I could see this being true, since women aren't required to do a thing about the seat typically, and aren't going to think about lowering the lid as much as a guy is going to think about lowering the seat.

I don't understand it either. Why aren't women supposed to put the toilet seat up? IMO the correct answer is the top lid should be down so where the seat is is a non-issue. But as long as it's flushed, I don't really give a damn where it is.

I like this and it also applies to my feelings about gay rights - that feminism and even this sub needs to exists just further highlights the inequalities between men and women because in the worst light, they resort to one-upping each other on wrong-doings. As a female who strongly opposes forced circumcision on men (and women), it's dumbfounding how often in an discussion amongst women the opinion that "an uncut dick looks icky" or "cut dicks look hotter" comes up and is expected to be a valid point.

There has been a rising whiplash effect in sexism and it's become acceptable for men to be shown as stupid, weak, lazy, etc (see any commercial about getting a man to take out the trash/do household chores/etc) ... this is taken to an extreme where there are even cases of domestic abuse where the woman abuses the man.
