good appearance is a prerequisite to any kind of dating success in the modern era, but many people underestimate how much they can impact their own appearance

yeah i could be wrong, but personally i had the most success with a long hairstyle so i have some anecdotal evidence

yes, most girls prefer longer hair on men.

women hold the keys on dating apps, i hooked up with some landwhale once and asked her to show her tinder. she had just 8 matches and the usual +99 likes. the right to left swipe ratio is just insane (women seem to swipe only ~5% of the profiles right) and even unattractive women seem to be heavily contested. that being said, you can still get results on tinder if you're willing to experiment a shit ton until you manage to put together a profile that works.

give it another go, it's worth the effort if she seemed interested

meditation helped me a lot with this, it forced me to confront my irrational thought patterns and now they have less control over me. you have to get really consistent with it if you want any tangible benefits though

misanthropy is a broad term, other factors are more relevant

no point emulating the bad boy persona if you can't pull it off. play the hand you're dealt.

She went home for 4month and I know I'm not going to see her till then. way too long timeframe, just move on. if she comes around 4 months later then reconsider but don't wait for it. live life.

you can't turn off your emotions. however, you can choose how you react to them. become the observer of your thoughts. don't try to suppress emotions; just detach from them. the goal is not to remove pain, the goal is to tolerate it.

the key is to never hesitate, you don't want to appear self-absorbed as that makes people uncomfortable. you just have to exercise your empathy and observe how she's reacting. comes with experience pretty much. self-awareness is also important. ask yourself: are you more prone to being timid or reckless?

seems like a deep rooted mental health issue since you clearly have a good track record to back you up but feel like shit despite that. i really doubt anyone on reddit could change your mind tbh

objective value ≠ subjective value. we live in a consumerist society, hence many people crave material things and expensive vacations even though that's not what would really make them happy and fulfilled. you can't change people so i'd recommend staying away from those types if it bothers you.

at the beginning (march 2020, 17 years old, zero experience with women), i only focused on my appearance. it took me around 1.5 years of working out and experimenting with my style etc. to get to a point where i was generally considered attractive. i had my first experiences with the opposite sex at 19 years old. then i got into my first relationship, but it went to shit really quick since my mental health and self-image were still half-baked and i was overall a rather needy person. after wallow…

i mean just say hi if you feel like it, it doesn't have to lead into anything. but if you see yourself as a loser, dating is gonna be an uphill battle

i've found success just by being overly ambiguous and contradictory with my words, it's all situational though, can't force it

i think you could just snap her out of the blue assuming she hasn't completely forgotten you. but pretty much any method is valid, the most important thing is to actually take action and stop procrastinating about the details

don't make any date or time related suggestions. leave the meta-work of scheduling into her hands. it's a good way to test if she's actually interested or not. just tell her to let you know when she's free (assuming you're still interested and don't want to ghost her yet.)

My average rating on my better Photofeeler pictures hovers around 6, so I'd say objectively I'm 6/10. photofeeler is really rough when it comes to rating looks, i've gotten varying results between 5.4 and 9.2 attractiveness using different pics. i don't think the rating system says much about someone's objective attractiveness, but it's neat for choosing pics for dating apps.

if you have actually maximized your looks potential (muscular physique, low bf%, good haircut etc.) then focus on other areas where you aren't 10/10 yet. be it finances, social skills, education, you name it. there's always room for improvement.

assuming you're in a serious relationship, just listen with full attention. no shortcuts in empathy.

wouldn't it be kinda silly to hop into a relationship assuming there hasn't even been any sexual tension yet? the "what are we" moment will come eventually if everything goes well, be patient

are those really the kind of women you wish to attract? pick your battles wisely and play to your strengths. but regardless of that, the only way to stop the feelings of inferiority is self-improvement of the areas you feel insecure about.

spend time in a private place where things can actually escalate. then it's just a matter of acting bold at the right time

genderly juxtapositions can be attractive in some cases. it signals that you're not afraid to express yourself. yin and yang, baby

5'9/145lbs here and i get by just fine. put on some muscle mass and your height won't be a huge liability.

social situations aren't supposed to be a performance. by thinking too much about results and outcomes, you fall into a negative feedback loop. get out of your head and enjoy the present moment. the lessons are learned afterwards.
/r/seduction31/05/22 02:47 PM

yes, people make fun of others. but it's not about you personally. when you get made fun of, you just happen to be a convenient scapegoat to project negative feelings onto. nothing in the social realm is personal. as you stated, people are evil by nature - it has nothing to do with you. and ofc you COULD get ridiculed for this or that, but what's the point of suffering imagined troubles? it's all in your head...

you're really shooting yourself in the foot by thinking that others are making fun of you. good news - the world doesn't actually revolve around you and no one gives a shit. everyone around you is just as self-absorbed as you are. a bit of empathy goes a long way.
