Biological auntie-ness is out of my reach, but I love volunteering regularly with kiddos at an after school program. It is so fun to get to use some of my CF, single-lady time and $$$ to spoil them with all the attention and fun craft supplies they could want! Definitely give faux-auntie-ing a 10/10.

Sad to say that I've had to quit dating shorter men. I literally could not care less if a guy is roughly my height, I'm 5'7" and have dated a few guys in the same range. The issue? They are ALWAYS insecure about it even though I never said a thing and was clearly into them regardless. I had one boyfriend who would be annoyed when I worn Doc Martens because they made me an inch taller, and forgot about heels. It was just too exhausting to deal with, so I will definitely use OPs tip in the future.

I think another part of it has to do with justifying an addiction. I've read that anywhere from 5-10% of those who regularly consume porn are addicts, and that almost all men consume porn whether addicted or not. If porn is seen as empowering rather than dangerous then it is more difficult to pin it down as an addiction or potential future issue because we typically associate addiction with 'bad' behaviors. It's a cheap argument but it keeps working.
