Hey you mentioned that you've been looking for legitimate challenges to your beliefs. Have you checked out the stickied thread in BP? It might be interesting at least for you to read.

I'm sorry, you must've not read my other comments where I apologized for this. But I do not have any thyroid deficiencies.

I was not aware. Thank you. That does make a large difference.

So I'm replying to you and /u/DudeZoltan because your comments the most constructive, and really allow me to think differently about this. I do not think the two actions are equivalent. I apologize for the poor comparison, that was entirely my bad. My point was more about (and I recognize this wasn't expressed with any accuracy in the original comment) the lack of apparent function of the foreskin. However, after reading your article, I decided to dig a little deeper. I looked at more detailed a…

I advocate a reasonable, effective and affordable health strategy So the reason why I'm posting here is to talk about why that is. The most extreme ones, in both cases are total removal/destruction of the genitals. I probably should've been more clear; I was talking about the best-case scenario of both situations. Because that is what one logically strives for when using circumcision as a medical, preventative measure. The only reason why we shouldn't ban all involuntary forms of male genital mu…

So the issue is that you're advocating for a more focused approach, and I'm arguing for a broader one. Is that fair to say? Why do you call circumcision "genital mutilation?" If it is done correctly, it doesn't "mutilate" a person any more than clipping toenails does. Now, With female circumcision, a large problem is that the organs are very different. Female circumcision inherently removes more of the female genitals and causes greater physical damage. If we can attack HIV with a nuclear bomb, …

Well that was... surprising. I'm sorry if I came off as aggressive or patronizing, I really do want to encourage good discussion. I think I may have worded what I said poorly. Well, in that case we should just give up on that completely and try to the way less effective... thing. I'm saying that we should try all available strategies. I know that circumcisions somewhat reduce the risk of an infection, I'm not disputing that Condoms are better, if they are worn. But if plan A doesn't work, why no…

This is something I've seen a lot of feminists fight for too. So if everyone's in agreement, can we just do blanket abolishing/establishing Selective Service already?

There's an article on it here http://www.inquisitr.com/1398203/ugly-feminists-freak-out-over-feministsareugly-hashtag/ it says that other antifeminist hashtags (i.e. #idontneedfeminism) started trending and it escalated from there. It goes on to say that the origins are unclear. So maybe not that helpful, but at least it's something.

I am confused by the term "divorce rape." Can you please explain what that means?

Unfortunately, previous attempts to encourage use of condoms hasn't been successful for a variety of reasons. If you actually want to know the science behind why HIV transmits with less frequency in circumcised men, I can go into that. I'm all for the choice and everything but this is just as much science as vaccines are.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
