I am also black and I recognize the struggles our people have and are currently going through,but my personal upbringing has allowed me to have positive interactions with people of all races. I don’t invalidate the people in my community who have faced prejudice or racial injustice just because I personally haven’t experienced it. I hope for one day all of my people to experience what I have.
