When studies are done for the actual data, are they not comparing the salaries/hourly wages of employees/people who work for or at xx company? Because it seems like a pretty brainless to compare salaries for two separate careers like they should be the same and call it data. The studies I had always heard/were shown in school were direct comparisons of men and women in similar positions at similar jobs. E.g. stating that two doctors (M/F) in a hospital in the same specialty with the same amount …
