I used to watch the show, they are useless always have been. I think your skepticism is may be blinded by your bias, but of course mine might be instead.

Provided the Screener is indeed incomplete... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screener_(promotional) I mentioned it. They claimed it was incomplete and tried to contact someone to get a full copy, this lead Cassie to say that you could buy it on Google Play (you can't in Aus).

They said the Screener was incomplete (true or not IDK) and couldn't buy the movie from Google Play (where it is not available), my comment was explaining how that could happen and that 1 it was likely a staffer and 2 that the movie is not available in Aus on movie platforms it is sold on. Provided they aren't wrong/lying about the screener (and provided I didn't miss a A Vimeo mention see other comments) then they aren't lying. A staffer likely was incompetent or lazy and then when they gave up…

I watched the clip I didn't here Vimeo mentioned I heard Google Play (where it is not available in Aus) mentioned. Although I was watching on my phone without headphones so I may have missed the mention of Vimeo but that is still likely just what I said lazy/incompetent staffer looked though the list and was greeted with one too may "Product not available in your country" and gave up part way though the list. Then told the higher ups that they couldn't get the movie.

Weekend Sunrise, Competent..... Hahahaha that's a good one. Regardless VPN's in this case would create a legal nightmare (from copyright to tax fraud (GST)) that a company would not want to get in to even if they knew how. Just because you can doesn't mean it's legal. (Sorry IP law is a hobby)

Provided the screener was indeed incomplete then I take them at their word that they couldn't buy the movie as while it is on a large number of sites to buy almost none of the work in Australia. The staffer looking may have gone through some of the list likely starting with the bigger names like Google Play and YouTube and been faced with "Product not available in your Country" and given up before getting to (I think) Vimeo that has it available. Also "Mangina", really... sigh
