As the book portrays, Tyler comes to Mystery and learns everything that he comes to know. But afterwards, he makes it all about himself - not respecting Mystery or Style, not respecting the boundaries of the house, treating women like achievements rather than fulfilling experiences and people. You may notice this happening more often if your lines or behaviors seem unnatural, over-rehearsed, or if your calibration is off. I'd take a look at those first. Most girls, even if they knew, wouldn't give a fuck if you opened well and successfully building rapport.
