This is incredibly insightful. I honestly don't know what I want from a person when I meet them, or if I even meet them at all. It's almost like I'm indifferent to the outcome. Like, we could just be friends or we could build a relationship. But perhaps I really am looking for a relationship and telling myself those things so I don't hurt my own feelings by not meeting my own expectations. Hmm.. something for me to remain mindful about.
