Just as a point of reference - I'm a flabby manlet and those lifts are pretty close to mine ( 5'7" 155) 90 OHP, 115 BP, 125 BR, 205 DL, 170 SQ.

Wife finds "The Art of Seduction" on my bookshelf (it's not hidden, I think it's a cool book, shrug) "What's this all about, some kind of player shit?" "It's some prose about seducing different types of women. Would you like to know which type you are?" The sex was good.

If it was me I'd firmly but calmly put her on a well-defined allowance until she gets a job. Honestly though? If everything else is good (she puts out, cooks, is on top of her FO duties) and you aren't really hurting for the money, it seems foolish to nuke anything over this.

I agree, if she's a good FO, the only issue is if it's an expense that should have been okay'ed. It's reasonable to have a clear discussion about the spending rules. It's going to be different for every situation. For us 200ish is "heads up" territory, and pushing a thousand is "let's discuss this." Everyone should be on the same financial page, and unless you've totally deferred finances to your wife, you should really be in charge of this. A friend told me once "unclear expectations are the so…

Pretend she's putting on a melodramatic performance for you (she basically is), and when the right cues come up, go "oh she didn't" or "oh, great, that's awesome." Literally all she needs from you. Just don't let it go on for a fucking hour.

YMMV. I don't have a lot of the problems other folks around here have, so a lot of the time I see these kinds of things as opportunities for fun. Edit: To sound less cunty. I read your post. That'd piss me off too.

I'm curious what the take here is if you were to make it an "overt" contract? It doesn't sound like your relationship is in the dumpster, you're just grabbing a tip. If you are otherwise being fun and flirty etc., why not make a game out of it and straight up offer to shave up how she likes in exchange for whatever sexy/fancy/trashy look you'd like out of her? "Sure I'll shave but you're gonna wear _______ and do ______ , or no dice." *sly smile*

I'm in my early thirties and I have had to come to grips with the fact that one of my life's single biggest unfixable mistakes was staying in a LTR in college. She's a college girlfriend. I can tell you with high certainty you will not marry this chick. And if you do - in my experience, you will both change as people drastically as you push to your 30's. If you marry her early she may not be the same person you knew.

I might have missed some context, but why can't he sleep on the couch? Is it a dorm room...?
/r/askMRP03/05/18 03:09 PM

Hm tricky. I think you handled it pretty well on paper, but the context makes it sound like she's not buying it. If she's coming at you with "you're doing this shit all the time" then it's possible you're just trying too hard? If you don't naturally have that "kind of a dick" streak then the AA might feel pretty forced. What do think would have been different if you'd just said "my melatonin, I'm getting to sleep." ?

I missed that 6-8 months. OP, it's not a book club. Do the work. Figure out which gym you're joining (today) and fix that doornob (fucking today). I will say - as a slowly recovering scrawny skinnyfat fuck, lifting is a magical doorway to unfucking so many things. It's not the first priority b/c all of these guys are ripped dudebros - it's the first priority b/c the benefits to you are so intangible and numerous it's just retarded not to do it. Go jot some wins down. edit: clarity

Terrible. My wife is a SAHM so I “let” her do pretty much all of the cooking, though in fact, that's just the excuse that I use to not take responsibility for my own diet (or learning to cook). I started making the weekly shopping run. I don't always do it but if my schedule allows, I get up crazy early on Sunday and go knock it out with no one in the grocery store. By the time wifey is getting up I'm home with groceries put away. I let her know what options we have for the week. I typically onl…

She. Her. She. Her. She. Her. Her. She. What are you doing in 3-4 years, my dude? But yea - My wife is very smart and motivated. She is competitive and likes having a strong profession and making a meaningful financial contribution to our marriage. Obviously we make a lot of back-of-the-napkin judgments on people, but to me, this kind of person is not going to be stoked to give up their career for children. There's probably a compromise in there somewhere though.

How about the Gentleman's STFU: A single index finger, momentarily raised, while you concentrate on whatever thing you are doing and don't look away.
/r/askMRP27/04/18 02:46 PM

Too many guys here seem so intent on "punishing" their wives by intentionally avoiding phone calls This feels true to me as well. It's good to say less and STFU for a lot of reasons, but unloading your baggage/resentment of your wife by ignoring her is not one of them.

If it worked it worked. I kind of wanted to edit the TP but since you were put up for examination I'll out myself to you instead - literally last night, in some evil twist of fate, I was forced to say nothing in response to a shit test over some jealous snooping she did. Nothing major but she did scoop me...I was off guard. All I could muster was some big sarcastic raised eyebrows and a "hmm". I carried on my work. And y'know what? It was like sorcery. I honestly couldn't believe I'd passed it. …

Update from yesterday's story. Wife went to bed angry last night because i told her I'm going to get a gym membership if the in laws don't move out in a month. Bro is she the fucking boss? Just go get a fucking gym membership, they're like $30 bucks a month. If you can't afford one without running it by her, she should be mad, because your ship is a fucking mess. Side note - the membership is more valuable than just equipment. It's a place to fuck off to for a couple hours a week, which is fucki…

You keep saying OI...but this doesn't sound like OI to me. OI/outcome independence is just not acting like a fag when you don't get any. The knowledge that she isn't special, that you are the prize and you'll get laid one way or another, is what feeds true OI. Most people's problem with OI seems to be the fine line between DGAF and butthurt (it's really hard to "fake it" if you are truly butthurt, your wife knows you and she'll sniff it out - plus all of her past experience with you. You aren't …

Take it down a few notches, this reeks of rambo, just be careful. Sounds good though. 5 days...is insignificant, but it sounds like you had your shit together when you guys started out. Like you dusted off the old you and took him out for a spin and she reacted well.

