Christ, that was a gut-wrenching read. The last paragraph was a little uplifting though. To paraphrase, “powerful people don’t need to betray trust.” Does that not say it all??? No, I disagree. If mom and dad wanted to do these kids a favor, they should’ve worked things out and stayed together.
