This claim of female maturity is silly because it’s only really verifiable at the childhood level and maybe early 20s. Young (late teens early 20s) women just think they’re more mature because they push each other for serious relationships and a lot of younger guys these women pursue aren’t interested. So they assume it’s maturity.

Just to be clear, if under 25 men and women are so easily coerced, should they also not vote since they’re essentially vessels of manipulation and they aren’t making informed voting decisions?

I think that if we have a law and we are pushing to change said law, then it is immoral. However, no one is trying to redefine 18 as the age of being an adult. I say this because homosexual marriages were outlawed until recently. But it wasn’t moral to ban them from marriage. And there was movement to give the homosexual community the right to marry.

He means mentally. I’m sorry but you’d need to be under 23-24 to not realize how mentally under-developed that demographic is. I even remember the vast difference in maturity as a senior in college taking a freshman class because it hasn’t fit my schedule previously and was a graduation requirement. My god I felt like I was 40 surrounded by teenagers.

I mean… met when she was 18? Ok… just a bit weird since she may be in HS still.. met 6 years ago and fell in love? Not cool man!

True.. the single friend out at the clubs at 45 is kind of an odd duck. Most people get married and have kids by then. But… no judgement. Probably more and more such men.

Not really embarrassing. My place is clean and organized. I just wipe the counters with water after cooking, start the dishwasher, and maybe do some laundry. Usually done in under 20. But admittedly I don’t have pets with fur. I’ve only had hypoallergenic pets

That’s on you. That’s excessive. Cleaning after dinner should be like 15 minutes. You’re just probably super clean and want to wipe everything down thoroughly.

Yea. I mean, if you put a gun to my head and say “you can’t be single,” I’d choose the same. But I won’t lower my standards.Broke Wendy’s girl is <<<<< being single. But if we consider things equally. “Respectable successful man working in IT or Fiannce” vs broke Wendy’s guys… we know who gets the most attention. That said, I’ve known many highly educated and successful women that dated the broke guy or otherwise uneducated blue collar guy. And they loved their men a lot. So obviously you aren’t…

He’s too focused on net worth and annual earnings which is why he’s missing the mark, but you and I both know success is attractive. For example, as a man, I won’t date a waitress or bartender. I need a woman with a lucrative career. I prefer a woman who drives a respectable car, lives in a nice neighborhood, etc.

I come from a lower middle class background and got myself into the upper middle class of earners. I also don’t quite fit the definition. In the last 10+ years of being sexually active, only 4 were spent in relationships. 6 were spent casually sleeping around or with one or more FWBs. I’ve had over 30 partners. I’m far from some of the wilder men but I’d still say that’s a lot more than what OP is referring to.

I never advise people to date projects. Yes any man or woman can become successful. The 30 year old waitress can become a millionaire. I wouldn’t kick myself for leaving her. The overweight girl can become super fit. I won’t kick myself for leaving her when she’s overweight.

Mental gymnastics from me? Educated men are more depressed too. I don’t know what mental gymnastics you’re referring to. That said, I can’t call educated women out for being picky. I’m also more educated than average and am very picky.

To be fair it does happen. Many women live free and happy partying until their 30s then some biological thing takes over and they want kids. I’ve read that from a lot of women. But men telling women they’ll die alone is silly. Is it going to be insanely hard to find a good man in your late 30s? Yah… your dating pool is dwindled and the single guys at that age carry a ton more baggage and life is generally different. But there are still great guys. Maybe just divorced from an abusive woman or som…

Social media and education. Educated people are more depressed. It’s universal for men and women.

I personally do think there is a difference between men and women. Women do seem much less patient and have more expectations than men. I have a great female friend and she always tells me I’m way more patient than she is. I’ll deal with shitty treatment and whatnot for longer while she puts up with it for a month and then leaves. I respect her for it though..

Right back at you. Love women with high standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/22 05:35 PM

Exactly. I have high standards for women. I have expectations of ambition or establishes success, beauty, mutual respect, effort, etc. she has to work on major flaws and I’m patient with that but I won’t tolerate a woman that doesn’t meet my standards or attempt to meet them. And I have dated incredible women. A top consultant, a doctor, a lawyer , an engineer, an army officer. Granted I was only “official” with two of these women but I never went on more than a few dates with unambitious women.…

Conflict #1: likely refers to women who date men that don’t show them genuine love and affection. This doesn’t only affect women. I’ve dated women who I knew weren’t good for me but I just kept pursuing because I fell in love with the woman that didn’t want me. I just kept wanting to see her love me but she never did so I left finally. Conflict #2: men want a woman who has high sex drive and maybe slept with her ex 10 times per week at least. Not one who slept with a new stranger every week. Tha…

Ok I see the point you’re making. So the reality is, men and women are different. As an obvious example, I wouldn’t expect most women I date to be avid fans of Call of Duty or various shooting games. In my friend circle the women generally are into planning events, going to events around the city, discussing gossip, and briefly discussing major career changes. The men plan events and go to events as well but at a lower rate. Some time is replaced with playing computer games with each other like …

Because I had a biased sample of only women. So I posed the question, and asked women to provide their perspective. I was receptive to the respectful women. You’re one of maybe two women getting so offended in a 100+ comment debate. I can’t say anything to you beyond “I don’t disrespect women. I love and respect women.” If you don’t want to acknowledge or believe that then I’m sorry… there’s little more I can say.

