Just a different flavor of hate. Create an out group, blame the world's problems on them, use that to justify hatred of out group. Insert, immigrants, black ppl, men

The fact they put all the world's problems onto a group they determined to be the "other" and they don't see how that exact same thing racist do.

One side hates them, and tells them to shut up. The other offers a solution and says they're strong. I don't like the right but it's not surprising boys look at those two options and choose it.

I've learned in this sub that it's not worth it when a reply is all questions/being intentionally obtuse. I'm not gonna walk you through a bunch of stuff you already understand. You're just probing for something to criticize without giving anything in return. It's obvious and incredibly common here.

That meme has nothing to do with male feminist though. Just weak men. You're making things up at this point. Even if you're right the point of that joke is they're being used Now a woman is explaining masculinity to me. Lol Plenty being fine with it doesn't negate that most aren't. And saying things like that pushes men away. Don't be surprised when men don't support you if you're gonna say things like that. Like I'm literally telling you how men get on your side and your arguing against it. You…

The joke is that male feminist Don't get women though... Also did you really just call the male feminist "soft pliable and weak"? You understand how problematic that is and why a guy doesn't want to be like that? Hence why even guys who want to support women won't call themselves a feminist. And then they will be told they "hate women" because they are not a feminist. Which ultimately pushes them away from wanting to support women. You insult men for supporting you then will probably question wh…

Idk lots of reasons. Sex can be a make it or break it in the beginning. It's a lot of pressure. I spend a lot more time thinking about that, or how she is feeling than myself. Which I'm sure is in part because of my own sexual hangups and insecurities. But they are there for a lot of guys. If I sit there solely focusing on my own pleasure I might cum quickly. Guys also aren't being penetrated (generally) so it's less invasive which I think is less mouth opening/gasping. Finally, in today's world…

You're still making these men v women. Plenty of women were against feminist every step of the way. Billions of years of evolution, thousands of years of society. Cause that's the way it was... In 100 years ppl will be looking at everyone alive today and be baffled by things we think are normal. You are attributing how ppl feel about these subjects today with all the cultural shifts and hindsight we have and trying to put in on ppl in history. Idk, why do women support circumcision and men going…

How'd you get it if men didn't let you have it and had all the power? Oh wait all of history isnt men v women and many men fought for it too including many in power.

Putting just before another word doesn't make it better. Something being a question doesn't make it ok to say. You completely ignored his point and changed the subject to HIS sexuality. There's no version of that where it's ok or 'just' a question. Please don't do it in real life as well.

Just questions? I think we should dive deeper into this. Do you know questions that can be rude and irrelevant? Are you attracted to women men or both? Do you want kids? I'm just asking questions.

How is this relevant at all? He makes a point and your response is basically "I think you're gay" Like actually a gross thing to say.

If that's what you have to tell yourself when criticized. When you're looking for sexism, you can blame anything negative that happens to you on it. You're the one that brought up hate. Jumping to it so quickly yet seeing it as ridiculous when I said it back.

Yea I'm not doing this lol. Go play 20 questions somewhere else. Your comment was pretentious and I called it out. It's not worth talking if I have to spell out literally everything. Lol half of that comment is assuming men's experiences... You can't both talk for us and claim Mansplaining when called out. This is exactly the difference. You can say all that and you can claim sexism when there's any criticism. Men say half of that and are labeled an incel. You can list all that exactly because we take women's problems seriously.

Nobody said that though. Lol you're just blatantly making that up... The guy you're replying to is saying things like "show interest in any way" and "dating should be mutual and gradual" and once again you exaggerate to unrealistic standards of familiarity". Can you straw man harder? Being a prostitute is not some run of the mill job. Someones job isn't that important to me. Doesn't mean I want to date a dictator and I shouldn't have to explain that. You asked a question and ppl answered. You can deny the answer all you want but it doesn't make it not true. Real life is messy as is dating and your acting like there are hard concrete rules everyone lives by.

I guess it all comes down to perspective then. Is it problematic vs will it be seen as problematic. Which is important. It's why virtue signaling is so common now. With the rise of social media and so many ppl seeing your life without actually knowing you. I feel like I'm changing the subject... So ill stop lol

Right? Its like ppl making a huge post that they're quitting social media. It's like just quit then? Idc I have a feeling when ppl do this they fantasize about the opposite gender somehow coming to a sudden realization that they didn't know what they had until it was gone and will come back begging for forgiveness. And how ppl talk here is VERY different from the real world. Last week when I went out to the bars the girls seemed no different than any other time in my life. Most ppl don't lean ha…

It makes sense the problem would be even worse when both ppl are experiencing it. As a straight guy I noticed my gender roles in a relationship is defined by the women. Are they more traditional or more progressive etc. But with two guys I see a lot more grey areas. In a type of relationship that's already less defined in society.

I feel like that's kinda and us vs them or men vs women mentality. A little victim blamie too. Not trying to be a dick by name calling just pointing it out. Fact of the matter is advocating for men is still pretty taboo (I don't talk like this in public). A lot of ppl view it as an attack on women. Most ppl are ignorant that men even need support. To add to this. There are far more women in college in the US than men. In fact the disparity is so large, that when title 9 was implemented (in the 70s) there were more women in college by percentage then, than there are men by percentage now. To clarify. The discrepancy between men and women is larger now then when we implemented title 9 (and in the opposite direction). Meanwhile we have 65x more gender specific scholarships for women then men.

