The reason men don't get therapy or talk to people isn't because they want to be "manly", it's because most people don't give a shit about them (and therapists have a bias favoring women).I’ve heard that before, and it’s always great to see it pop up again as a reminder. Thanks internet stranger. 🙏 Can confirm though, I was surrounded by assholes at the time. | /r/MensRights | 03/03/23 12:52 PM
The reason men don't get therapy or talk to people isn't because they want to be "manly", it's because most people don't give a shit about them (and therapists have a bias favoring women). It took a while because I spiraled hard after the split, but absolutely. I stopped settling, and put myself first again. | /r/MensRights | 02/03/23 12:15 PM
The reason men don't get therapy or talk to people isn't because they want to be "manly", it's because most people don't give a shit about them (and therapists have a bias favoring women).I genuinely believed I wasn’t doing enough. She had a part time job, and I was full time but somehow I “wasn’t contributing my fair share”, etc. I was so gaslit I started turning against my own family. Thankfully my mother saw through it all and when the ex and I split, she welcomed me home until I got back on my feet. I was suicidal and everything, and even after many therapists acted all “it’s just a break up, move on”. Even had a few “friends” act that way. | /r/MensRights | 02/03/23 12:14 PM
The reason men don't get therapy or talk to people isn't because they want to be "manly", it's because most people don't give a shit about them (and therapists have a bias favoring women).I have first hand experience with this. Ex had schizoaffective disorder, started going downhill so we went to therapy, and it was all blamed on me for the most part. I would bring up a counter point and it was pretty much “what are YOU doing to help the situation?” Nevermind the fact that 80% of the issues were related to her not taking her meds like she should have. | /r/MensRights | 01/03/23 11:38 PM
On the feminist subreddit in regards to paternity testing at birthOr a “practicing lesbian”. I thought you either are, or aren’t a lesbian. What is there to practice? If you’re not sure, just say that. | /r/MensRights | 25/12/22 08:38 AM
It really would be like that🤷♀️When I worked at a major cable company, we had 70ish techs at our local office, and there was one female residential tech, and one female business tech. That’s it. Rest of the techs were all guys. | /r/AntiFeminists | 18/07/22 07:50 PM
Name single right men have that women don't?I wasn’t intending to insult women at all. I’m just stating a common observation based on my personal experience in my circle of friends and family. My mother would spring into action while my aunt (also a mother) would freeze. | /r/MensRights | 06/07/22 01:07 PM
Name single right men have that women don't?A lot of the women I know would be too busy screaming, crying and flinging their hands around to actually start getting you to safety or making sure you don’t die. A few of them would actually jump into action, but the majority would just shut down. | /r/MensRights | 06/07/22 02:19 AM
Dr Fraud (Phil) has done much damage to men and mens rights. I am glad he is finally getting exposed.I just watched a video on YouTube where he went into a UK prison and spent 6 months starting a prison bakery business to help the inmates earn some cash, and teach them skills. You’re 100% right that he’s only an asshole because he’s asked to be one by the producers. | /r/MensRights | 30/12/21 12:06 AM