I can’t speak to other guys. The reason you have this opinion is that you assume I’ll have the majority opinion of men on this subreddit. I wouldn’t react the way you think I would. If a woman worded her post the way I did I wouldn’t be offended and worked up.

I seem to keep making a repeated statement to you because you aren’t reading what I’m saying. I never once said all women are like this. I shared my experience and asked if women have the same experience. Naturally it is difficult to clarify everything in an initial post but you’re completely misunderstanding because you want me to be a misogynistic incel so you can have some grand argument.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/22 02:31 PM

You seem wildly offended and I don’t understand why. I never said all women are like this. Just most women I’ve dated. I don’t ever suggest that my topics are superior. Just that they are topics I’m interested in. At the end of the day I don’t get a raise or promotion for knowing how effective a thunder run was in northern Ukraine or the geopolitical climate of Yemen. These are just nerdy topics I’m interested in. Where I wasn’t clear, and I admit this was my fault, is that I don’t expect these …

You keep rambling with sarcastic frustration. I never said all women are like this. I said most. I expressed frustration in my dating experience. I emphasized that the men I have as friends are interested in similar topics but most women I commit to are not. I then asked if women on this subreddit have faced similar experiences. Many women confirmed this and said they have similar experiences or the men they talk to just want to discuss crypto and fishing and other less interesting topics.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/22 02:23 PM
1

I’m not trying to stir up frustration lol. Not sure how this relates to what I even said. I didn’t even ask “are all women like this?” I clearly wrote “most women I’ve dated are X.” And then I acknowledged “this is a singular perspectives. Women, do you have face similar experiences?” And many women expressed their experiences as well. Things like “a lot of guys just want to talk about fishing or crypto or cars.”
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/22 02:20 PM

Men and women are different. And largely have different interests. From the type of video games played, to the type of jobs pursued, etc. Further, it shouldn’t be insulting. I’m only sharing my experience and asking women if they experience the same thing. I’m not saying “y’all women are all shallow. Be more like men.” It’s not that I consider women shallow, but that I lack experience with dating men. Hence my clearly written question at the end of my post.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/22 01:29 PM

Everything you described is men as well. The difference is that the average woman still gets a ton of attention whereas the average man does not on OLD. So this notion developed that women are flakes and men are fiercely loyal from date 1. I myself have done everything the women you described have done. I’ve been a perfect date, been told “I had a great time I can’t wait to see you again,” reciprocated the statement, then ghosted. It’s just that at the time I was dating a lot of different women …

So the main point I’m making is that I would always demonstrate interest in your topics. If you come in and say, “I just found out a lawsuit has sprung up challenging the ban of abortion in Missouri. According to [insert legal case here] this has a high chance of success.” I would absolutely ask about it and show interest. But I expect the same open mind in return. I want you to listen when I talk about some new tech or global political event and whatnot. That’s where my issue is. The conversati…

Not clear why you’re so upset. I have not been frequenting this sub so I don’t know if men ask the same question. I only recently discovered this community. Thanks for sharing your perspective. I also meant this to be me sharing my perspective and asking if women have a similar experience. I don’t know if that was unclear.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/22 01:26 AM

That’s fine I don’t expect every one of these topics to be discussed as nauseam. Just some subset of them.

Just to get your logic straight. You said a woman can easily get any man. You said you’re in a higher league than many men you’ve dated like the guy you cheated on in Vegas. Yet you justify dating lower league guys because you need to get the emotional support. Then, even though you can get any man, you don’t break up with them and just cheat. I don’t follow. If you were actually worthy of the high league title you claim, wouldn’t you be replacing your mediocre partner for a tall, successful, ha…

Haha that’s true. I know sometimes Reddit isn’t the best indicator of population as a whole haha! And I’m so easy going. I never argue with people except my mother who gets angry and calls me a liberal when I don’t acknowledge that the election was stolen and Biden is a deep state puppet. But I stopped discussing politics with her lol.

Yah that’s a challenge. I myself seek balance. I’m not an introvert but I’m also not obsessed with the social aspect. Tell me about the latest book you read. Give me your review. But then let’s go out for cocktails with friends on Friday. Somehow I end up with extroverted women who don’t have much interest in those topics. I’d argue that if you’re weird then so are those extreme extroverts partying three times a week and spending every waking moment with friends.

