I live somewhere with plenty of data coverage as well but there are also plenty of situations where it's not necessary or possible to use it. There are people I'm not friends with on FB, and I keep my messenger locked down to only friends. There are people who still use older phones or outright don't have/use facebook. There are people who I interact with in only a professional capacity, so see #1. I only really use messenger to talk to my mother and to send links of stuff to my wife. That's it.

you're assuming that each one of those users uses messenger exclusively, or much at all.

it goes deeper than that. Who you're attracted to is your sexuality. The gender you are (or want to be, or feel like you are) is your gender identity. The two are not necessarily related. You could feel like a straight woman trapped in a man's body. You could also feel like a lesbian trapped in a man's body. You could be a gay man trapped in a woman's body. You could also be a straight man trapped in a woman's body. You could be bisexual trapped either way. For instance, I know two people who ar…

Yeah my gaming pc, various project cars and other garbage that I've bought certainly have not been "for women".

I mean my friend Andrew and I have our birthdays a week apart so we just toss up a Facebook event and celebrate together, a bunch of people usually show up but it's not a huge deal. Hit the bars, get some beers and hang out.

Don't be sexist. There are plenty of women who do not do those things while driving, and plenty of men who do.

I'd much rather have a modest but nice home, and a few proper nice cars. Granted, cars are my passion. If I had my way, my garage would rival Jay Leno's.

I'm still figuring out where I land on the red-purple-blue spectrum but it is one of my hard and fast ideals that everybody has the same rights, the same opportunities, and the same outcome for the same input. Equal pay for equal work, equal opportunities for equal candidates, equal punishments for equal crimes. Remove gender from all equations.

The fact is that women can and do leverage stuff like this, and without evidence to the contrary, who do you think the police are gonna believe? The man with the house and job and car, or the poor little woman who got evicted and is depending on others for help? In most peoples' eyes, she is already in a position of weakness, a position which could be exploited. It wouldn't be that hard for her to fabricate a believable enough story to get you in trouble, and when it comes down to "he said, she …

You may get only one turn, but remember never to regret what you enjoyed when you did. If it was good for you then, fine. If it isn't good for you now, also fine. But don't hold grudges or beat yourself over it. Ultimately the past is the past and the only direction you should look is forward.

Exactly. I have been keeping myself busy and find less time for conversations. Everything over text is direct, and there's only a few times during the day where I will. I may respond to a few while at work or shortly after, but then I spend a good chunk of my evening at the gym. I may respond once or twice after before I go to sleep but not much. Make it a habit simply to not be using your phone as often anyways, there are more interesting things to do than the electronic distraction in your poc…

Seriously. I am very well versed in the English language. It's a badge of pride for me. I make no apologies for the way I speak or the fact that I use proper English even while texting. If somebody has an issue with that, adios.

I did this just the other day. Told a chick I'd be at hers at 9, around 8:45 she comes up with some shit excuse and bails. My response? "k", followed by radio silence. The next day she was blowing me up. She's done this twice now so I'm cutting contact, but I can't help and laugh at how much nonchalance evokes a reaction.

I already plan on stopping talking to her. Outright. I realize I'm being a little bitch and that needs to stop. I thought about contacting her and redacting my statements but fuck that. Silence speaks louder than words. Read up on LMR (last minute resistance). This is a fairly common thing for a girl to do when the two of you are already naked in bed (makes no fucking sense, right?). You can't bail every single time. Read the theory, there are ways to get past it. It's a shit-test, just like any…

Hi everyone. My name is Mike, and you may remember a post from about three weeks ago wherein I posted from a throwaway about how I basically cuckolded myself and my girlfriend left me. I can't find the post now but I'm sure somebody can find it. I've been hitting the gym consistiently and eating right for the past three weeks. I've lost 14lbs already. Every Friday night so far I've gone out. I've gotten much closer with my best friend (male). I've talked to my ex off and on. It's been a mix of d…

I think men aren't going to buy being lied to and told "everyone thinks your beautiful just the way you are" when that isn't the reality we live in the way women do. The thing is, women don't necessarily buy it either. Body image issues effect everybody, not just men or women.

Well considering that it's pretty much based on the honor system with very few checks and balances until something goes wrong, yeah

I wouldn't be there either. I got slapped around a lot as a kid, I have issues with violence. It's not something I'm ever going to tolerate from a partner, and it's not something I suggest you do either. I can't echo this hard enough. I believe my girlfriend has hit me precisely once in malice. Key word, once. There has also only ever been one incident of her raising her voice at me during an argument. Again, one. Part of that is because of my upbringing, I think. My father was very physical in …

It also fails to take in to account that men may work all kinds of jobs that most women won't. I get paid the same to do office work as my female counterparts, but if I was a full time auto tech like I'm trying to be then my pay rate would be higher.

Plus they run a check on your fb to make sure it's active and not too new, so you can't just make a new account. Source: I tried.

I'm an automotive technician and I'll be honest, every time I step under a vehicle when it's on a lift, I get really nervous. Yes, I know the lift has done it thousands of times before, yes I know there's safety latches, etc.. but it's still a little unnerving having 3,000lb+ sitting 7ft in the air, above my head.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
