My mom told me to be a step dadI think it’s genuine advice coming from her but she’s projecting her own feelings on what you “need.” She was happier after having you and she thinks you’ll be happier in a stable relationship with a kid. It’s not exactly good advice but I don’t think she was trying to be toxic on purpose like other posts here hint at. Ive gone out with a few single moms before but unfortunately, a lot of times, there is still a toxic relationship with the father. You want to avoid that at all possible. | /r/askTRP | 21/06/21 05:17 PM
Best movies for Netflix and chill?Pretty much any genre. I think the last three movies I’ve put on has been The Nice Guys, Nightcrawler, Big Daddy and Tremors. So kind of all over the place. | /r/askTRP | 01/06/21 03:05 PM
Pronouns in instagram bio . Red flag?Opinions and thoughts are based on experiences. I don’t restrict myself to one party or one idea but I do know what is LTR for me. That’s based off more than a decade of dating people placed everywhere on the political spectrum. | /r/askTRP | 04/05/21 08:40 PM
Do popular movies irritate you since you Red pilled? Most "chick flicks" are basically Porn for womenTotally agree. I've started watching older movies more recently and the Humphrey Bogart/Cary Grant movies are great. | /r/askTRP | 03/08/19 02:07 PM
Being able to drink a lot = value?Totally spot on. Hell, I used drinking as a crutch my last year of school as well and it almost ruined me. Whether I was trying to escape a problem or thought I needed it because of having some sort of social anxiety. Turns out, eating healthier and hitting the gym helps you a lot more than downing whiskey at a bar all night. | /r/askTRP | 17/01/17 08:37 AM
Repairing a bad reputation?Kinda been dealing with this issue as well lately. Did and said some really stupid things my last year in college because I started hating myself and drank way too much. I still have good relationships with the group but I'm definitely looked at differently now and feel like any potential LTR with the female friends in the group have gone flying out the window. Moved away. Got a job (finishing school online). Joined a gym. Next step is developing a new social circle, which is what I would advise… | /r/askTRP | 17/01/17 08:29 AM
What part time job would you recommend?I worked at a grocery store (meat department) while in school and enjoyed it. Benefits: -We gave our own little discounts on cuts of meat and stuff like that, so grocery shopping was a lot cheaper for me. During football season I would always load up on some stuff, was the favorite guy at tailgates. -Always great to learn a new skill. I really enjoyed learning about different cuts of steak and how to cut them up properly. Made me a better cook at home as well. -The grocery store was near campus … | /r/askTRP | 17/01/17 08:12 AM
Question for guys who used to be scrawnyI was kinda in the same boat as you, except a couple inches taller and about 5 pounds lighter. When I moved after school I joined a gym and got a trainer. Have put on about 15 pounds over the past few months. However, I only go to the gym 3 times a week and I haven't been pressing protein powders and eating more like I should. I still feel good, a lot better than where I previously was, and even though I would still consider myself skinny, I feel a lot more confident and better about myself. So,… | /r/askTRP | 17/01/17 08:03 AM
How many books did you read last year and why?I want to get into more informational and philosophical books like some that you have listed but, for right now, I've just been reading Dennis Lehane and Jonathan Tropper. | /r/askTRP | 17/01/17 07:56 AM
Ready for the Red Pill but Have a Couple QuestionsWhen I go out, just going to try and do more instead of just sit on a barstool and just drink. Like trying to throw darts, play pool, etc. etc. As in "refresh", definitely not going to try and forget my past because everyone can learn and grow from both positives and negatives that have happened in life but getting out of my state and having a new experience is something I'm really looking forward to. EDIT: As far as the first point, definitely going to start just sticking with beer and try and … | /r/askTRP | 19/07/16 02:24 AM
Ready for the Red Pill but Have a Couple QuestionsYeah, it's a bad habit I've formed. The college town I go to is a borderline city in itself so definitely other places to go. I think I hit the bars too often because I thought it would make me feel better whenever I hit a rough patch. Not the case. I've been staying out of them a bit more so far this summer. | /r/askTRP | 19/07/16 02:22 AM
Ready for the Red Pill but Have a Couple QuestionsI'll start shooting for that goal, thanks for the tip. | /r/askTRP | 19/07/16 02:20 AM
