Have you ever had bad service? Not everyone is "nice" to their customers. The interaction is still human to human which means both have agency and can choose to flirt back when invited by the other person. However, I see your point. Probably don't want to get wrapped up into "they like me" just because they're working and need to be nice. Also, they usually get tipped better if they are nice/flirty. I'm not suggesting this is the place or time to flirt, but the OP set it up that way so I was con…

I think this question misses a point I'd like to make: Hitting on someone is different from flirting. Figure out how to playfully flirt/tease and that will go better when interacting with people who are working. You'll probably both enjoy it and will help build confidence and you'll get to practice being playful with someone you aren't trying to necessarily bone.

By the time she leaves you, she's already lost attraction/emotional feelings for you. Having said that, she probably also has found another person so she believes in her heart that what she's going to is better than what she's leaving. I also think this applies to everyone, not just women.

I think this is more of a confidence issue than a physical one. Confidence is attractive so if you're feeling insecure about a physical part of your body, that may be coming through with how you show up. There is someone out there looking for exactly you. If someone specifically doesn't like your jawline, that person is probably not the person for you.

Letting you down softly tbh. You played it right: tell her you're interested, hmu if you're down. Leave it be. Do not text that person. Let her reach out when she's ready and keep dating!

You shouldn't be texting her immediately the next day.

Dude, sexism is also a social trend. His post gets at the biological needs of both sexes. Even assigning labels in order to discuss dynamics is outside of simple biology. Agree on your point about sex and women being more selective. Disagree on your last note. If both halves want emotional-less sex, then it's not bad. Likewise, if both people only want emotional attachment, obviously not bad. Also, there's gotta be half the world fucking each other without emotional attachment. Clearly you'd ret…

The original post is edgy, but he's not entirely wrong. I think he could have added more qualifiers to help his argument. I think his argument actually points more to how each sex RESPONDS to what is offered in a relationship. A woman seeks and positively responds more to emotional support and a man likewise to sex. It's a primal response more rooted in biology and is agnostic of societal trends being socialized today.

Agreed. You make the point about biology but you're getting responses from people and the brain. Our culture is programmed to believe much of the opposite of what you arguing for here.

I don't agree or disagree with everything in your post but commodifying sex is not an antiquated idea. It's still prevalent.

Your arguments are valid but could perhaps be clarified by using more language around what each sex RESPONDS to. For example, a woman responds positively to a man if there's the proper emotional attention. Men, responds positively to a woman who offers sex. It comes down to less about what each sex gets or bargains from the relationship but more about how each sex RESPONDS to what is being provided in the relationship.

This makes sense, but only from an objective perspective. You're going to get a lot of emotional downvotes from both sexes which is a funny paradox inside of the context of this post.

You need to step up. Set a definite date. If she wavers, do the take away. Don't let her do the driving my man.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