Bro I feel like I just read my life story. So similar. Together 19 years - so you guys hooked up at 21 and never looked back. LD until you could move in. Identical to my first wife. Lot of the same problems as you - I was prototypical Mr. Nice Guy - I solved every problem with more sacrifice. Wife lost her job - I got a 2nd one. She was depressed, so I cleaned the house too. Somehow while I was doing this to keep us afloat, I was also emotionally abusive, and so on. Honest though? I was a fag an…

It wasn't for me. I was taught a lot of this as a kid, by a pretty RP father. I rebelled against him in my 20's and went full disney. Jesus. Later in life I realized he was pretty much right about shit, and at some point stumbled into the literature. So my background is more of a "natural" who is now taking notes and staying sharp. I look at my relationship a bit like a hot project car. I love it, it makes me feel good to have it, but it could always use some fresh spark plugs, an oil change, et…

Here's another line of attack, so to speak. If your frame isn't strong enough to bust her open dirty, then own her "tidying up" routine a bit more. Inject your "D" into it. Next time, YOU do the planning for her. "Bath by 8, and I expect you to be wearing [that thing I like] and waiting for me at 9." (or whatever) Make her routine part of your dirty little game until you can bust her open a different way.
/r/askMRP17/04/18 04:40 PM

You need some frame built up to pull this off correctly IME. Just peacing out early on is going to come off as butthurt, because it is. Stay fun and sexy without being a little bitch about it. "Guess my little slut doesn't want to have fun tonight...guess I'll go see what else is fun." Smile. Hold her down and give her a kiss. YMMV, I like to tell her I'm going to punish her (with some kink) next time. Sometimes subtle sometimes overt. Instead of her remembering the butthurt - you've given her a…

If she is a strong woman your pushing through LMR is a huge turn on. This can be hard to accept as you leave Betadom, but it is a thing. This is money. When you learn the "D" in DEVI...for the right women...it feels like sorcery sometimes.

That is kind of what I was getting at. I assume she's capable of it and get on with my day.

Next time she complains about being dirty, pick her up, throw her on the bed with as much loft as you can muster. Get on top of her, hold her down, and tell her you like her dirty.

I mean that is basically what it was for before all the retarded shit they added. I honestly question why anyone over 20 would be using snapchat.

If you go to FB, the search bar has a magnifying glass. It'll show you recent searches. If you hit "Edit" it'll show you the full search history. (there is probably another way to it in the UI, but that's how I get there.) Fun fact, you can also delete searches from here.

If you want it open and shut, throw a keylogger on her phone. I am pretty sure you can put one on without rooting it. Probably the easiest way to intercept anything over snapchat, as it "should" log every keystroke. Never done it before though, and you'll need some access to the phone.
/r/askMRP16/04/18 09:17 PM

Second this - do not confront her. She will lie, you'll gain nothing, and if you don't break it off, her OPSEC will improve significantly.

OP, you'll get better responses once the legit guys show up, but here's my take. Your hamster is spooled up. Being RP is acknowledging some truths. AWALT. It's your turn. My wife is lit, my perfect little unicorn. Want to keep her forever. Doesn't matter - I never forget that even for her: AWALT. IMO: BP path: get fired up about this, worry about this guy, snoop more, put a dossier together. Role play the courthouse scene where you confront her with the evidence, see how it plays out. IMO jealou…

OP definitely raises some red flags...devil's advocate counterpoint, if my wife thought I was cheating each time I snooped an old GF or a lay that got away, I'd be in deep deep trouble. Listen to your gut (and the snapchat is pretty suspect) but sometimes a FB snoop is just a FB snoop. Side note on the snapchat, but how old are you guys? I'm 34 and snapchat is shit my kids play with. (old man yells at clouds)

I have some first hand experience with this one - this is what I do. Make a game out of less sex for a week here and there. Keep fooling around/teasing, but don't orgasm and do not let her orgasm. Crib a few notes from tantra/karezza and try it for a week. Then pick a day and tell her she can come. Depends on your girl but mine loves to be dominated, she eats this up. On the week we abstain, libidos run wild, constant kino and foreplay all week. Become the gatekeeper of sex and role-play around …

This exact scenario just happened to a bf of mine. Worked his ass off, solid high paying job. Gets married. Big elaborate wedding. Buys wife a new truck, mostly paid for. Starts shopping for house. Married 18 months. Wife does a textbook branchswing, literally runs off with Chad (guy's name...fucking Chad). Over and out. Guy was the sweetest, kindest, most generous, hardest working person I know. It was textbook, AWALT in fast-forward. Makes me sad. He was the exact kind of guy this shit happens…

Don't really understand your question bro. It's all on the sidebar. Asking "what's the most important thing to read" is a bit like having a car that doesn't run and asking "what's the one tool I really need to fix it?" Who fucking knows? A pair of vice grips are pretty universally useful but they aren't going to change a spark plug. What are you not getting? Why are you not getting it? What is the way to fix that? Here's the thing I learned about ultimatums, dude: do you want to spend the rest of your life, or the rest of your relationship just waiting to leave? I tried that and at some point I finally thought to myself, "what the fuck am I doing?" Waiting to leave is the same mindset as leaving, except you're too much of a pussy to actually do it. If you're at a spot where you're saying "If X happens, I'm out," and you're pretty sure X is going to happen, and you're waiting around for X to happen, who's …