Idk if all guys have the same experience but nothing about the start of dating is fun for me. It's mostly fulfilling gender roles in a world where ppl act like gender roles are bad, but you still have to do them. Initial interest shown, but don't be a creep, be an entertaining texter, find and plan something SHE enjoys, but she won't tell you, organize the logistics of the date, clean the apartment just in case it goes really well, pay for the date, continue to show interest, but not too much. Few things. This is the only sub I know of that both takes mens issues seriously and isn't a sexist hell hole. That alone is going to attract people from all over the political spectrum. Men's advocacy is still in a weird spot, having left wing in the name is a necessary title to be more acceptable to a broader audience/not be written off as sexist. I don't think you should have to be left wing to be here, but you also shouldn't be pushing for conservative gender roles either. (Not that you were…

Women are looked at as individuals when doing something good, and as a group when something bad happens to them. A woman getting punched in the face in NYC is an attack on women. A woman becomes a doctor in spite of the evil patriarchy is a personal triumph. Men are almost always viewed as a group. When we do something good, it isn't earned, it's viewed as given to us or expected. But when we do something bad it's indicative of other men as a whole (and when a woman does something bad they are o…

Women have a much larger in group bias then men do. This is largely thought to be because their social hierarchies are much more fluid and dynamic, and in hunter gather societies the in group bias is an evolutionary attempt to counter-act the potential conflicts in a less concrete social hierarchy. Combined with that fact that its only natural to project oneself onto others in order to understand them, my theory is women look at their own in group bias and attribute that to men. They see a men i…

But says what? That we care more about representation than ability? They cost so much to train and hold lives in their hands as well as the future of space exploration. Demographics should be irrelevant. The best should be sent. We also don't go to space just to say we can do it. Space is the future and a lot of technology is based off it. Think about how important satellites are.

It's not just the people either. Large social movements can be looked at in a lot of different ways. The organization, the "mission statement" the people that make it up, what those people do or say, the leadership etc. This is what I always think about when feminist first response to criticism is to say feminism is about gender equality. That might be the definition, but actions speak louder than words. And gender equality means different things to different people.

Similar thing happened when I was a pledge at a fraternity. I was watching the door because guys who aren't in the house aren't allowed into parties (its a big school so hundreds of guys would show up if we did, we pay and clean and have all the lability). Exactly, using "men do it to other men" is a very telling argument to me. It shows the us verse them mentality so many people have but claim they don't because "feminism is about equality". The offenders demographics should not affect our sympathy of the victim. Not to mention its practically victim blaming. That men somehow deserve it.

You have a source for women are designed to die after they raise kids? It doesn't make sense, at that age they are less attractive, thus not competition anymore, where this is less likely for men because we can keep having kids older.

Am I the only one who didn't think the relationship that Korra has with her (girl) friend at the end of the show in "legend of Korra" seemed completely plutonic? They hold hands for a second and everyone acts like it's canon that they are lesbian together. Maybe I missed some details, so if that's the case definitely let me know. But I never noticed any details that made it seem that way. Especially considering how obvious sexual attraction was earlier in the show.

I have said almost exactly this many times. That or actually practice what they preach and we all could work together, but that seems a little naive to hope for. One of the biggest problems is their monopoly, it actively stops things that are attempting to help men.

The gender divide in industries in North Europe (one of the places where they are doing the most to decrease socialized gender roles) has actually increased. And if you take away the nurture aspect, what you have left is what's natural. This would argue that it stems from personal choice (which have trends along genders), not social pressure. Your premise is based on the idea that men and women are the same, which is untrue

If you ask me most of history sucked for everyone. At least 90% of ppl throughout all history were incredibly poor. I don't think being a peasant in feudal europe was better if you were a man. The thing is most ppl are interested in/hear about the king's and queens. Men go to jail for 66% longer for the same crime, are 75% of homelessness, 75% of suicide, 99% of combat deaths, 98% of workplace deaths etc. I don't think women have it easy either, and do need a group fighting for them, but so do m…

I have been personally impacted by some of these issues. But I also don't think that's relevant. You don't have to be hungry to want to help those that are. What about the women that face those issues? I care for them too, I want humans who need help to be helped. The difference is feminism has a monopoly on affecting gendered problems. They claim they are for gender equality but are really just for women advancement. Which I would be ok with if they allowed men's rights groups to fight for men.…

While I don't agree with op (I would if we were still cavemen, but we're not), in terms of your two arguments women do have more value if the goal was to make kids. 1 guy can impregnate 50 women, but 50 guys and one women could only make 1 kid every 9 months. One of the reasons why men would be the hunters/fighters (it's not just that we are stronger) if a majority of the women died in a war, the growth and thus the next generation would be severely stunted.

Well yes reddit has a lot of guys and has much more men's rights stuff then other platforms but it's still the internet, which is very left leaning and feminist. The company itself as well. Plenty of racist/sexist subs have been deleted but not the ones against men. Pink pill feminism and female dating strategy to name a couple. But ultimately it depends on the subs ur in. Someone else mentioned how the default subs are super left etc

Yep. And the thing is, your not taking away from the legitimate victims. The people regretting sex then saying it was rape are though. Because of them we HAVE to be critical in ways that we may not be with other crimes. Aziz Ansari is a great example. Which is partly why education about consent is being taught and is a good thing. I would honestly like/respect/be more ok with (idk what the right word would be) feminism a lot more if they all just admitted it was for women advancement. Yea, we can't stoop to their level. Then it just becomes a cycle of endless hate. Not to mention can make more people flock to feminism if they see crap like that all the time. If MRAs want any kind of legitimacy on the public's eyes we need to be smart and deliberate in what we do. We should be fighting for men not putting down women. There is also a different level of burden of proof. Criminally the jury should be sure the crime was committed. For the college 'trials' you just have to be 51% sure one way or the other.
