Just last week a guy posted a "controversial" opinion on a topic and everyone that replied to disagree with just got his response of "I have 6 likes" "I now have 15 likes". Every one of them. He just commented his current like count as if it were some form of rebuttal. That's an extreme case of it, but yea. Some people can be swayed to believe the majority,regardless of what it says.
