| 17 | I have been practicing Stoicism for 3 years now and the quality of my life has increased dramatically because of these 3 exercises. One from each of the greats: Epictetus, Seneca, And Marcus Aurelius. Try them and tell me what you think in two weeks.Great post, I look forward to being uncomfortable. Ryan Holiday's book The Daily Stoic is a great read if anyone is looking to learn about practicing stoicism. | /r/TheRedPill | 07/08/17 12:16 PM |
| 6 | On a brink of suicideStop drinking for a bit man. That alcohol depressant mind state is being exacerbated by the fact your eyes have just opened to the way the world actually is. TRP is not a concept you just understand after a few months, it takes dedication, discipline and patients. | /r/askTRP | 06/08/17 12:25 PM |

| 12 | Marcus Aurelius said, "The happiness of your life depends upon the quality of your thoughts: therefore, guard accordingly, and take care that you entertain no notions unsuitable to virtue and reasonable nature."Ryan Holiday's book "The Daily Stoic" makes a lot of these same points. Especially congruent with Marcus Aurelius quotes. Stoicism has added value to myself because I did not understand how impactful emotional mood swings had been on my teenage years. That being said and like anything else, never take stoicism so far as to the point where you lose your personality. | /r/TheRedPill | 07/04/17 11:03 AM |

| 1 | Do men need women for non-sexual stuff? Such as emotional support and purpose? No, women are fundamentally incapable of loving a man the way a man wants to be loved by a woman. | /r/askTRP | 09/10/16 01:42 PM |
