investment strategies that will earn a greater return than appreciation on a home. I would also have greater liquidity, as it is easier to sell stock/bonds than it is a house.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/19 07:25 PM

Odds are after 5 years of marriage your not having sex anymore anyway, so what’s the loss? In all seriousness though. It’s obvious this question is in response to the paternity question that was asked earlier. It also relates to the women’s empathy question that came up yesterday. /r/PurplePillDebate21/03/19 07:48 PM

The reasons why you want someone who makes the same or more than you are obvious. You didn’t answer my question though. Almost all women expect the men they partner with to make the same or more than them. This by default means the men have to settle for someone who makes the same or less. How is it not hypocritical to reject a potential partner because they make less than you, and not expect someone who makes more than you to reject you?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/19 02:48 AM
1

You say you want a guy who makes the same or more than you. If he makes more that means you make less. Why is it okay for you to feel this way about someone who makes less but not the guy? By your logic he should feel that you will put less effort into yourself and the relationship and should exclude you as a potential partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/19 08:57 PM

I have another theory as to why women delay sex with men they deem “relationship material”. Women have been conditioned to use sex as a tool in order to exert control and influence in a relationship. Delaying sex with relationship guy is just setting the parameters of the relationship going forward. It is the woman saying “I am the gatekeeper of sex and it will always be that way”.
