Simple math? Downvote if you want, but its true. Living expenses for 2 people together < 2 people alone. Its not even close. Add the power of double income to leverage both debt and savings and you can accomplish more in a significantly quicker time. But whatever you want to believe, I guess. If you assume all this alpha male shit can't last when your relationship has an official government recognized title, then it must be a pretty weak philosophy for life, don't you think?

Partnership and common goals is probably the primary reason for anyone that didn't get married due to societal pressure. You can accomplish more with a partner than you can alone. The counterargument to that is that you could get that from a LTR, but that's not really the case. LTRs will cycle thru, on average, faster than marriages. The good news about cooking is that its a mans responsibilty to learn how to grill, and since there's so much you can do with a grill in the way of steaks, chicken, burgers and fish, you can figure out most of the other things if you're solid on the basics with a grill.

No, its not normal. And yes, I followed up with 2 doctors. The 2nd one told.me "Post Vasectomy Pain Syndrome." Affects between 1 and 3% of men. They don't know what causes it and they don't know how to fix it. They could reverse the vasectomy and that sometimes works. They could remove the epididymis and that sometimes work. I got mine done 4/13 of this year. I'm still in pain when I do manual labor and sometimes after sex. 3 and a half months of daily pain. However, I am sterile, so I would still do it again.