This is what I was wondering. I was mainly curious if men are the same in this regard and it seems you has the same experience. Thanks for sharing. I think that’s my issue. Lately I’ve been meeting a lot of women through OLD. Though I even had this issue pre OLD but I didn’t meet women through social circles of intellectually curious people. Rather from picking women up at bars and clubs. I should pursue more intellectual clubs and groups. Any recommendations? I’ve done acting clubs like improv …

So I need to clarify that I don’t mean early dating. I never discuss these things in early dates. I don’t even bother trying to explain my work either aside from a quick summaryx I mean long term partners.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/22 07:45 PM
1

Ok yah so to clarify. I realize I didn’t clarify and it seems I’m trying to get into the geopolitical conditions of Yemen five minutes into the first date haha. What I mean is women I’m comfortable with and dating for some time. Like no longer just planning dates and doing everything officially but comfortable enough to just hangout at each others places.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/22 07:44 PM
2

So I don’t usually discuss things like this on dates. I’m mostly talking about being with a long term partner. “Oh wow did you hear Russia invaded Ukraine?” “Oh damn no but that sucks lol.” Not much interest in knowing more. It’s not something I’m showing off since I just heard about it. I can explain some geopolitics given my background but I’m in no position to brag..

I think the issue is you and I are in the party circles and most people don’t seem to care about much. The men I guess just talk sports, fishing, and crypto. The women just talk about dating, gossip, and local events. Every night at the club is the same shit. “Yo Waddup dawg. How you been?!” “Hey good man what’s up?” “No much dude let’s get lit. We’re doing tequila shots on me.” “For sure man let’s go!” And then the same general empty conversations with some sports and crypto talk and occasional…

I get that though. I wouldn’t mind a woman sharing details and perspective about Iranian protests for women’s rights. I would ask and participate completely. But I feel like in many cases this is not reciprocated.

So I know what you’re saying and no I don’t talk at her. Usually she’ll say something like “idk what do YOU think about it?” She’ll usually answer with some one sentence perspective. E.g., if I share recent developments at OpenAI about vehicles stopping and going at traffic lights. “Would you trust that beta babe?” “Haha idk would you?” “Idk I feel like I’d be super nervous because I might get complacent and just let the car drive itself. Like I’d be anxious at first and then I’d probably stop p…

Thank you! I would be ecstatic to have a woman teach me something. I’ve had that one time with a woman I was dating where she frequently taught me things and I taught her. I was young and broke up with her because I had different priorities. The only other time I was seeing a woman like this she was the most insufferably rude and intolerable human I’ve met in my life. It was like dating the Sheldon Cooper to Sheldon Cooper.

I suppose you’re right. I guess I’ve gotten so used to lack of interest from women that I assumed women just don’t care for these things. I got used to having to keep topics to myself because these women seem so disinterested. But I think you’re right. I have a friend group that prioritizes partying and socializing over interest in deeper topics. I don’t mind the party and social life but I want more balance. I’m 29 and most women I see are close to my age with the youngest by age difference being 24 (I was 28). She was very intelligent but also mostly into social things. But for her it was mostly work ambition (she was very hardworking) and going out to party or brunch or whatever other social activities (I.e. very much the work hard play hard type).

Ok thank you. I have had this issue. Only one partner was like this. She shocked me when she shared a complex perspective on Erdogan and his policies in turkey. I had minimal knowledge and my eyes lit up like a child in a candy shop. Then we spoke for hours. I suppose it seems rare to me but could be my fault.

So I wasn’t clear. What you listed also falls into “things” as I mentioned. I don’t mean I expect a woman to be starstruck when I start rambling about Dogecoin and how rich it’ll make me. A woman who is passionate about art will absolutely have my attention. If you are excited to see a temporary exhibit for Rembrandt and you want to share I’ll ask questions and be interested. But in my experience most women don’t usually seem to be passionate about art or history or politics etc.

I see your perspective. And I’ve learned to value negative actions that people have learned from. E.g., the perfect woman who never made a mistake and never slept with a man, never got drunk, etc. seems great on paper but obviously never learned from any mistakesz
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/22 05:46 PM

That’s a valid point. I do think positively of the lessons I’ve learned through the years. Just sucks to think of how many fantastic women I’ve turned away. But you’re right, at least I’m more aware now of what I want and can seek it more confidently. I doubt I would have cheated (in my entire dating life I’ve never cheated), but I may have fallen into an unhappy place which would have been even harder on her.

My biggest regret was being a young man and leaving the calm home-loving woman so I can go out and party with the party babes. I keep refining my standards, becoming stricter and stricter with time. Now, if I’m seeing a new woman and she spends a few days over or has visited several times and never offers to help clean up after something we both dirtied (e.g. after dinner), I’m cutting it off. I’ve tried communicating with women on this but so many women are just used to eating out and leaving a mess. And yes I know men too. But I don’t date men.

This is for a woman you build a connection with. Over time you can piece things together. E.g. I remembered stories an ex told me when we were 21. She’d have a few drinks and let slip that she hooked up with a guy at some lake house. Later she’d let slip that she hooked up with some guy at a bar. I’d know how many boyfriends she has. I knew she hooked up with someone while we were friends. At the end I knew it was 9-10. I wasn’t bothered by it but I knew roughly the number. You can sort of piece…
